Because the gap between each class is 1 so you have to subtract 0.5 to get the boundary

Yes. The formula is applicable for all percentiles, you just have to change the value of k. For P25, k is 25. Same with deciles.

Kasi pag Quartiles, they divide a set of data into 4 equal parts, so 25% each part. Kaya pag Q3, 25% mas mataas, 75% mas mababa.

Dapat within or malapit sa decile class. For example, your decile class is 1-10, hindi pwedeng nasa 11 something pataas ang answer mo.
