Measure of location is a measure of central tendency that explain central value of data. Average is a single value which represent the whole data. Averages tend to lie in the centre of a distribution they are called measure of location or measure of central tendency. Arithmetic mean is a most commonly used average. Geometric mean for grouped and ungrouped data also discuss. Harmonic mean is reciprocal of mean and it is also describe for grouped and ungrouped data.
