Love my Day Sling 3 Maxes, I have two of them, one black (regular not x-pac) and one grey. It's an awesome EDC with room to spare and the fit is top notch.. Great for flights too as a personal item.
I have the Max as well and I really like it, EXCEPT, that magnetic buckle. Don't like magnetic buckles on straps to begin with, but the one on my Max keeps sliding apart at random times, such as when I'm taking it off/on over my head, arm movement, etc. Wish it came with a choice of buckle.
@@marianthelibrarian2274oh too bad. I love mine. Regular size, not Max. I had read about people having trouble with that magnetic Fidlock buckle but personally, I have never had a single one. It has never como even close to becoming unbuckled accidentally.
This sling is a BEAUTY! 🤩 I love mine so much, I wanna hug it all the time. It’s my perfect sized EDC. And AER excelled at these small but valuable details, like the pull tabs for the front zipper, the small hanging loop for hanging it; the back ‘hidden pocket’ is so great for storing things you wanna keep safe. Those things have to be flat though, like a credit card, a hotel key, extra cash, entrance tickets, boarding passes, etc. AER doesn’t sell it as water resistant item but the other day I was caught in a persistent rain for 20-25 mins. and all my things remained dry and safe. The cordura fabric feels warm and smooth. The hug thing is real. It’s THAT cozy.
I kind of wish they would get rid of the small loop on the outside. I think it would look sleeker without it. But I get it if people actually find it useful for hanging it up, though I personally wouldn't.
I liked the review... I'm totally meh about the bag.. it's just another rather dull black bag. If I was gifted one, I'd be happy, I wouldn't buy it though.. unless it came in PURPLE 😱😱😱😱 (it doesn't tho, i checked)
@@elanthys if I'm going somewhere with pickpockets, I'd opt for a pacsafe I think. I have, in the past, had my bag under a coat to keep it safer. I just think Aer is very.. eh I dunno.. safe? Bland? Vanilla? Unisex? Inoffensive? Good bags, for sure, but they're like the Rick Astley of bags.. 🤣🤣

Agreed great for a personal item to fit the essentials!!
Oh no really?? I haven't heard that about the buckle but ill look into it see if mine does that
@@marianthelibrarian2274 Never had that issue personally but can’t deny some reviews have mentioned it. Not sure how that happens… 🤷♀️

Loved the review! Could you maybe do a review for the best toiletry/dopp kit? thanks!
Thank you!! Yes I will try and add some to the list :)

Couldn't agree more it's an amazingggggg sling!! Aer killed it, glad you love it!!
Is there more space in this than the Tomtoc sling?
I have not personally used the tomtoc sling it does look spacious. I just know this Aer sling is huuuuge way bigger than I was expecting
@@GearfortheGirlsthank you.
The bag is too small for my edc. My glasses in a case don’t fit in my bag when my things are minimally there
Yes same I would say for me it's better when traveling!

I will say i didn't think I would ever use it until I did, I don't use it very often tho. I agree it would look sleeker without it 🤷♀️
Nooooo! I loooove that loop! It's very discreet and love to hang it from there

I wouldn't say it's dull, more like inconspicuous. A plus when in streets rife with pickpockets.

@@linedwell haha fair enough to each their own :) I second the Pacsafe choice too
I wish Aer had purple!! 😩😩 but honestly this is a great sling just not the best looking
HAHAH i want you to know I laughed out loud very hard at this. So descriptive🤣 @linedwell
