I love how you talk about how some bags look like a turtle shell! It's so true, especially for us shorter folks. Thanks for such a comprehensive review!
I'm not a girl, but as a smallish guy, I found this review very helpful. It's one of the best reviews of this bag I've seen on YT. Thanks and well done!
This is a great bag! I got the 28L. I'm even shorter than you (only 5 ft 😢) and the 35L would look humongous on me. I got the X-Pac version. Not really a fan of the outer material. But I'm a BIG fan of the orange interior! It might be a shallow reason to get the Xpac but it looks AMAZING and makes me twice as happy
@@blurpblurp the xpac outer material is 'crincklier' (noisy, I mean) and more water-resistant. Has a more 'plasticky' feeling. The zippers are all aqua-guard which makes them water resistant too, but that comes at the price of making them a bit harder to open and close. But is not big deal. you get used to that.
Great review. Nice to see it on a shorter person. I don't travel much, so I think when I'm ready to pull the trigger on one of these I'll go for the small (28L), as it will mainly be used for EDC.
Thanks so much for this review! ❤ I’d been going back and forth between the Osprey Fairview 40L and this one. I like that the Aer Travel Pack 3 has a tech organizer and more quick access compartments but when you add on the waist straps it’s nearly $100 more than the Fairview. 😢
Ugh i do loveeee me the Osprey Fairview, super comfortable. But agreed Aer is better for tech organization and has more convenient pockets. If you are on a budget tho I would highly recommend the Osprey it’s great for the price
I would love to see you review the Mountain Hardwear Redeye 45!!! I’m searching for some bags for a trip later this year and love your content, heavily considering this bag but haven’t found many video reviews on it
Absolutely loved this review, especially for my frame, which is similar to yours. But more importantly, where can I get that black skort you're wearing??
I'm great fan of this brand and your review helped me to overlook and it's great 👍🏻 thanks for the review ❤ Looking forward to purchase this product when i gather all the money
Great review - would love to see your thoughts on the Aer Go Pack 2, the Tom Bihn Synapse 19/25, Fjallraven Raven 20, Baboon to the Moon City Pack, Mystery Ranch District 18/24. Great set of bags!
Hey, just a content tip since your channel says "for girls". My wife would love if you showed what type of skin care products and how you pack them minimally. I bet other girls would be interested if you just went over what you take in your DOPP kit... Just an idea, I'm not criticizing or hating. Going back to your point.... I'm ALMOST pulling the trigger on the AER 3... I'm just hoping it will fit me better than the GR1.
Great job on the review. Slightly off topic but could you recommend a medium to small size duffle bag that would be likely to fit under the airplane seat?
Hmm I haven’t used too many duffles, I have a baboon to the moon duffle review coming out soon it’s the go bag mini, that will fit under the seat! It’s got colorful options if that’s something you’re interested in lol
I’m glad I found your channel. I’ve been looking for backpacks for a petite girl like me. Would love to see how you pack for a 5 day trip with clothes and skincare!
I have the 28 liter and I really regret buying the smaller bag. Just not big enough it’s more of a second bag. It’s quite chunky also. I think they need more mesh that’s see thru… I could not easily see where I put things 😢 I say always go for a 35 - 40 when traveling for a woman
I'm starting to rethink it myself with the TP3. But I like how much easier it fits underneath an airline seat. The smaller bag forced to cut down on what I can carry. I'm Marisa-size, and the bag looks huge on her!
@@surelyslim I need a bag that will accommodate 4 days. I think 28L is more for 2 days. yes it fits under the seat very well but at 5’10 my clothes are bigger also lol I need to shrink😝
Thank you for your review! I have one question about the suspension laptop pocket, it is also supported by a stiff plastic side- or it is just the soft padding? I just mean, if I drop the bag, will there be stiff backing to hit the ground first and protect/keep the laptop from hitting the ground?
Glad you like! No just soft padding, but yes it will protect your laptop from hitting the ground if its dropped. Aer has very secure laptop compartments 👍
Do you have a link to buy the 28L? Gotta get my girlie her commission :) unfortunately the 35L is too big to be a “personal item” on spirit/frontier (if you get a gate agent who goes according to the rules, at least 😂 and I’m not tryna count on luck that they won’t care). But the 28L will work! So I’m going to try it
Ah thank you so much that is appreciated 🫶 Oh god do NOT mess with spirit lol they dont play around with the size. The small should fit perfectly! go.nomadsnation.com/travel-pack-3-small
This bag is good for me as a tall man with a wide frame, I can get away with them thinking it's personal item sized, but for most other people, you'll likely get it counted as your carry-on as it is fairly large looking.
@@GearfortheGirls Pretty good impersonation though. I have loads of Texan friends. I realised that you weren't after seeing your other videos. You're throwing in random America accents. Very nice reviews of bags!

Hell yes do what makes you happy!! I’m a suckerrrr for a fun interior color, check out Alpaka bags if you like the bright orange interior!
what is the different of the normal pack compared to the X-Pac?
@@blurpblurp the x-pac has an orange interior, it’s lighter, more expensive, and it only comes in blk
