Fender Japan guitars are excellent. I must have had about a dozen over the years. Never a bad one. Still got one up at my mothers house in Renfrewshire.
Absolutely gorgeous! And sounds great. Makes me wish I hadn't sold my Squier version. As far as I can tell, this one has more useable sounds. Pickups sound more even keel, so to speak. I'm really looking forward to the comparison video. As, what initially sold me on the Squier was that awesome neck, and I'd like to see how they match up. Also, my favorite sound on the Squier was the middle position with only moderate gain. Part of why I sold it. Not versatile enough. Anyhow, as usual, you make it sound awesome. Early request for not only Dinosaur Jr. sounds, but also some Adam Franklin, too!
Had one of these, it was awesome. The key weakness as with many MIJ was the pickups. Replaced with some seymour duncan antiquities and it was a monster all around. The satin neck with the med jumbo frets was fantastic.
Very cool! I look forward to the comparison video. I see the bridge on the purple might be slanted slightly whereas the Squier is straight. Is it also a bit thinner? Good demo as well.
I've liked the Squier version a lot whenever I've run across it in shops, but couldn't quite justify another "only a like" guitar purchase to myself, and have always said "If only it came in a different color..." And now THIS is the color I'd rather it be. 😹
End tune has a Teenage Fanclub circa A Catholic Education/Bandwagonesque vibe when they were digging D Jr. a fair bit. And why not!! Very Raymond McGinley style leads - which is not a complaint - its a COMPLIMENT!:) I have this Jazzmaster. It's a fine guitar indeed.
Beautiful and great sounding guitar! Nice demo!
Thanks for checking it out, Sir. Hope you're well.
Nice sparkling finish ❤❤
Love it mate! 🤩
Awesome track too! 😎👌
Cheers Sir - a braw looking instrument. Sadly it will be going back to its proper owner soon, boo!

I totally agree - the Fender Japan stuff I've played has all been excellent build quility.

Man, I wish I could do Servedriver some proper justice! I'm looking forward to doing the comparison videos. Definitely a difference in the pickups.

I'm sure I read that J changed his pickups to Seymour Duncan antiquity on his purple one?
Yeah!!! It's true! Absolutely beautiful guitar! I love P90! Congrats Dunsy! 🤘🎸🎸
They aren't p90s. They are JM pickups
@@NyeJ I didn't know. Thanks. They sound great🎸
Looks pretty nice to me, Dunsy! 👍🏻👍🏻
Thank ya buddy!

I need to check the measurements, but they do feel very similar.
What a beauty!

Yeah, this is a really great looking instrument!
Beezer of a guitar eh Dunsy, I'll look forward to the vid with the comparison of the 2 guitars 👍
Similar but different, is how I would describe them!

Thanks for the most exellent compliments! Love TFC. Yeah, a lovely guitar.
I like the paint job they gave it. It looks like an ice lolly with strings on it.
It's a fine looking instrument - very sparkly!
Dunsy,
That’s a lovely Japanese guitar 👍🍺
Lovely!
Aye, it's braw!
Beautiful guitar! The pickups were a bit lifeless to my ears but that can be easily remedied.
I have major GAS for that model. Have for years now. So badass.
there very junk
😂 um, no.
