- I bought this projector from amazon as a comparison to a similar product I reviewed a while back. this one wins in size, ram (and consequently load times and better performance), and it also has better controls. It comes with both a wireless remote and has built in controls on the top. You can find it by searching asin B0732PNSL3

If doing the comparison, please try to show us just a little bit of the comparison in daylight conditions (e.g. cloudy afternoon and daylight coming in thru windows, no direct sunlight of course and no artificial lighting on) - all projectors perform well in completely dark environment BUT a lot of us are trying to substitute a TV with a projector so we would like to know if a projector can at least be used in daylight coming in thru windows (I don't mean daylight coming onto a wall/screen on which a picture from projector is projected) or if it is a really bad idea and useless in that conditions.

What you have here ("P9 projector") is (I think) a projector called H96-P on gearbest.com which is no exciting info as everyone would prefer to order from amazon and not gearbest BUT it is also available on aliexpress.com under the name Touyinger S9 - why I mention that?
As the S9 is the newest version of this design and therefore it has a whopping 200 ANSI lumens (twice as much as P9/H96-P) and runs Android 6.0 out of the box. What is more, it can be had with 32GB RAM and also it will get updated to Android 7.0 in a month or so (info from the manufacturer) which is good for future proofing.
I am wondering how much better the S9 is in terms of brightness and if 200 ANSI translates in any shape or form to being twice as bright as this P9 and H96-P.
I really only buy from Amazon because aliexpress doesn't have the same protections in place. I am interested in the same questions you had though. I'm all about checking out new projectors.

It would be interesting as it is 200 ANSI lumens and costs around $400 so it would be interesting to see if a good $200 projector (P9 or C800) can keep up with the M6.

Is it worth upgrading to the 2gb versiom of this model or is 1gb fine? Appreciate any info?
Depends on what you're doing with it. Mine runs fine for dreaming and watching movies. Thats pretty much all I use it for. That being said, I almost always spring for the best my budget allows when going for electronics.
