What topic should we tackle on our next "Here's Why" video?
R3 for city riding please! Currently having the MT03 or R3 debate for downtown Toronto
Pls review latest CBR500R, it seems to be a good city bike too. Would like to see your review on that bike.
Honda Grom when the 2021 model comes out?👀👀👀😅
Hi Chase. Can you compare yamaha mt03 and kawasaki z300 and give us your personal opinion which motorcycle is better?
Def nothing more on mt03 jesus christ man terrible bike ugly bike useless bike
Can we please take a second to appreciate the camera work in this video. So well done!
Thanks man. The team and I really enjoy making these.
😂
Literally and in my city bro I’m so happy to see where I ride everyday on video like this wwdffff
Me seeing him driving around my neighborhood in Atlanta: "Sweet he's in candler park"
Chase: "You know how these IDIOTS drive around here"
Me: "haha yes, wait..."
I was going to say the same thing. Fellow Kirkwoodian here. Now I want to get some Fox Bros.
lol
Bro you KNOW you can't argue with that.
Um yes please?!
Zesto, fool.
Leveled up overall video quality 👌👌 no dull moment
Nanonood ka din pala dito sir JT ☺☺😅
Pa shout sir jt
4:04 that hurt my feelings..
A+ for the B-roll shots! AMAIZING kept me entertained! 💯 🔥
Glad to hear it man!
Hell yeah love my MT03. Part of me wishes I got a svartpilen 401 but can’t beat Yamaha reliability! Thinking of raising the bars a tad for a more dirt bike feel. Clean content thanks man!
I was in the same boat, but a dealership close to me had a slightly used MT-03 at a discounted price and after the test ride it was a no brainer.
Just got a MT03 2023 feels great 🎉🎉
I think you've finally made me choose this over the R3 since my riding is mostly city based, thank you as usual Chase!
Same bike just different bars. R3 is for city riding too. Infaxt I would say more than the mt03. I just put the mt03 bars on my R3 for long dustance riding. The mt03 is more comfortable for longer rides.
5:47 just wanna say that 37 horsepower and 20ftlbs is actual wheel specs. To the crank it gets 41.4 horsepower and 22 ft lbs
you film work is great and still getting better!
OC! Glad you're back! I bought a very slightly used MT-03 back in November and absolutely love it. Unfortunately I only had time to put a couple hundred miles on it before I had to store it (it's snowing and like 14°F here in Michigan today), but I can't wait to get back on it.
The video quality is really really good. Thank you, for putting this much effort into your videos.
Great job Chase! You and your team are the best! Congrats to make this less than 7 min video of a motorcycle review. That's great for a YT channel. Watchers appreciate that. Tks.
The quality of this video is out of this world!! You kept me entertained the entire time! I can’t wait for a first ride on the new 2021 mt-07 and mt-09!!! OC crew!
Great video! I bought my MT-03 in August and love it for city riding. As I get older, this will be my daily driver
The production quality of this channel is fantastic. Subbed!
Your normal video quality is good, but this is just stellar. Nice quality and format. This is top-notch proffesional level.
Love seeing all the streets I take every day. I'm from Atlanta and every thing you said is spot on! Keep it up and hope to see you one day out in the streets 😎
Oc. I travel too big cities all the time, but don't regularly ride in them daily.
Solid video. Love the camera work. The editing when you ride through the fence was flawless.
My MT-03 will be here in a week. This was an excellent and informative video and I liked it. This video was shot very well and was very well narrated and the video quality was excellent. Good job guys!
i loved everything that you said about the yamaha mt-03 bro in fact i bought one this year and its true it is a perfect commuting bike for me especially for work with this gas keep rising it will saved me a lot of money and the price compare to other 300cc bike out there is amazing maintenance is easy too like the oil changes and lots of aftermarket mods you can do with it i think i won't grow up with this bike and keep it forever thanks a lot for inspiring me chase you are really a better reviewer on you tube keep it up man!
OC: it’s only Feb and we can already tell the improvements in the videos man. Top notch quality stuff. I was fortunate enough to do a demo day out here in Arlington, VA, with the MT03 and not only is it economical, but it’s super fun.
I frequently commute into DC for work on my R6, which has now become my track mule. But have been strongly considering this bike as my commuter/everyday thing.
Great information chase, it gets me thinking about what to look for in buying a motorcycle
@Chaseontwowheels, I really enjoy your in depth reviews of motorcycles. Beautiful videography as well! Keep up the amazing content!
Great to see this review hope other episode will come soon ❤️
*OC* I do a lot of in city and highway riding here around Knoxville. I love the editing and all of different shots / angles used in this video.
OC: i do a lot of in city riding on my R3 and love how good the range is per tank, how cheap it is to fill up, the maneuverability is on it and so on
Your content is very well presented
Beautiful shots wow
Dude the quality is insane. You’ve truly hit RevZilla level bike reviews and beyond man. Excited for your content this year!
This gave me a lifestyle vibe! Im sold!! Good work man
OMG. You guys are getting so good at this now!
Great review!!!
Great filming and demonstration of all the hazards; it was a pleasure to watch. Got me one step closer to grabbing this bike! Going to hit the dealership tomorrow and throw a leg over and see what happens.
A rare video of the bike because it is shows from other perspective while driving. It is something that I looked for some time. Keep it up! Sub!
yesssss i love the 3rd person camera, it keeps me engaged, that water bottle shot tho lol
What a great review man! Just subscribed
love the videos, I ride most of the time on country roads OC
OC: Small town riding compared to ATL. Country roads & a 30 mile 1 way to work, with speeds averaging 65mph. Love the content Chase & glad to see you back on the tube.
You’ve had some videos with excellent video quality, that used to stand out. Now, it seems like you’ve leveled up all of your videos, and I’m loving it! Production level was high, but it was also a fun light hearted video. Great bike too!
Thanks, we work pretty hard to get that all in balance.
Love the Yamaha MT series, went and bought an MT-09 for my do-it-all bike. Love the 03 as well, would love to have one for friends to ride with me.
smart, informative, thank you
Dude.. when I bought my raven black 2020 MT07, I hated the neon red wheels... but I honestly love it now seeing your shots
I still hate those wheels. Looks too hot pink for me...
Californian in Boston here. The contrast between the two coasts is immense, and this kinda convinced me to trade in my R6 here for an MT-03. Makes sense!
Love that bike. A well made video.
Amazing cam work.
Very nice review 😁👌
the vibes of this video were so chill 🖤
Thanks for the vid! Be great if you could do a similar review on the Z400 ... All great points... from UK - I drive and been riding since 12 years old - it really should be mandatory for people to ride a motorcycle for a year before being allowed a car license - it'd solve sooo many problems!
Got myself a mt-03 💯 nice camerawork A++
Hey... this is actually good info.... can u do a line-up of maybe top 5 inner city bikes like this one? I live in new york and thinking of getting a bike soon and those videos would actually b great
Excellent review, thanks. All my driving will be in city.
Nice catch! ... WOAH NICE CATCH ... Basically how that went.
How the audio so crispy??? Great video man
I live in houston. I do quite a bit of urban riding on the weekends, but more highway when I'm actually going somewhere. I agree with everything you said. Also, my bike is an Aprilia Shiver 750, love it to death! OC!
I got the 2021 and I am loving it.
Great video, I’m getting one!
Thanks!
Awesome video, I ride in Thailand, this is a "big bike" in Asia.. My MT-15 (155CC VVA 13,000 RPM screamer) was fun and actually has a higher seat height than the 03 was awesome. MT-03 is perfect as the 07 won't like the rough roads and fewer gas stations. Thank you for this video
Can’t wait for the MT07 review!!
I've been away from the bike market for a little (well, I still check my dealer inventory almost every week 😂) since I stopped riding 3 years ago. But I didn't know there was an MT-03! Started on an R3 in 2016, moved to a CBR600 and ended with a FZ-09 back in 2018. Thinking about getting back into riding and my days on the R3 really have me wanting a small bike I can flick around again! Wasn't the fastest but I had way more fun exploring on that little bike! May check out this MT-03. ATL is likely my next move so glad to hear this bike can handle it. I'm from Bama though I've lived in KC for the past few years and everyone I know warns me about ATL traffic 😂😂
OC Great review!
Nice. I have the same bike. I can see that ruroc helmet visor combination fits the ice fluo mt.
Yes please... Want to know more about MT03 experience and mandatory installations !
OC I ride my 2017 R3 that ive had for a year on plenty of highways rides. Although I probably wouldn't want to do 2 or more hours of highway straight, but it'll do it just fine. Honestly with how well tempered the engine is, riding at 70 mph might have it at a high rpm but the bike eats it up. I find myself having to let off cause its so nimble. Love the bike. I dont think I could have picked a better first motorcycle for myself.
OC .. Man, I'm torn between the CRF300L and this MT-03. While I'd love to do more off road riding, the majority of my riding is street/city.....
As usual fantastic video. Good job guys.
Mt-03 bien meilleure pour la route et le confort.
OC: I ride an R3 and I can agree it is amazing in the city. Super maneuverable and has amazing fuel economy. My problem though is here in Southern California everyone goes really fast on the freeways. The average speed is 80mph. If you're going slower than that you are a hazard. The R3 at those speeds gets pretty wobbly due to winds. So in my opinion if you need a motorcycle to sustain higher speeds you need at least a 650cc bike. For a strictly city and non highway bike its perfect.
Really like the look of the MT03. I’ve got an R3 though for now. OC!!
Loving this high quality 3rd person content
Nice review man! I learned on a kawasaki z125 and looking to go a little bigger. This is perfect for commuting.
cb500 or INT 650
I live kinda in the country and I really thought about getting that bike. I don’t need a lot of get and up go juice. Just a chill naked bike to ride around on and commute to work.
This video's quality is amazing
retweet
Looks like most of the US riders live in Georgia 👍 I wish I was there.
I am still waiting for your MT3 vs z400 comparison video that you promised long time ago.
Can’t wait for my 2021 Mt07
I love in Jacksonville, FL. So I ride in the city quite a bit. My 400 does fine. It's mostly the other drivers that stress me out.
Hello from Brasil, by the way... We hope some day there will be a way of getting a wrecked bike rebuilt in Brasil. Meanwhile, we keep watching and pressing The Like Button!
Thanks man! That's all we can ask for!
Just took delivery of a new 2020 MT-03 & added a 3 piece Shad luggage system; going to make this into a "mini tourer/adventure" bike
This is perfect that's all I want is to use to go to work and home and around town if I need to had this bike and the z500 to chose from
OC Almost none, I live in Ireland and we can lane split here anyway so big bikes are fine :) I know I've said it before but my god your rolling shots are beautiful.
Please do a new mt07 review when you get your hands on one. And the new trident from triumph (if you have it in the states) as a beginner bike. This is the style of chase on two wheels I've been waiting for!
Nice video! What shoes are you wearing? Thanks!
Literally love the mt-03
His footage on the highway and talking to the camera while riding is more awesome quality then entire companies like MC magazine.
OC I commute from Dallas, GA all the way up to Alpharetta, Ga, majority of my commute is spent on 285 and 400. My trusty ninja 300 has enough get up and go.
seeing you ride around atlanta and talking about people who can't drive/park reminds me why i hate working here lmao.
OC: currently live in the Lindbergh area so do a lot of city riding, but only to get on the highway to get the heck out of the city.
OC: I could see the MT-03 as a city bike. Even a day ride in the country would be possible. My son had a CBR-250 and that little thumper could scoot. So a 300 twin, would be just fine. I'm just up 85 in Charlotte. I turn in a mix of highway miles and some city. I think the '03 would be up for the highway riding I do.
OC - I do - well, NO riding in the city rn cuz I don’t have my FJ-09 anymore, but when I ride I do my best to avoid the city. Motorcycles to me are for carving up twisties and seeing new places, not so much for A to B stuff. The risk of getting hit by a car when riding in the city is generally above my threshold of acceptability.
Dude, what gear are you wearing from top to toe with this awesome video?
All of my riding will be in the big city of Honolulu. Very interested in the MT03 and as scidedworm09 considered the Svartpilen 401 (as I am as well) but got the MT03 I think I will follow suit.
OC crew
i use my R3 for commute riding and its a beast. chase you need to get yamaha to swap that exhaust system the R3 is a different bike with an exhuast and a tune should try it with the MT-03
Another awesome video guys. I have this bike but parts here in New Zealand ain't cheap, plus we earn less compared to other countries
What’s the average salary over there?
@@italkgory99 id say around 40,000. Most people 500/800 or so per week and most rents are 300+ so not much left after bills. I put a screen on my mt was $300 serviced it was $400
I live about 10 miles from my job in the city. I commute once a week during COVID and take my little 250cc and not my 1300 Cruiser. It’s so much easier to navigate with the small bike. In traffic, up parking garage ramps, around slow moving buses. I don’t even take the highway, I ride in on surface streets. I’m looking to upgrade my old 250 so maybe this bike will be an option if it fits me.
my wife and i both got one and we love them
OC: Pre pandemic I drove into ATL on two wheels. Part highway, part city. Versys 650 rocks it.
Really neat n clean review 👌
Would like to know which one you prefer Yamaha MT-03 or upcoming KTM Duke 390...My preference is Great Performance and Reliability over long period...Thanks😊
Dude seriously, I love the way how you review the motorcycle. It's so unique and the shots are epic... Keep it up and to you crew good luck🤙🏼
Oc. Riding through the pedestrian gate is my move. Explorering the city on a Sunday is the best. Sidewalks are just motorcycle sized roads if you think about it.
I actually started riding on the previous gen MT03 over here in Australia, great little bikes. Current gen updated styling and dash are even better.
Mate I am planning to buy the MT03 here in Australia. Would you still recommend the bike? Does the bike have vibration and how is the heating?
@@AthifKhan if you're looking for a small displacement bike it's definitely worth it in my opinion. Run cool as most bikes around the capacity do, very smooth to ride.
@@AthifKhan did u buy one? I am looking at getting one but I am not sure if 300cc is enough
@@gwhahahaj'en acheté 2 en 2016 et 2019. 53000km.
@@ericlemonnier2187 I bought a mt07
I love my mt03 in Kennesaw GA
