Wrap mode- I always prefer this mode, because as I said, riding at 50-60km/hr in this mode does not use much battery charge as compared to Eco/Ride modes. I always ride 40-60km/hr in this mode and get -106kms range.❤

Hi vivek, Yes you are right, the belt sound triggers dogs. I was frequently chased by a dog, I once didnt throttle while passing by and the dog was idle. Thanks for pointing out. It's pretty scary riding at night getting chased by dogs.
And about range prediction. They have a good machine learning team that built a good model to understand the driving styles of all drivers and predict the range.Its not conventionally programmed like other ev brands.They could sell that tech even to car makers.

The review was amazing vivekji. You nailed your benchmark in this too. We surely want more scooter videos . Bring us anything automotive. We will love it. That mentioning of #JD was a wave of hope. We are acclimatising with two channels , but still miss talking cars. I have a habit of checking the hike in subscriber numbers in both of our channels. I do visit talking cars home page with a deep breath. Sometimes I thinks that talking cars will be back one day with a great surprise. Waiting for that day❤❤

Proud Ather owner here. Like someone else said, best engineered scooter. Although there are some inherent design flaws like open belt, i have learnt to live with it as these are all minor inconveniences. Very satisfied. 😊

Yes this is one of the best stable and sporty scooters available in the market right now.
I felt the suspension is on the softer side and very comfortable with a pillion (compared to dio) . It eats every bump and potholes on the road. Not sure about this updated model. It's a wonderful scooter

One of the biggest difference between ather's magic twist and other regenerative braking is magic twist works regardless of battery charge levels. Other regenerative breaking systems generally requires less than ~80 percentage charge levels. Ather archives this by dissipating heat through motor when regeneration is not possible/battery is above optimum charge level for regeneration

For all those people who are getting excited because Vivek Ji mentioned JD, let me tell you this story of JD trying to buy Ather in Chennai happened long time back, in fact JD himself had mentioned this experience in one of their Talking Cars episodes. So if you are thinking "hey they are still in touch", am not sure, coz the story predates the post Talking Cars era. However, there is nothing in the public space to confirm the suspicion of a rift between them. I personally believe they are in decent terms.
When they went their separate ways, in a way, we got to pick their individual brains more coz both of them are putting out brilliant content now. However for JD and Vivek JI, who by this time are probably fed up with "when will Talking cars come back" should know that besides their car knowledge, there was something deeply enjoyable about two friends getting together and pouring forth valuable information in a light hearted manner.
I apologise to both of them for being a broken record stuck at the same "talking cars" note. You guys only have urselves to blame for creating a masterpiece.
