I have loved watching combat films since I was a child, and now I am a soldier... Because war is a beautiful art
I don't believe such music and suspense exist in tv anymore. I know it must change to this level of plot. I'm glad it did happen once. I don't have cable.
Komme hier...schell...Hans...come here quickly Hans...move the wine barrels
I was eight when Combat first aired Oct. 1962 I loved the show but now watching it I see as not as I did then the vehicles used were mostly U S panted with the BalkenKreuz or bar cross. The only German vehicle used was the Kubelwagon.
LOL, I'm 71 now and I watched COMBAT when I was a boy. When I was 19 I joined the Marine Corps. Go figure!

He was in quite a few movies and shows before and after "Combat!",with his last movie being in 1982.
He was a very good actor who died far too young. He was only 53.

Garrett did a stupid thing but redeemed himself and took care of business at the end....
The Frenchmen character was great, I started out thinking, "Don't trust this guy. To having respect for his ability to think under high stakes pressure. When this show aired I was 3 years old. And only watched a few re-run episodes. But now all these years later I get to watch them as a adult for the first time. It was a adult show. A good one.
