Almost doesn't seem high enough. I charge a minimum starting price of $1,250 a day for residential. I'm in Maryland and my expenses could be slightly higher. An electrician would probably charge even more. You are right about having to factor in any damage and warranty work, most don't consider that. For jobs higher off the ground the price goes up even more.
The higher up you are the greater the risk of whatever you drop flying further away from the top of the ladder and the harder it falls and the dust has more space to scatter in.

Exactly. Lots of people don’t realize the costs of a business and actually making money.
Every time a customer says it's a quick job, I charge extra. Because I know it's going to take longer.
How long are you going to warranty the bulb in case it burns out?
1 year if I provide the materials. No warranty if customer provides materials
@@RenovationsandRepairok. Do you have a preferred bulb brand?
I just did 7 retrofits 8’ ceiling in a kitchen for $250 I was in n out in 45min also they paid for lights
8' is not as bad as 20'. But I think you still undercharged, at minimum you should have charged a half day rate.
Best case - burned so many times - it's never best case
