Can hardly wait to get started. Have to watch you several times to catch on.
Thank you Beth x
I love leaves, let's begin :)
Yay. Absolutely
Thank you for yet another beautiful tutorial. 👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you Karen x
Love this one Rae, so surprising the way those colours layer up xx
Thank you Paula. I love layering colours. It’s a great way to add depth x
Hello Helen, just been watching your super lovely autumn leaf study. Really enjoyed it and has got me inspired to have a go. I love leaves, there wonderful shapes, colours and textures. So Helen, can we have some more leaves please, especially ones that are going over, decaying and with holes and bits broken off the edges. Thanks again, Gary xxx
Oh yes absolutely. I’m going to do a series in this sketchbook. I’ll scatter them over late jan through March x
So pretty 😍 💗 💓 Autumn is my favourite season but we are in the middle of summer right now 😢 I can't wait to see the gorgeous autumn leaves next year 🎉🎉😊🇦🇺🫶👍💕💕💕🐝
thank you so much Dr Bee - I love painting leaves and am looking forward to this mini series xx
So beautiful, Rae. Can't wait to see more leaves!
Thank you so much!
I love the idea of a series of leaves on one sheet, and this first one is absolutely gorgeous!
Thank you. I’m looking forward to this project xx
Beautiful, Helen! Thanks for making me want to take out my paints, every time I see your videos. All of them, from beginner to more advanced, produce a piece we could be proud of. I love your style of teaching! 💕
Oh that’s wonderful to hear. Thank you so much x
❤ Love watching you paint and to see how your brushes work. ❤
Thank you very much John x
Oh wow. That’s gorgeous. Thank you Helen for another superb video. I’m looking forward to the leaf series as I aim to build up a library of leaf paintings to use in my crafting projects. I’m definitely going to paint this one. It’s lovely. Look forward to the next one. Arty hugs - Dawn 🌅
Hi Dawn. Thank you. I’m looking forward to continuing this series. They will be scattered around a bit so do keep an eye out. Hope you had a lovely Christmas. Arty hugs Rae x
Nice….🤩
Thank you Andrea x
Stunning colours, I love this so much Rae 🌷
Thank you x
Lovely tutorial thank you ☺️
Thank you very much Michelle x
This is so lovely using the vibrant colours. I missed out on your brushes, the website says coming soon? Are they releasing some more sets?
Thank you Caroline. No, as far as I’m aware there’s no second release. I think the coming soon is to see how many folks sign up. Perhaps if enough there will be but no plans to x
Why do you keep your water on the left-hand side and your brushes on the left-hand side? I'm always afraid that I'll drip paint from my brush or smudge something putting my hand back-and-forth. What are the pros and cons of putting them on the right versus the left?
Thanks for your help.
Hi Phyllis. I’m right handed so having the water that side makes sense. Ideally I’d have the brushes there too but for the purposes of filming they are to the left as it balances the shot better. X
Would you please tell me what the magic eraser is that you use? Thank so
Hi. It’s bought in hardware stores or Amazon. Just put magic eraser into search. It’s Marketed as a non chemical stain remover. You buy in a block and tear a bit off. Wet and squeeze out the excess water and use on any paint splashes that you want to remove. Note that you won’t be able to paint on that area of paper as it can scratch the surface but it’s great for any paint that’s gone astray.
@@helencampbell Thanks. It looks great
@@phyllismcintyre9681 thanks Phyllis
