There are regions in the US where feral cats are a problem on the local bird species so keeping your cats from breeding with them if they are outdoors or if they escape your house is good policy.
As is taking feral cats in for the same treatment. Unless you want cats to eat all the cardinals, finches, and sparrows in which case you're not a very good earthly steward.

@@meganparrish807 Not just birds, but I'm also seeing chipmunks and other wildlife, once the cats were dealt with. The squirrels are little out of hand though.

*I love inflatables!* I put them up every year. Of course, I live in the trees. So I have about a dozen trees decorated with lights around the area. So the inflatables aren't the only decorations that are put up.
I always chuckle when I see a fellow inflatable person have them off in the daytime. Considering how weak the internal lighting is on inflatables, the daytime is when they look the best. I just leave mine on 24/7 while they're up. I even have external spot lights on them, to overcome the weak internal lighting at night.
I love coming home to inflatables and lit trees. Before, when I didn't decorate, coming home in the dark on these short winter days was kinda depressing. Now, I look foreword to going home.
As far as how long they stay up... I take mine down on the first Saturday after the NCAA football national championship game. By then, the sun is starting to stay up later, and I no longer need the decorations to avoid the dreariness of short winter days.

I bought 3 Christmas inflatable doggies this year for our yard at Walmart! I never realized they were thought of as the cheaper “Crocs for your yard” kind of Christmas 🎄 decoration, but makes sense. That’s such a great line!! You kill me! 😂😂😂

I live in Bakersfield, CA, we’re cross between Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas over here, Christians, Conservative and Country music and neighbors with holiday inflatable every holiday, Home Depot and Walmart down the street from my neighborhood and most of my whole family lives here in the same town, I love it!
