In this video, I'm going to Add the Easythreed X1 to the most used Slicers, Prusa Slicer, IdeaMaker, and Matter Control.
So we are going to setup up the Easythreed X1 As a new 3D printer in every slicer. And we are going to find the ideal settings from Cura to Prusa Slicer, IdeaMaker and Mattercontrol.

It's a cheap but very good entry to the 3d printing world without spending too much money. Mine even came with the parts cooling fan upgrade! Decent prints out of the box! Love it.
The parts fan is a great addition. It’s really needed to get beautiful prints out of the machine. For the price you can’t complain.
The X1 is quite a capable machine, got one for practice on prime day and I'm surprised how capable it is for the money, and at times equally frustrating.
Great for learning troubleshooting in my opinion makes it more fun.
When the x-axis stopped working it was fun stripping it down to find the hidden connector in the cable cover had disconnected.

Thank you for the help just got my first 3d printer from temu and it doesnt come with a lot of instructions. It works great printing small items but tried printing a 3.story building for my train set and it came out full of holes and like it was made of spiderwebs

Well I recieved the K-9 version last week and tonight its printing wow slice ,download code to sd card ,level machine ,apply glue to mat ,insert sd card and press go button 3 minutes its printing ....so far so good ,now to find a copy of the marlin settings so I can add a real display and controll it with Reptiler.
Finding a good complied firmware from Marlin for this printer can be hard and need to be careful to flash it onto the board, if it goes wrong you'll have an issue. Did you find the firmware for it?
How do you attach this 3D printer to your computer? (Swapping the SD card back and forth is driving me crazy!) Thanks for the video!

When you attach your Easythreed X1 to your computer with the USB cable, make sure that the SD card is in the Printer
Just like said to Bob, use the SD card in the printer and then use the USB cable to connect the printer to the computer
Thanks for this video. I have been using ideamaker with my Easythreedx1 but its a hit or miss just because i'm not to sure about my settings.
Did you use IdeaMaker as I did for your Easythreed X1? How does the first layer look like? Which parts you have trouble with? Did you use Cura 4.8? If you download the latest Cura, install that, go to my website zachary3dprints.com/ go the the latest post about the Cura slicer settings or the the Slicer page, you'll find there a download with the Cura profiles which I use. try that if yours doesn't work
do you reccomend the easythreed x1? i'm thinking about buying one as my first 3d printer
As first 3d printer? I would recommend the Elegoo Neptune 2 or three Creality Ender 3v2 those have heated beds, have a bigger printing volume and more reliable
I'm trying to get the easythreed k7 setup in cura so I can slice, in printer options in cura easythreed is not a option how can i add this printer? Thanks in advance and your videos
Thank you. I don;t have the K1, but check the basic settings of your printer... size, heated build plate, speed... with those specs, you can basically set you printer in every slicer

Great video! I am just starting with this printer and I was wondering how you print the 1st lines on the side of the bed? I believe that'd help me to remove the small leftover filament strings that I get after heating the hot end and which sometimes get in the way of printing the 1st layers successfully.

Well, thank you sir. Yes the purge line, that was a test, and you saw them. I removed that part, because I want to get more into this purge lines and make a video about that. It does work, but you need to fine tune the start Gcode

Hmmm, I don't know for sure, you can try this... The printing volume is the same, no heated bed, so yeah you can use it

Correct, you need to add it as a custom printer... like mentioned in the video, printing volume 100*100*100mm, 0.4mm nozzle, no heated bed and Marlin

Hello Douglas, on the micro SD card is some data, but to setup this printer in the slicer, you need to add a custom printer profile

As far as I know the easy threed only prints g code. If you want to print any other code you have to slice it.😊
Yes that is very correct. STL files are being translated into G-code that the printer understands
