Artanis Disables Stasis Field of Purifier's Cybron Mothership (Starcraft 2 | Protoss | Endion)

- Unsealing the Past. After some deliberation, Hierarch Artanis decided that the ancient Purifiers who had been sealed away on Cybros needed to be reactivated. He thought that with some convincing, they would help him in the war against Amon just as Fenix had. Grand Preserver Rohana was vocally opposed, but Artanis went ahead with the operation. Cybros was in orbit above Endion. On the surface several stasis locks shielded Cybros, and would have to be deactivated in order to reactivate the purifiers. Unfortunately, a large contingent of Amon's zerg broods had infested Endion.
Artanis and his forces arrived on the surface to deactivate the stasis field generators. Phase-smith Karax discovered the locks could only be unsealed through a device called the Megalith, which would have to be guided to each stasis lock. Unfortunately, the forests were infested with zerg. Karax activated the facility's colossi in order to cover the Megalith as it moved. Karax uncovered several power cores of incredible size, constructed with solarite components, that would be value for the Spear of Adun's solar core. The Daelaam forces pushed through reinforcing zerg numbers, but eventually the Megalith was escorted to the last lock, freeing Cybros from stasis. Artanis recalled his forces and made his move to Cybros.

The entire protoss campaign is just Rohana going "Don't do this thing" and Artanis telling her to fuck off.

Its really your choice. The standard/purifier colossi excel vs mobs of light units. Wrathewalkers are focused on burning down single heavy targets at a time and reavers... iirc reavers play like the.unit from SC I. Explosive burst damage in an area

Well, I thought robotic facilities would construct robo-units instead of warping them in like Gateways or Stargates. Don't they?

@@ElkaPME But what do they need the facilities for if they just warp em in? In some languages they're even called robotics factories. I mean, I believe you know that they're being warped in from Adun, but this just doesn't make sense to me.
@@flars8539 They actually do both. Each Robotics facility is overseen by a master of Robotics, who oversees the maintenance and manufacture of various machines of war. The facilities are also capable of warping their creations in between themselves. Protoss logistic sciences are HIGHLY advanced, and if the race itself was just a bit more numerous, they'd be able to slaughter the Zerg and push the Terrans out with no problem just by virtue of them being able to get their units to the battlefield faster and more easily than anyone else.
3 years late, but I think that they might warp the materials and pieces on which colossi are constructed, and then they assemble them in the robotic facilities to deploy them in the battlefield. But when you have the warp upgrade, I guess they also install a warp conduit in the robotic facilities to teleport the constructs from there to any adjacent place with a connection to the psionic matrix in the planet.

I never liked Artanis. He is sounds like a tolerant sjw.
This final expansion was just full of feminist sjw garbage. And Artanis was always just the lets forget our ideals and 1000 year heritage, throw it all down the toilet and treat the lesser species as equals cause I am sure they would treat as the same when put in the same position type. He is a cartoon, and this end of the cycle situation is so overused it has become a cliche.
I dont know, but from all the races and campaigns I prefer the zerg. They are brutal, efficent and their only goal is the survival of their species and its dominance of the galaxy.

while Artanis/Protoss/Taldarim/Purifier kind are very advanced and the most efficient speicies with complimenting seriously advanced energy technology with at least or almost none "waste" (where humans would waste resources but lesser efficient than this advanced aliens
while zerg is hard coded to adapt and lay waste or not recycle that efficiently for the planet they are in)
