I was shocked that so many people were talking about how they "honestly think she's pretty." She's literally a normal person who was born with short legs and arms and then got them lengthened.
Rava Codo the comments are absolute lies by buffoons who want to seem kind for calling someone attractive even though they’re not, the idea is that they are trying to be seen as nice to someone who is pitiful. We need to be normalizing and accommodating for differently abled people in this society just as we accommodate for fully abled people instead of pushing things like children having unbelievingly painful risky surgeries as the only way to independence and quality of life. You're not just living your own choices when your choices ill affect your own community and send a strong message AGAINST what that community is saying, against what is RIGHT and FAIR. She said she wanted this for independence, she wanted to be able to do things like turn a light switch on...A LIGHT SWITCH. We can't create a society accessible to every level of ability?? We have to push THIS kind of thing instead? Which is less risky to a child, to anyone? THAT'S the point. She broke her legs several times in order to reach things when those things could've easily been brought down to her level, if only that was what we were willing to do for all humans.
EC A it wasn't only for a stupid light switch....that can easily be moved lower. There are plenty of little people that didn't go thru this surgery who are able to turn on the damn lights. Like her mother said... they won't be there forever and she didn't want her daughter to rely on others. Even relying on parents, or other loved ones...it makes the person feel like they are a burden for those caring for them. If I were in her shoes, I would've made the same choice. I hate the feeling of having to rely on others.

my girlfriend soon fiance is a proportionate 4ft 5in and i love her just the way she is , im glad she has accepted and embraced her hieght , wouldn't want to see her suffer .
Actually she likely has pituitary dwarfism. Most people associate dwarfism with achondroplasia dwarfism (which is a mutation leading to the growth plates solidifying too early. This causes your limbs to be short, but other areas to be "normal height.") When someone is short but proportional you can rule out achondroplasia which only affects longitudinal growth of the limbs. However pituitary dwarfism is where the body doesn't make as much growth hormone as it should, causing all types of bone growth to be equally stunned. (Some people with this condition are even treated with growth hormone.) (Note: every heard of gigantism? Where and individual is 7 feet + tall? This is usually due to a tumor pressing against the pituitary gland causing it to secrete excess growth hormone.)
If you don't want to have the operation, don't have it. On the other hand, if you don't agree to have it, you shouldn't be forced to have it. Tiffany wanted to have the surgery and asked to keep going. The man should NOT have been forced by his parents to go under the knife when he clearly didn't want it done. It was HIS body!
To hear her say at the end that she has everything she’s ever wanted, not many people get to that point in their life especially at a younger age. It’s so heartwarming to see. 💗
I have a bone disease and surgies suck. Don't mess with the bones. When she gets older she'll be in pain. I've had it since I was 12 and my bones deteriorate.
I have one shorter leg and had this done twice. It's the worst thing imaginable. If things go wrong you're stuck with it or you remove the progress and retry it again. The pain is awful as just a given. My personal experience with it caused so many infections and I was on morphine for a year and failed first year certificate for it. It helped but it's the last resort for a lot of people. I applaud her for doing it going through the tears, the sleeplessness, the helplessness. As long as she's happy this end it was worth it.
I had this surgery also, I had to have a TSF on my left leg twice and it really sucked, in the end it didn't work and I'm having limb shortening surgery in two weeks.
This was an option for my daughter to fix her legs being different lengths. She choose a different surgery. Her right was her shorter leg. They are now even.
dwarfism runs in my family. my mom is 4" 5. grandmother id 3" 9 and had 12 kids including 4 sets of twins. i have seen others go through this it is torture. definitely not something that should be done on minors. im 4" 10 myself but proportionate. my son had to go through double hip surgery at 3 and it hurt daily seeing him in pain. his surgery was medically needed, i couldnt imagine putting him through surgeries like they describe. but im glad she got the results she planned. some aren't so lucky
lol my aunt is 4'9 and my mom is 4'11. Honestly she could have had a normal life at 4'6-7. I get having the surgery but damn if it was me I would not get one inch more than necessary.
Congratulations! Glad your procedure worked out. There are a lot of brave people in your family. I hope your future is as bright as your past has been.
One of my friend had that surgery in Turkey Dec, 2018. And during the recovery process I kept in contact to him. If smo is interested in this surgery, he could share his experience and some info, photo, video etc. about the process. He says Turkey is one of the most preferable ones for this surgery and he was very pleased about the doctors professional work.
I am a woman at 6ft 2 inches tall. When I was little, I prayed I would STOP growing. Now, 50+ years later, I have never stood more tall or proud because each of us are unique, gifted, and beautiful. Of course, no one cries for the runway tall person, but I got bullied and called names growing up.
Sitting here with a broken ankle feeling sorry for myself, then this pops up on my feed. Changes your perspective quick. What I'm going through is nothing compared to the pain she indured. Made me cry.
I'm 5'10 and I've had to have my legs broken and reset but it was so I would have the ability to walk. It was the most painful thing imaginable so I can't even comprehend what she must have gone through
Even though I watched this I don't recall them saying how much taller she is now ... I thought they said 8 inches taller but now I'm not so sure and I scrolled through again and can't find it
When I was a baby the midwife/doctor wanted to do this to my legs as I was "short" my mum never went back to her and at 14 I'm 5"4 and I'm fine with my height cause I'm not small and I'm not like 6" but I'm glad she's happy with herself 😊
ahhh tiffanie, you are Awesome!!!!! You are Beautiful, you have such qualities I wish everyone had! Doesn't seem to me you have ever felt sorry for yourself at all, instead you just did what you had to do for you! I admire your strength! You have a gorgeous husband who loves you and babies who are adorable, parents who support you, and unknown friends like me who think your AMAZING!!!! GOD BLESS YOU TIFFANIE, AND YOUR FAMILY!!!!!
+Berkeclor92 the concept is the same though breaking the legs and forcing the bones to grow. It doesnt sound appealing in any way shape of or form. Even today with all the advancements we have it is still a very painful procedure to endure
Frying Enigmas painful but with much more success rate, especially the new methods in the last 2 years for less pain. With time things get more advanced and secure.
These things never are such a big deal when it's not YOU. How many people get painful braces, botox injections, boob jobs etc. etc. Probably less risky but still painful.
+Mc Hobbit i see what you are saying. some of us would love what she has and may see it like she has so many wonderful things and its still not enough.
"I don't wish this on anyone but people like you deserve it as you['re] not understanding at all!" I don't need to say much about this sentence. Anyway, back to the point. You look at my comment from the view of someone having more than what she does. I'm looking at this video from my own view, of someone who has less than what she does now. From my world, she has more. From anyone's view that has less than her would see it as so. There are those that wishes for basic necessities, family that care enough to take them to doctor or even able to afford for it. There are simply those of us that couldn't even afford moments to glance in a mirror for moments of self-pity, because that was all the reality that those of us have ever known, and daring to have hoped for more simply never was an option. I do understand that from your view, I am the insensitive A-hole. I can only say, I see the world differently from how you have seen them, that itself breeds various angles and perspectives by itself. So your insult and your "none intended wishes of harm" was unnecessary, please stop proceeding that anyone see the world through your eyes. Anyway ^^, I bid you great weekends.
Lengthening surgery is an individual choice w/ both pros & cons. Her post surgical, healed results are beneficial!! What a happy story. Many blessings!!
Why does their parents choose, why can't the child choose. It's their life not their parents. You talk about it with your parents first. And it's not up to anybody else apart from yourself.
Ranika Dutt Maybe cause her parents paid for it? I doubt this was covered by insurance. And if it left her seriously disabled, they would have to spend hundreds of thousands more taking care of her.
at times, parents must make incredibly difficult medical decisions for their children...decisions that are too complex for a child with limited insight and limited life experiences to make. in this case, the young lady made her own decisions, but she made them with knowledge of what to expect and the risks, and her parents supported her in her choice. it is difficult to see your child suffer physically or emotionally. the process of limb extension is very painful, and even the most cooperative patient can act out negatively while undergoing the process of limb-lengthening ... to the point of sabotaging it at times, even though they initially wanted the procedure.
+randomness051 Guys I found the best website that helps me to gain my height in very short frame of time. I recommend this website to all you guys… Visit GrowTallerTechniques6.blogspot.com for more details......
+randomness051 at age 8 they can barely put their owns shoes on due to short arms. i think you are speaking on a topic you know nill about.. kids with dwarfism are subject to hate and extreme criticism from way earlier than that.. and at that young the healing process is probably easier. to get it done n over with to carry on with life..
+randomness051 and i just wanted to add. a quick google search for people with achondroplasia the average age for the surgery is between 8 and 10 years.. so idk what you are talking about.. it is best while theyre young so they can get the most out of the surgery and continue to grow if you wait till your are done growing you will get the least results.. this is so people can live on their own, have jobs, care for children.. i dont know what you expect
M28tan There's a difference between the lord giving us a cure to a disease and some sick twist deciding that mutilating a body is the best way to get it to do something the brain didn't tell it to do. I don't want anybody to agree with me. I know from my experience that the surgery and the longterm problems it causes- not can cause- causes, aren't worth it.
M28tan couldn't that be avoided if she would accept herself for who she is. I have short people problems as well. I can't reach the faucet in the kitchen, can't see myself in the bathroom mirror, I have a stacked washer and dryer and I have to jump inside the washing machine to get anything that's not at the top and I can't reach the dryer. I've always been short and finally stopped growing when I was 10. Unless you have a terminal condition, I think that surgery is for gutless invertebrates who are too petrified to play the cards they are dealt. Being a dwarf who knows a lot more dwarves, we've learned how to adjust. Yes, we do have to do things differently than taller people, but we still get it done. Yes, they're things that I know for a fact I can't do, but they damn sure don't have anything to do with my height. I've always loved my height and never wished I was taller. I honestly don't understand the necessity of the surgery.
that's a very simplistic view. you must be very young. height is NOT all that matters. clearly, it was important to her....but it's not all that mattered out of the surgery and not all that has mattered in her life.
My uncle had a form of dwarfism but he ended being given hormones when we was really young and now he's a lot bigger. I'm 5'2 and without hormones he would've been 4'6. He does have health problems from it (mainly weight and blood pressure), but he says it was worth it.
I support whatever you do to make you happy but Jen Arnold is only 3 foot 2 inches and she's a Doctor and Married with 2 beautiful children. I think in this case the mother made her feel like she couldn't do these things without surgery which is just not true. As we've seen little people can do just about anything they put their mind to:)
It is absolutely different, this difference in height makes it so she can do what normal people can do and make it so she can interact with a world built for normal sized people.
I think what OP means is that it's not a bad thing. there are differences, but over all there's nothing wrong with getting surgery to change something that hinders your everyday life (physically, socially, or emotionally) 👍
she still isn't normal size though, not even close, it wasn't a needed surgery it was wanted just like a nose job or something like that. there was no medical reason she needed this done even if it did make her feel better. she's still very small.
This is 1 Very brave and awsome lady and she should be praised for having the strength within to put herself through the pain because it's what she wanted if more people were like her and people were as brave and strong as she is then this world would stand a chance , well done beautiful lady for having the courage to live your dream I wish you many happy times to come you deserve it .
Amazing! I am not moved by much but this got me. She didn't do it for vanity but so she could have what most of us take for granted, complete autonomy. And her husband is right, she served in her own war and survived due to amazing self-sacrifice and dedication.
+Kootra The Gambler If I could thumbs up 10 times to this comment I would. I find it so stupid when people say "accept their bodies for what they are". WTF. If that is the case, there would be even more obese people running around. But no, people work out to stay in shape and be healthy. People put on makeup to improve their looks and do all sorts of alterations/grooming with their bodies. And I'm not talking about plastic surgery. I'm talking about coloring hair, getting teeth whitened, women wear heels to appear taller, people get acne treatments, and shave (like you said)...all these things that are now considered "normal", but it certainly isn't what you're born with. FACEPALM.
I think its controversial since this surgery is performed on minors. So basically the parent is making the decision for them which like the guy in this video could result in problems for life. He had to grow up with worse consequences that were not even his own decision.
Limey Figdet Yes, I do every day. I like to make a gratitude list when I'm feeling down or sorry for myself. Now I just look for guys who are 6' or taller.
Captain Picard Not at all. Shorter guys don't like taller women, generally speaking. Not sure if they feel like it undermines their masculinity some way, or if it's a purely sexual thing that they're just into shorter women. Go on a dating site like OKCupid. A lot of the men have a max height they would be interested in set at 5'6".
"OMG, she's actually pretty!" (in many of the comments below). Why shouldn't she be pretty, why is it so remarkable, and why must so many people seem to believe it's unusual for someone with a challenge? Why does it even matter if she is pretty or not? I've noticed in a lot of stories, the media gives the issue A LOT more attention if the subject is an attractive young woman, often blonde and blue-eyed.
they should invest more information into the surgery so that it can be safer, I don't have dwarfism but I am short, I think everyone should have the opportunity to be at least 5'5"
Maria k you don't have problems getting a job? getting a relationship? getting people to take you serious? making friends? reaching stuff that is high? finding clothes that fit?
+Nicole A lol no I don't have any of those problems. Idk if this is a joke or not but it's making me laugh. Can reach for plates and bowls all on my own. For clothes I feel like being short vs being tall while shopping has both there disadvantage.
you would probably not be allowed to get the surgery anyways because you're not a dwarf. At least you're over 5 feet, I'm 4'11" and it has no effect on my independence or my life.
Lisa Ilic That’s not even tall. I’m surprised there are women who want to be that small. I’m 5ft8in and I LOVE IT. I think being that height is sexy, powerful, you draw attention when walking into a room. Everyone thinks you’re a model lol. But to each their own..

Crystal Hay you are the massive cringe

indeed, sensationalism is rampant within the journalistic profession.
literally "look down" lol

the way her husband looks at her is every wife's dream! whether they're a dwarf or not. 😍
Megan Garcia Yes, she appreciates hi in a way a lot of us normal wanna don’t appreciate men this day in age.
And a gorgeous, nice, strong Marine, too!!! Good for them!!!
Megan Garcia what was the point of the last part?
he has weird fetish

However pituitary dwarfism is where the body doesn't make as much growth hormone as it should, causing all types of bone growth to be equally stunned. (Some people with this condition are even treated with growth hormone.)
(Note: every heard of gigantism? Where and individual is 7 feet + tall? This is usually due to a tumor pressing against the pituitary gland causing it to secrete excess growth hormone.)
she does have a form of dwarfism but she is proportional look at jacob comment , its better explained.
She has beautiful face and her smile too
Lol bro her face is like a solid 4/10....
Well someone has low standards...
jonah So are you saying she isnt ugly?
Girl Onfire At least i'm not a liar. I don't sugarcoat things. I don't say someone is beautiful just because I feel sorry for them.
Wise Owl but why do you have to put that shit out there? think what you want, but this is isn't constructive criticism, so like what's the point?
If you don't want to have the operation, don't have it. On the other hand, if you don't agree to have it, you shouldn't be forced to have it. Tiffany wanted to have the surgery and asked to keep going. The man should NOT have been forced by his parents to go under the knife when he clearly didn't want it done. It was HIS body!
"i already have everything that i've ever wanted" i teared up
She has the cutest voice.
lol k... stop spamming w/ bad websites
I reported that person
SurrealKangaroo small vocal chords
SurrealKangaroo yeah, her voice kind of reminds me of the voice actor for Mabel from gravity falls
SurrealKangaroo Yes...she's beautiful and her voice is wonderful.
The worst part of this video is that they named their kid Titan...
lol
Please leave lmao
Lol
+USNA2008 lmao
Lmao 😂
the dad is still affected by it :c
To hear her say at the end that she has everything she’s ever wanted, not many people get to that point in their life especially at a younger age. It’s so heartwarming to see. 💗
I have a bone disease and surgies suck. Don't mess with the bones. When she gets older she'll be in pain. I've had it since I was 12 and my bones deteriorate.
Rexroybal that's horrible, I'm sorry
Looks like that girl has a good man, too. Why mess with it all?
I'm 5 ft, pretty damn short but I've accepted it, I can walk, I can hear, I can see, and I can move my arms. Short but blessed.
5 isn't that bad for a girl
Bitch xD
4'10"
5 is pretty normal for a girl. #metoo
thats not 3 feet tall.... you have it good and you are a short woman so guys are okay with you anyways im 5'10
I applaud her for doing it going through the tears, the sleeplessness,
the helplessness. As long as she's happy this end it was worth it.
I have s short leg too!! Mine is my left leg.
Dude you're amazing. Like a real superhero.
Good for her, she aimed and she achieved.
her husband is so handsome!
filigree was
SomeOneToRemember56 What do you mean, did he die or something?
OGSpaceCadet no but as he got older he lost his looks so rip to that .
G Hq shut up stupid and get out your feelings. Your dad must be ugly , because it seems like I hit a nerve.
I feel so bad and sorry for that guy, why would his parents force him like that? Everything is their fault :(
dwarfism runs in my family. my mom is 4" 5. grandmother id 3" 9 and had 12 kids including 4 sets of twins. i have seen others go through this it is torture. definitely not something that should be done on minors. im 4" 10 myself but proportionate. my son had to go through double hip surgery at 3 and it hurt daily seeing him in pain. his surgery was medically needed, i couldnt imagine putting him through surgeries like they describe. but im glad she got the results she planned. some aren't so lucky
anita varrassi Yea!!! You're fun size!!! I'm 5'8
Did anyone see Gattaca?? The main character had this done in the movie. Great movie btw if you haven't watched it!
Samantha NO WAAAAY DUDE I WATCHED THAT EARLIER IN THE HEAR FOR AP BIO
Yeah! One of my favorites!
TXGA VM lol I also watched it in AP bio class 😂😂😂
Yes!!! I watched it in AP Bio as well 😂
I watched it in 9th grade in my living environment class
This is such a beautiful story! Dad broke my heart. Her husband you can see the love in his eyes! And she is beyond strong.
There are a lot of women in South East Asia with the regular height of 4feet 10 inches.
Vida M.O. I'm 4 feet 9.5 inches tall and my husband is 6 feet 2 inches.
pseirend I know a couple who are 4'11" and 6'8"
lol my aunt is 4'9 and my mom is 4'11. Honestly she could have had a normal life at 4'6-7. I get having the surgery but damn if it was me I would not get one inch more than necessary.
It's all about proportion
Yeah but originally she was gonna be 3 feet
Congratulations! Glad your procedure worked out. There are a lot of brave people in your family. I hope your future is as bright as your past has been.
One of my friend had that surgery in Turkey Dec, 2018. And during the recovery process I kept in contact to him. If smo is interested in this surgery, he could share his experience and some info, photo, video etc. about the process. He says Turkey is one of the most preferable ones for this surgery and he was very pleased about the doctors professional work.
I pray for peace and miracles for her.
I'm happy for her, she has everything she ever wanted despite the difficulties.
Right, most women have hard time having a good husband, a good home, and a child. She should feel be very lucky
you're beautiful. you don't need to put yourself through this pain. you are beautiful!
Beautiful story. I got teary ... may God continue to bless her !
I'm confused. Her mom wanted to make sure she could brush her hair, but her arms are still too short? But her legs are preferred size??
I am a woman at 6ft 2 inches tall. When I was little, I prayed I would STOP growing. Now, 50+ years later, I have never stood more tall or proud because each of us are unique, gifted, and beautiful. Of course, no one cries for the runway tall person, but I got bullied and called names growing up.
hey I'm 4'11 and done growing she's not too bad
Ashlee Dixon 4'9 here and happy. 😉
Ashlee Dixon I am 4'11 and I embrace it. 🙂
yes, me too lol
haha my aunt is 4'9 and my mom is 4'11! I am 5'1 and the tallest girl in my family
Ashlee Dixon
I'm 4'9
Sitting here with a broken ankle feeling sorry for myself, then this pops up on my feed. Changes your perspective quick. What I'm going through is nothing compared to the pain she indured. Made me cry.
honestly if I was a dwarf I would embrace it . I would go full hobbit and live in a hole in the ground.
Romanov :D
ikr!
So... Right now you live under a bridge?
loool shots fired
That's fucked up.
I'm only 4'9" and always hated being smaller than everyone else when I was growing up, but now as an adult I actually like it. It makes me unique.
There are plenty of little people that are independent and live full and happy lives on their own.
The issue here was the disproportionately short limbs. She's still very short, but can now reach a sink, reach her hair, put on shoes etc.
I'm 5'10 and I've had to have my legs broken and reset but it was so I would have the ability to walk. It was the most painful thing imaginable so I can't even comprehend what she must have gone through
Even though I watched this I don't recall them saying how much taller she is now ... I thought they said 8 inches taller but now I'm not so sure and I scrolled through again and can't find it
Good for you Tiffany! I wish you and your family all the best
What an amazing family and wonderful husband she has. So happy she's living life to the fullest!
Another woman where 6 inches isn't enough...
Michael Parker o jeezus
LMAO!
When I was a baby the midwife/doctor wanted to do this to my legs as I was "short" my mum never went back to her and at 14 I'm 5"4 and I'm fine with my height cause I'm not small and I'm not like 6" but I'm glad she's happy with herself 😊
Briony Joseph I'll be 30 in January and you're taller than me by an inch!
|-/
Briony Joseph lol I'm 5'4", were a normal height!
in my school you will be one of the shortest people around Im 14 in the 9th grade and im 5'3 every one calles me short.....
+BaekSoo Kim (미치고) Koreans are taller than most Asians on average. I'm 5'1" so I'd probably be the shortest person.
+Dancingqueen2700 I'm not Asian it's an Exo fan made name in African American but yea Your short like my bestie she is about 4'11
I'm glad she has a wonderful husband by her side...what a blessing!
ahhh tiffanie, you are Awesome!!!!!
I honestly think she's kind of pretty.
Your not alone....
Fucked your bitch! What has her being pretty or not got to do with anything?
SimderZ it's just a opinion
Well how magnanamus of you...? Kind of pretty..she is pretty.
Wow you're so brave for saying that.
Limb lengthening has improved since the 80s.
@@ricoflamma5430 But what we really need is a growth plate regeneration method. Hopefully stem cell research figures this out within the next decade.
??? ...... She wanted a normal life. She has got a husband whom loves her for who she is, and a son...... and she wants more?
I know.
She literlly blew the candle and said i have everything I ever wanted
“Why did you fall in love with her?” Wow, that was an offensively worded question
This girl is amazing.... good for her what a beautiful family!!
Her soul is so beautiful .. she has this innocence when she smiles! What a humble and lovely lady..❤️
by the way I thank her husband for his service
that's awesome! I support her (:
Me too =)
Sabrina Copass who cares :¬)
Jon John
well I do. soo...
Sabrina Copass fair enough
Jon John hahaha
Beautiful story and I support whatever way you want in life, but everything just safe and healthy and happy.
Lengthening surgery is an individual choice w/ both pros & cons. Her post surgical, healed results are beneficial!! What a happy story. Many blessings!!
Why does their parents choose, why can't the child choose. It's their life not their parents. You talk about it with your parents first. And it's not up to anybody else apart from yourself.
the girl did choose...the boy's dad pushed the boy into the surgery.
It has to be done before puberty when the ends of bone fuse permanently in the arms and legs- limited window of time.
Apparently it is up to others
age 8? that's sick. it was obviously her parents that put the idea in her head. i didn't know limb lengthening existed until this video
+randomness051 anyone who is abnormally short knows about limb lengthening procedure.
+randomness051 Guys I found the best website that helps me to gain my height in very short frame of time. I recommend this website to all you guys… Visit GrowTallerTechniques6.blogspot.com for more details......
+randomness051 dude I'm so happy I started at eight
She's taller than me. I was offered, but opted out of the surgery. I feel God made me 4 foot 8 inches for a reason, but for each his own.
Tay'Lor Turnipseed Amen.🌷
Tay'Lor Turnipseed Well I feel like the lord gives these opportunities to us for a reason as well
M28tan There's a difference between the lord giving us a cure to a disease and some sick twist deciding that mutilating a body is the best way to get it to do something the brain didn't tell it to do. I don't want anybody to agree with me. I know from my experience that the surgery and the longterm problems it causes- not can cause- causes, aren't worth it.
Tay'Lor Turnipseed Its all in his design anyway, the aftermath of the surgery could lead to conflict that follows that design
My 2 month old just got her vaccines and hearing her scream was incredibly heart breaking to me.I cried with her so is hard hearing your child in pain
What really bothered me is @ 3:21 someone left that drawer slightly opened. Hopefully some one closed it!
mouasimon1 haha! You got OCD too!
5:20 The way he looks at her 💕 So sweet!
So basically the moral of the story is to not push your dwarf child to have surgeries. Let ten decide and inform them of the risks.
I don't think I've ever been so happy for some stranger from some offhand YT video on a "bored" binge.
very inspiring story. no matter what pain she suffered, she was able to gain height. that is all that matters.
that's a very simplistic view. you must be very young. height is NOT all that matters. clearly, it was important to her....but it's not all that mattered out of the surgery and not all that has mattered in her life.
nowvoyagerNE it's what matters, because it's what matters to HER.
MisMediator sorry...i don't buy that either.
My uncle had a form of dwarfism but he ended being given hormones when we was really young and now he's a lot bigger. I'm 5'2 and without hormones he would've been 4'6. He does have health problems from it (mainly weight and blood pressure), but he says it was worth it.
Im 6'3 and im always at risk of drowning.
Machucando drowning? why?
@@nekozombie drowning in pussy cos my nigga is a 6 footer
Thank you for creating such a beautifully brave young woman and mother!
One guy with Dwarfism did this procedure and grew to 6'4. It was a rare reaction to the procedure. He's now a construction worker.
Proof?
it's no different than someone getting a nose job or plastic surgery.
Sean Fisher oh that's the further from the truth. She had to get EXTENSIVE physical therapy. This last yearssssss. What are you even talking about.
you can walk when u get a nose job, so there is a difference, but I see where you're coming from
This is 1 Very brave and awsome lady and she should be praised for having the strength within to put herself through the pain because it's what she wanted if more people were like her and people were as brave and strong as she is then this world would stand a chance , well done beautiful lady for having the courage to live your dream I wish you many happy times to come you deserve it .
Good for her!I dont think there's anything wrong with her having surgery.hell if people can get cosmetic surgeries to feel better about themselves.
Amazing! I am not moved by much but this got me. She didn't do it for vanity but so she could have what most of us take for granted, complete autonomy. And her husband is right, she served in her own war and survived due to amazing self-sacrifice and dedication.
She wants to be taller and she did it, very good . She is happy now .
Eric Alderman Evil liar.
What a wonderful and heart touching story. And bless that amazing miracle family.
My teacher from fifth grade was born his right leg shorter than her left leg so he went through this surgery to match his right leg with his left leg
I live down the street from her, great lady. Saw her yesterday and she’s fourteen feet tall now. So proud! Go on girl!
She is so pretty. Everyone should accept their bodies for what they are.
kk then dont get braces or ever cut your nails or hair or shave
FACEPALM.
Awh I'm all teared up by how happy she is in the end to be married with a baby and have gone through all that but still found happiness
I don't see the issue?
Roy Senpai's Fan Club I love your profile pic
Shilo Turner thx homie
Cookie dough explain
Cookie dough I know her medical problem, but I don't see the issue with her getting the surgery and how it's controversial
I think its controversial since this surgery is performed on minors. So basically the parent is making the decision for them which like the guy in this video could result in problems for life. He had to grow up with worse consequences that were not even his own decision.
5:37 what was that on the ground???
I'm a 5' 11" woman. I used to wish to be shorter. Not many guys want to date a girl taller than they are.
Oh well, count your blessings.
Count your blessings.
You''ll never be a LITTLE old lady
Limey Figdet Yes, I do every day. I like to make a gratitude list when I'm feeling down or sorry for myself. Now I just look for guys who are 6' or taller.
Pickles Don't like the short guys?
Captain Picard Not at all. Shorter guys don't like taller women, generally speaking. Not sure if they feel like it undermines their masculinity some way, or if it's a purely sexual thing that they're just into shorter women. Go on a dating site like OKCupid. A lot of the men have a max height they would be interested in set at 5'6".
I hate to watch people go through pain it makes me so sick I know she's happy now so that's good
who gives a fuck if its controversial.
thats what i said!!!!
Diego Barralez she could've died
"OMG, she's actually pretty!" (in many of the comments below). Why shouldn't she be pretty, why is it so remarkable, and why must so many people seem to believe it's unusual for someone with a challenge? Why does it even matter if she is pretty or not? I've noticed in a lot of stories, the media gives the issue A LOT more attention if the subject is an attractive young woman,
often blonde and blue-eyed.
She's fine the way she is
What a wonderful lady! Wow! Thank you for sharing this.
What a great husband she has, and beautiful little boy.
they should invest more information into the surgery so that it can be safer, I don't have dwarfism but I am short, I think everyone should have the opportunity to be at least 5'5"
Nicole A I agree
What? 5'5? I'm 5'1-5 feet and no problems lol
Maria k it's not a joke, I'm shorter than you but I have those problems
im 5.25ft, if it was safe i would've done it, to each his own, why r ppl sticking their smelly nose in other ppl's business?
What? She's the one that decided to air her business out to the world
Jemma J I'm 5'6 and since I was young I always wished I was so much shorter. Always wanted to be a short girl.
you would probably not be allowed to get the surgery anyways because you're not a dwarf. At least you're over 5 feet, I'm 4'11" and it has no effect on my independence or my life.
+Shrimp King
not allowed because it isnt safe.. otherwise it would've been like butt implant in popularity
Lisa Ilic That’s not even tall. I’m surprised there are women who want to be that small. I’m 5ft8in and I LOVE IT. I think being that height is sexy, powerful, you draw attention when walking into a room. Everyone thinks you’re a model lol. But to each their own..
This sounds horribly painful but I’m glad she’s happy.
