+acyprusb As per me the body material is good. But some people are complaining about it
acyprusb body material is thin compare to other compatitor companies...but that's it... you can live with it.... It's not that it's unsafe because of just a body material
...many other factors affect to save life in the crash....

Is there any problem with baleno's suspension?
Baleno has no cornering lights, right? Is it a problem while driving?
Yes Vivek, the infotainment video will be uploaded soon.
Suspension : I must say its not the problem but yes the suspensions are on the stiffer side, car glides over the small pot hole with ease but in some cases you easily feel thud when you ride over the pits.
Lights: No Baleno don't have the cornering lights. But in my personal opinion I never felt the need of it, or may be because I never drove a vehicle with cornering lights :)

Dear Ankit, In Baleno Alpha variant, please let me know whether the boot can be opened remotely by sitting in the driver's seat by pulling the lever similar to the petrol tank cover.

u can unlock the boot by simply tapping door unlock button from driver's seat.
Nikhil S. Thanks for your info. But it just unlock the boot and doesn't releases it from the locking position. I have observed that, in the malls and other areas most of the security personnel don't know to open the boot by pressing the switch which is in the Centre. If the boot got released through a lever similar to the petrol tank cover, then it would have been more convenient

Hi Ankit, I would like to know if the top end variant come with the Auto up power windows. That is if any of the windows are open and you lock the car using the Smart key, will the windows roll up automatically? Also I would like to know if the Side view mirrors automatically close and open when you lock and unlock the car?

I missed the last part regarding the time the smart key battery dies and we have to use the physical key hidden within the smart key enclosure.
How do we then start the car? By touching the key with start/stop button in the car?

Yes, as per car's manual we can do following things in case of smart key battery discharge:
"Without depressing the brake pedal and the clutch pedal, push the engine switch (1).
Within about 10 seconds during which the master warning indicator light in the instrument cluster is blinking and the “PLACE KEY FOB ON START SWITCH” message appears on the information display, touch the engine switch with the "LOCK” button end of the remote controller (2) for about 2 seconds. Then you should be able to select ignition modes.

There are two sensors on mirror, one is in front beside Auto button and other one is at back side of mirror.

on engine part, I can easily say i20's engine is way more better than baleno
diesel i20 is better but in pertrol baleno is better

What's the range for Keyless entry ?

First of all I want to thank you for uploading a very helpful video. I have a query regarding smart key feature of baleno as I have already booked zeta model of baleno and anxious to know more about it.
So my query is, What is the range of this smart key to lock or unlock the car. I mean suppose if you have locked the car in parking of a mall and you start walking away from it. If any thief tries to come and push the button on the door handle bar or boot opening button, will that work or security system will not allow that thief to open it.

Thanks for your appreciation. I too had the same doubt before, but after owning the car I tested it by myself, the operation range of the smart key to open the door is 80cms or 1/2 ft.
Once my friend tried to open the driver side door by pressing the keyless entry button and I was standing at the driver side headlight with the smartkey with me, he was not able to open the door, then I moved to the driver side door then only he was able to access the door.

Don't worry Bro! Nothing will happen, you can check, But remember a quick press would do nothing, and a long press could shut off the engine (without damage).

This Smart key stuff is nice and convenient, however ,i have one doubt.Assuming you have travelled somewhere and carrying only one key, is it possible for oneself to lock themselves outside the car, leaving the fob inside and locking by the small black button on the door? Does car give any warning if the keys are left inside the car?
if you leave the smart key inside the car and try to press the keyless entry button, the car will give an alert beep but wont lock the car

It depends on the location. Top end petrol with manual gear is nearly 8.75 lakhs at Chennai location.
Guys Please post your driving experience of CVT Baleno... I had booked a Zeta CVT variant but could not test drive due to non availability at dealership. So i am confused little bit. is there any rubber band effect playing? How many RPM @ 100 km/hr speed?? etc.
sorry Ashish, i am not a expert guy in this section. i never drove a cvt car so don't know how it feels like to drive a cvt. but saw in some video review that it has some rubber band effect. its very common with cvt type transmission be it baleno or jazz
I did test drive of Zeta CVT before booking the same in Sep end. Yes it has rubber band effect, you cannot expect the thrust of manual transmission (as I found out myself :-)), but the drive is smooth.

when you book your car, the Nexa assign you a relationship manager. Now its managers responsibility to update you about each n every information. They usually inform you about allocation of car 15 days prior so that you can process your loan if required.

I feel like suspension is stiff. But its not that bad as what i felt. most of the people are asking about it so there must be something wrong with it. better to experience it by yourself, take a test drive.
Okay...I think people are comparing suspension with elite i20 which provides more comfortable ride, but in comparison to swift of suzuki it is better.
Ashish Garg well....i20 gives more comfort to the passenger.... because it has soft suspension setup...but during the high-speed cornering it will make more bodyroll....baleno have stiffer suspension and it is much needed because of the lightest weight..you want it to be more stable.... advantage of having stiffer suspension is the highway ride and sharp cornering will give you much confidence....also dynemic chassis....

Before Locking or Unlocking the Car, Press the Key's Both Button together once than you can do single operation silently (Locking or Unlocking). You have to do it every time you want soundless operation of Locking or Unlocking.

I am from Delhi, I bought it in August'16, it cost me around Rs 8.13 lakhs in Delhi. I think Maruti has revised its price recently and it cost now around 8.24lk.

I have mixed driving condition while I commute to office daily, few KMs I drive in city with red lights and jams and my rest of the drive is on highway. After this its giving me between 17.5 kmpl to 18.5 kmpl.

Company claim mileage for petrol is 21 kmpl and for deisel its 27kmpl.
