Hi Ankit. Can the default navigation system can search current location and any destination place searched as found in google maps. Also would like to know if Apple car play or mobile mirroring supports google maps navigation feature. Thanks in advance
Hi +shanker jee, when ever you launch the navigation, it shows the current location. Most of the places can easily be found in the system but we have to enter the address in the form i shown in the video. We can't compare the Google map with the car's navigation system because the Google map is far far better than car's navigation system.
The apple car play has its own navigation app which is not supported in India right now.
As per my knowledge there is no Google map supported app present in mirrorlink. There are rumours about android auto will also come in baleno but so far it's not available.
Thanks Ankit. When the navigation system resets the current location, does this use any mobile data? What I believe Maruti is giving the map on sd card only.

And want to ask you can we increase the channels in FM as you know now days there are so many radio channels and in baleno there are only 6 channels.
Logan Kareezma there are 2 FM slots - FM1 and FM2 you can save 6 bands in each. One slot can only hold upto 6 channels only

Yes i feel like suspension is stiff. But its not that bad as what i felt. most of the people are asking about it so there must be something wrong with it. better to experience it by yourself, take a test drive.

Yes i am also facing same problem, but the solution as far as i identified is try to play low resolution videos. Like the video sample i played in demo is of very low resolution 320x240. For me only mp4 and AVI type videos are playing.
i have converted 480 resolution to 3gp and it plays. but 3gp is also of poor quality. anyways, please tell if you find any solution

you can set the volume level in this option. while the car is in motion you will be able to raise the volume upto that level you set in "speed dependent volume control"

Yes, the navigation system comes with Alpha model.
I booked it in Feb'16 and got it in Aug'16

I was trying to play video file of mp4 and avi type but none of them was working. Both the formats are not working. IN my video folder, there is no file shown as in your video I can see one video song in the video folder in USB section.

Buddy also what about mileage? Did you get your mileage of 20 after first service? I am getting around 12 right now before first service.

Dear ankit, in my baleno car display automatic open fm, gps, call list if connected with blue tooth. Even i showed to service center but problem still persist. Could i help me out.
Prasanna Das i have heard that and its in my car also that the FM always start playing once i start the car (if none other sources like usb, Bluetooth are available) else it will start the same music you were listening last time...but am not sure about opening gps and contact list...never heard about it
Hi... i own the same Alpha Baleno as yours... pls tell me is there any way by which we can switch the radio off because whenever I start the car the radio turns on automatically and it's irritating and I have to mute it...can't it be switched off????

Is there a slot for sd card? If there, can we insert a micro sd with adapter? I know there is one slot for sd card with maps data. But I want to know that we can use it for media player or there is an another one which we can use it for sd card with media files?
Yes, it has a slot for SD card above the lcd. Its has only one slot available and yes you can use your own card by replacing the Map data card.
Can we put the media files and map data in the same sd card? Would it be an interference to the navigation?

i am not sure we can do this, because i have read it somewhere that we can't put media files with map data. better to use pen drive :)

as far as i explored
even many mp4 and avi are not supported, that song i played in video is of very less resolution. i tried to play many mp4 and avi movies but we can only see them in list but when you click on it, it wont play. there was an avi movie in which the video was playing no audio was there. i am not sure if its a problem with my device only or its an expected behaviour.

No, the video cant be played while drive. You will be able to play the video but the video will be blacked out with a warning, and you will be able to hear only audio.
