Dawn dish soap helps me with aphids outdoors. I just do a light sprinkling over my geraniums, hibiscus and flower gardens. Then rinse well with a good watering. It will suds up a bit, but it keeps aphids away.

I think they revert on a lot of people. Have you tried to cut back behind the last verged leaf to get into the area where it was variegated. Thats what I had to go with my krimson queen. Once I cut back behind the last variegated leaf, it stopped giving me white leaves. It took awhile, but it’s given me a perfect leaf and working in its second. 😊

Could you maybe one day post pictures (on instagram?) or maybe even a slideshow type video on UA-cam of all your planty areas. Maybe you could even write a description about their growing conditions (lighting, what window?, etc) Sometimes things are going so fast in the video and you’re zooming in and out. I want to be able to really appreciate the areas AND get some ideas about how/where to place mine.

I went on vacation in October as well for 2 weeks. My husband was looking after my plants and I lost a couple of them. My begonia Queen Constellation is probably the saddest loss, but also sort of not surprising. The alocasia are looking quite bad as well, and when I arrived I was very thrown by the state of all the plants. It's been a week and I managed to pull back most of the plants, they are starting to look just as well as they did before. I didn't throw the begonia out, hoping it will come back to life. But perhaps I am overly optimistic.

For the begonia greenhouse, see if a local pet store has springtails. They eat decaying matter so they can eat mold, remove as much mold as you can then the springtails will deal with the hard to reach spots. They are very popular with terrarium builders to control mold before it spreads. They self regulate there population by amount of food and space. Don't worry they wont over take your home unless its extremely humid and moist.

for the stem support, either a draconfly clip, or if you have a clear tiny rubberband for hair could also work well and be basically invisible
So funny, my begonia maculata blooms all the time for me, i have her in lechuza pon and just chopped the longest stem off and have it propagating. It just grew so so much in summer and one stem was way longer than the other 2. I either take them to a plant swap or plant them back together.
I have to look at you setup again, because I have barinna t5 lights in my cabinet and I think it´s too bright for some of my alocasias. but I think you have them in your self as well and I don´t think my shelfs are closer together than yours, so not sure. I moved my dragon scale out to see how it´s doing in less light and I might move a few more.

I just had to chop my Gloriosum type 2 because it was pushing all white. It has virtually no stem left. 😅 luckily I was able to keep a few leaves near the bottom.

I have several thick stemmed Hoyas and I am stumped as to how to grow them.. On a trellis is almost impossible because the stems have no flexibility but the plants take up way too much space.

Do you have any issues keeping the variegation on you Jessenia pothos? I have one that I love, but her yellow fades away as her leaves harden off no matter the light I provide :( Maybe mine is a lemon haha.

My obovata sticks out every which way with long thick vines. I’ve got the vines stuck up between the slats on my bamboo stand. There’s no way to bend them.

honestly I've never tried molly's for my begonias because I like to give them a tad bit more density. I do: soil, perlite, & vermiculite for them :)
