Thanks a ton! Welcome to the channel! I reside on the western side of the state but have spent some time over in the Yakima area. Thanks again for the sub!
I heared many complained about this thin bail...have u had any issues with bail during this year...pls answer me as i want buy this reel tomorrow but im worry cause of this thin bail...thx🙏
How much LB test and what type of line ( braid ? Fluorocarbon ? Mono ? ) were you using when you hooked up to that salmon? Great to know I can use this on my salmon rod 👍
When I hooked the Chinook I was running 30 LB Power Pro Braid to a 15 LB P Line Fluorocarbon Leader! I tend to run 20Lb leader now a days though. Thanks for watching!
The max line for braid is 15lb. So u can put 30lb braid in this reel? Cause i just bought one of this. I just wonder what max lb braid i can put in this thing?
@@0000Buloy0000 there is no "max" concerning pound braid, only capacity. So for the regal 2500, max capacity for 15lb braid is 185yds. You can put 30lb braid except your going to lose just a little bit of the amount of yardage of line on your spool, which is no biggie since we aren't deep sea fishing with this reel...at least I hope you aren't ;) Hope that clears that up for you👍
I have the 2500D 29.6 per turn xh 34.5 I have thrown everything from bait with 3/8oz weight to 5/8oz spinners and cought everything from half pounders to 13 pound salmon using 6lb 8lb pound Berkeley or kastking mono and it does everything I need really smooth I'm going to get another maybe 3000 or xh next time but I'll never regret buying this one
thats what i want to know, I'm currently looking at both. Honestly I'd say yes. The Regal 2500 has more bearings and the 2500XH (as opposed to the 2500D) has a 6.2:1 gear ratio where the President is 5:1.
As far as I am concerned, yes you can you this reel in the salt. It's my dedicated Salmon reel so it sees salt water quite often. Just make sure to give it a good rinse in fresh water afterwards! Tight Lines!!
Just bought one and I’m ready to try it out I couldn’t find anything at this price that seemed to be well built

@@eftichiosarchontakis3249 xh mean high gear ratio. whitout xh it is normal ratio (5,3:1) and this slower iis more durable. i prefer whitout xh
Cool channel.... just stumbled across it. I was born and raised in Yakima Valley now living in Missouri.

Hello friend. There are two models, the 2500D-XH and the 2500 right? which is the best? Thank you very much, stay healthy

what size rod did you pair it with? I have a 7' m-f, not sure to go for the 2500 or 3000 for bass
If I am fishing for bass I pair the 2500 with a 7ft medium action rod. I've found that the 2500 size is plenty for Bass.
Nice video.
Is this better than the Pfueger President in your opinion?

size 3000c and 2500 is the same.. only spool size is a bit bigger on 3k
can this be used in saltwater?

You can use any reel for saltwater if you maintain it properly.
