These are light and tough (LT) which you aren't casting a ton for carp, you are toss and sit. Get a heavier reel (penn or pfleuger or okuma) where you don't care if it's 1/2 oz lighter
The plastic washers are for adjusting the line lay on your Spool in case it is not laying right

Most spinning reels come with the adjustment washers.
Henry 69 i have like 7 spinning reels and the daiwas are the only ones that came with the washers.

Is this reel (the 3000D-C version) also suitable for carp fishing on the surface and float fishing for carp? Or does it have too much flex?
I've never caught a carp, so I wouldn't know.

Revros is a bad reel all around
I think they are the same other then the regal being lighter and more bearings. I would spend the 10$ more on the regal

I have one of these and I ruined it with sand :/. Do you think I could fix it?
Take all the parts out and rinse or wipe them off and lubricate, the same thing happened to me and I fixed it after several cleans
