Wow!!! Loved this one! So fun to see you "name it and claim it" right there on the fly!!! That was really great! Love the cooking too, y'all surely eat well!!! ❤❤❤
Don't doubt your confidence, all of your content just exceeds the expectations.. We're in Gatlinburg this weekend..I loved your holiday Gatlinburg,Tn videoss!!
Great video Brant! Lots of catching going on and I love the water camera shots even if it was getting slammed. Lol. That stuffed flounder looked absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing!!!
Can’t wait to try this. Flounder is one of my favorite fish to eat as well. Thank you for sharing. Also, thank you for all the hard work and time you put in to educate and entertain us. God bless! 🙏
Signed up already and cant wait. Never fished a tournament before. Now all I have to do is get my employee's to show up so I can actually fish on my days off.
Love the content. Awsome channel. I especially like that you show what you're using the bait you're using. The whole nine yards. So next time I come down from North Georgia to the beach, I have an idea of what to use and how to use it. It really helps a fresh water fisherman like myself. Thanks for sharing.
I love fishing, but don't eat seafood. I wish I did. But for some reason I love watching the clean and cook portions as well, even though I wouldn't eat it.
Brant man seriously no wonder you made a living guiding people... That was impressive man that you were able to call it out and then hook up and land a flatty. Over here on the mid East Coast Titusville area it is few and far between to say the least. I appreciate all the hard work and videos Man looking forward to coming to Beach Bum
If you just had flounder fillets, and you made that stuffing, could you possibly layer it in between the fillets and bake them that way? Would they come out tasting pretty much similar with obvious stuffing coming out more from not being inside something? I was kind of just thinking about it while watching the video. I've got some flounder fillets in the freezer that are pretty fresh but I want to use them soon for something different.
For easier scaling of the flounder use one of those classic wooden handle wire brushes for a barbeque pit fastest ive ever scaled one aside from with a pressure washer
I don't get tired of saying it: Pensacola gave me great surprise when I fished there. Having fishing the gulf down in Sarasota and Tampa Bay area, I expected the same poor results and boy, I was wrong!
Great job with the catch and cook - I know that feeling to leave NW Houston at 5am and barely start fishing at 8am - specially when you go across to Bolivar side - coming back waiting for the ferry was brutal - but then again it was on the weekend- tight lines - PuraSal Angler 🙌🏻
I'd take the blue fish home in a heartbeat! Don't know why people don't like them. Once I had them in Atlantic City back in the early '80s at a restaurant near the beach, and I don't know what they did with it but it was delectable!
I must be weird but I actually really enjoy hard head catfish. I grew up in Missouri where all we really had is catfish and learned to clean them by cutting the meat off the skin, leaving the red vein and gray meat behind. Your left with white meat thats very neutral in flavor and takes to seasoning very well. I guess I can look forward to that when I move out there one of these days.
Good video! Although I've never seen anyone scale a flounder or fluke. Not saying good or bad, but they're prized for their fillets. I got to tell you though, it looked amazing cooked, especially the presentation!
Brant try using a spoon to scale your it works great for bluegill, crappie and the like. The scales actually roll ahead of the spoon. Plus inexperienced people like kids and young ladies that don't usually clean fish.
Bro, you cleaned and prepped that flounder same way as I do here in Louisiana... only difference is I add a bit of crawfish with the crab stuffing. Awesome job brother!
Are you putting some sort of cloth between your line and finger when casting out? Last year beach fishing in Florida I had all sorts of line cuts from casting heavy baits and weights from the beach.
Can you show a clear in person video of how you find the fishing hole on the surf. Like stop pause, stop pause and highlight what it looks like. Love your videos and keep it pushin!
If you use a wire brush is the easiest way to scale a flounder. I love watching all your videos. I look for you videos everyday, also Bama Beach Bum and Bearded Brad's!!!!!
So if I were to just enter the tournament but decided not to fish, I'd still get all the giveaway stuff that goes with it? Would you ship that if I were to send the $35 in, or do I have to pick it up at one of those weigh stations? I'm a little far out I think to fish in the tournament, where I live being in Jacksonville.
Another great video. Man, I wanted to jump in the screen and taste that stuffed flounder! You do such a great job promoting the natural beauty of Pensacola Beach. Where else can you find such pristine white sand? Also nice to see more of your handsome face not covered up by your usual burka. 😂
Great video again. Question… weigh station in Navarre. Is that Halfhitch bait and tackle? I don’t know of Holley bait and tackle. I plan to join the fun.
Brant, I’ll be down there in a few weeks for 4 days of fishing. One day charter and the other 3 I hope to mimic you on the beach, pier and maybe around some docks or bridges for some mangroves. Do you think there would be any sheepshead hanging around and if so are the fiddlers in stock?
Sign up for tournament here surffishingclassic.com
Can some Tennessee boys get in on the tournament even if we only fish the week we are on vacation
Can you sign up if you’re from Nova Scotia?

One your best videos, especially the cook part 👍

Everything looked great on the fish that you prepared except for the lemon juice at the end 👍
Great job, Brant! Thanks for the video
We miss being able to flounder gig in NC OBX each summer on our family vacation. Such a tasty fish!
Brant try using a spoon to scale your it works great for bluegill, crappie and the like. The scales actually roll ahead of the spoon. Plus inexperienced people like kids and young ladies that don't usually clean fish.
cool technique for cleaning the flounder. ill remember that
Excellent move to throw Sam shaddy in the hole Wish I was at your house eating that awesome stuffed flounder!!! Great job chef!!!🎉

Bro, you cleaned and prepped that flounder same way as I do here in Louisiana... only difference is I add a bit of crawfish with the crab stuffing. Awesome job brother!

Great job Bro,, That dish looks💯💯💯
Are you putting some sort of cloth between your line and finger when casting out? Last year beach fishing in Florida I had all sorts of line cuts from casting heavy baits and weights from the beach.
Yes. I do it because I got tired of cutting myself
Are those walleye tournament guys banned from the pompano tournament? Lol
Headed to Destin next week. Can’t wait.
Great job! Thank you!

Very nice catch and cook! Good job!
Love is like the leaf, the neglected green in, appeared in the bud in patience.
If you use a wire brush is the easiest way to scale a flounder. I love watching all your videos. I look for you videos everyday, also Bama Beach Bum and Bearded Brad's!!!!!
What setups were you using? I'm looking for some decent setups for surf fishing.
My favorite fish dish!!!!!!
Good place to finishing
Experience shows there Brant knowing what that hole would hold . Tasty fish 😊😊😂
Nice call on the Flounder!
Will you ship the swag bag if I pay the fee for tournament? ?
There is an option to select shipping
I learned some stuff! Thanks!
Time can heal a broken heart, but time can also break a waiting heart.

Yes. There is a shipping option you can select
As long as we two people together, even if the sea fishing will feel very romantic.

Great video again. Question… weigh station in Navarre. Is that Halfhitch bait and tackle? I don’t know of Holley bait and tackle. I plan to join the fun.
Holley bait and tackle is the new tackle shop in Navarre. It’s different than half hitch
Thank you I’ll check it out. Where Y’At Seafood next door is pretty dang good.
Man did you call the one brother Brandt! Great flounder
Just an awesome video. Way to call your own shot
Might be some sheepshead starting to show up. Should still be reds, pompano and mangroves for sure. October is a good month
Someone should have fiddlers
Damn bro you called it!
what reel are you using?
Angler up are you gonna do any hunting videos again?
Possibly this winter
@@AnglerUpTv sounds good
My wife actually prefers the bottom side of a flounder !
What about South West Florida?
Man! Now THAT is a fish!
Name of the black reel?
It said toadfish on the reel. It looks like the reel that comes with their spinning combo for $150
@@dexterrobinson4065that’s correct
It looks like it’s got crabs! 😂
That flounder looked great. Easier to clean in some ways.. all the bones gone in one swoop
Those Blue Jays, man... everytime
Don’t believe the Weather Man Brant, he will get you in trouble!😂

It wasn't a door mat but a real nice flatly.

Do catfish from the ocean not fry up good? The are delicious from lakes.
Not as good as freshwater cats
