14:40 that’s SO COOL brother!!! You’re helping to create amazing memories for that little boy and his dad!!! God bless you brother!!! You’re a great guy!! Keep doing your thing man!!!
My wife and I tried this recipe with Salmon. My wife who isn't a seafood person thought it was delicious. I really enjoyed it as well! Thanks for the tip.
Miss the beach fishing there. I was stationed there 20 years ago. Still have my first surf rod I bought to learn to fish the ocean from the beach. Great times. Great content. Was in Bakers Florida couple years ago. Never got the time to hit the fish scene. Actually did some house searching around Pensacola. Still so many places not repaired from the hurricane. Hope to be there one day for good.
You may not be keeping up with the sand fleas, but I think that was a record size!!! Loved seeing your Pop and the youngest Peached fisherman!!! Nice to get them started early...I know my boys really enjoyed my Dad, he really loved sharing his love of fishing with them!!!! Sweet memories!!! Thanks, Brant!!!❤❤❤
Great video! 👍 What i recommend on cooking them Pompanos, and before you place all that delicious cheese, is putting some of them sliced up butter inside them slips that you to cut into the fish. 😉
Outstanding video, and outstanding recipe. I've been a subscriber of yours for many a year. And I'm not surprised with the quality of this presentation, yet again. Well done!
I fried walleye for dinner last night , I hope your pompeno fish was as good as my walleye ! I would have to go to school to learn all the rules on all the different fish you guys have in the salt water ! I always learn something from you videos that will come in handy if I ever get that way to fish the beach ! It was good to see the little guy get a taste of fishing,, gotta start them young ! 8 )
It was rough without the wind you said was coming. Anyway loved the catch with that child. All I can say about this video is Bravo! That kid will remember what you done/let him do the rest of his life!! Good job sir! Ready for another video
Wow!!!who says they don't like pomps???it's some of the best white meat you can eat from the sea, there just trolls buddy,I tell you what, that panco or bread crumbs you added is what I use "panko" lol when I bake my fish,it does add a lot to the fish, thanks for another awesome catch, clean and eat vid, coming from tarpon springs Florida
I'm from West Michigan, just came back from Hutchinson Island, was hoping to fish from the beach. Strong east winds, was not possible to beach fish. Although I fished the Indian River, caught my first ever Jacks, a Spanish mackerel and some Mangrove snapper
Around age 13, summer house on marshy Cape Cod bay, near Barnstable, I walked way out, solo, at low tide to do the usual exploring and shellfish scavenge hunt in the stinky muck. Felt like I was a 1/4 mile out, water shin deep, and I full on stepped into a person-sized hole, in over my head, no bottom I could feel. All I could think of was the giant astroid monster the Millennium Falcon had landed in/escaped from. Augh!!! I'd had American Red Cross aquatic life saving course my mom had made me do a year prior (good thinking!) so floundered myself up out of the bottomless muck hole, while dead certain that toothy serpent was about to pull me down for dinner. Watch those holes!!
Since I was a child, people have talked about certain fish that are not good to eat, but for me, over a lifetime, it seems most fish ARE good, if served fresh. A general rule, but a good one I think.
Hey! Great video. My family is in Pensacola Florida right now and as you stated, the pier is closed. Any other suggestions on where to fish. I also bought your mastery class.
Hey Brant, what's going on with the fish down there, spinning and disoriented. I know it's in certain areas but curious if you or the guys have seen it. Great vid btw
@anglerup with brant idk what ur talking about but those hard heads taste amazing if made correctly maybe it’s just me but those saltwater cats are pretty dam good
Ive heard some people say they taste like mud if caught in brackish water, and other people get offended if you eat them cause they are a fresh water tournament fish. I actually got my butt chewed by a coworker when i showed him a picture of a bass i caught out of lake chicamauga

I want to fish that type of water that u go fishing .but here in meghalaya india we only have river and stream no beach and only love to fishing #Mahseer
I dont understand why people bleed theire fish , but then the wait until the next day after the guts have begun to rot to clean them . I would think gutting the fish would be priority .
The way you treat people is great and genuine next to expert beachfishing that makes it so much nicer than just catching fish
I’ve heard he’s actually not very nice in person off camera lol..
Used to live on the east coast. Now in Kansas. I can smell the sea and sand watching your videos. Thank you.

Very cool that your nephew got to experience that. I've been trying to get my 4-year-old in the fishing but he doesn't have the patience for it LOL.
That's awesome you got your nephew and dad in the action. Great to watch!
I really appreciate you showing fishing in windy conditions. Most of us (me) stay home when it's so windy. Good to see it's great to go fishing...

You earned it today. Another great video. Wouldn’t have thought you could catch anything in that wind

Great video Brant! Keep um coming!
Saya suka spot dan mancing ikan nya
Enjoy your videos very much Brant…from here in NZ. 😀😀
Was that the superhero "Brant" I saw on the front cover? Go Brant!!!
Maybe you have tried it. I use a large shallow, about 4in deep, pan. Put the fish underwater to scale it, keeps scales from flying around.
Nice size Pompano!! 🤙😃
Fred is up here in Minnesota. I saw him yesterday, but the frogs are still hibernating. He may head back south.
Since I was a child, people have talked about certain fish that are not good to eat, but for me, over a lifetime, it seems most fish ARE good, if served fresh. A general rule, but a good one I think.
Champagne & Pompano- Johnny Rocco's favorite meal -"Key Largo" movie

Totally agree with the hardhead catfish being nasty. Do you keep sailcats? I can't remember you cooking any of them.
I just ate a pomp for the first time one of my favorites rivals mahi in my opinion
good day brother !! inspire us all

Looks yummy!!
Brandt, do you keep the kitties for shark bait or other fish bait? or are the other fish smart so that they leave them alone???
I love your stuff ngl ur one of the main reasons I fish
Appreciate you watching
The catfish (hard heads) are full of iodine too!
Pompano is good smoked too
Fred was hanging out with me down the road.
Hey Brant, what's going on with the fish down there, spinning and disoriented. I know it's in certain areas but curious if you or the guys have seen it. Great vid btw
Great video! No way I'm eating hardheads either.

Do you still do the charter boat
If it’s a catfish I’m going home!! I say that a lot 😂
Ive heard some people say they taste like mud if caught in brackish water, and other people get offended if you eat them cause they are a fresh water tournament fish. I actually got my butt chewed by a coworker when i showed him a picture of a bass i caught out of lake chicamauga
Where else do you think Fred would be at spring break? He’s with Frida
That's why we wear chest waders surf fishing you don't get wet ..
Hard heads taste just like fresh water catfish. They just don’t have enough meat
Mi going down to Pensacola in June does anyone know any good fishing spots for a beginner.

What is your favorite filet knife brand?
Red sky by morning, sailor take warning
Red light at night, sailor delight. 👍
pompano is delicious... Who on this planet wouldn't like the way they taste!?
Red sky at morning, sailors take warning
Been in Florida for going on 7 years and have yet to catch a pompano
I dont understand why people bleed theire fish , but then the wait until the next day after the guts have begun to rot to clean them . I would think gutting the fish would be priority .
lol, did you just complain about getting wet while standing in the water already....?
First time watching one of your videos in at least two years…. Same…. Sucks!!!
I like your channel but quir with the phony shark fins. It really hurts your credibility, and it's unnecessary.
I wanna catch a great white shark. I just want the teeth.
I don't know if I can believe a word you say ? You drive a Nissan !
To me a vehicle is just something that gets me where I’m going. I don’t really have a preference one way or the other.
