No talking, just walking. Exploring the English Countryside. A nice gentle walk around New Mills Town. Quite the nostalgic walk for me to film! New Mills is my hometown, and it was a pleasure to finally get to film here at last! Starting off at Marsh Lane, going through the church yard, down along the main road, a bit on the canal, before heading down the Torrs and back into town again and just generally all over the place. There will be a future video fully exploring and showcasing the Torrs. I hope you enjoy my hometown, this is a lovely morning walk. Do enjoy :)

About Dave's Walks
Hi there, I‘m Dave! I've lived in the English Countryside all my life, and I love it! I enjoy walking, and couldn’t help but notice just how beautiful the UK can be away from the cities. I found myself inspired and decided to get some camera equipment and make some walking videos so I can share my walks of the beautiful countryside with everyone!
I will mainly focus on small towns, villages, picturesque landscapes, rolling hills and mountains, forests and canals, all along the coastlines in England, Scotland, Wales, and who knows maybe one day further afar!
I upload every Sunday 11.45am GMT (3.45am PST) (6.45am EST) (5.15pm IST) (9.15pm ACST)

It really does help me so much! Not just coffee but also things like petrol, car maintenance, overnight stays in places, parking tickets, admission and entry fees to places I wouldn’t normally go to, it really does go a long way helping me make content for everyone!

I use the free version of Davinci Resolve 16 to do some really basic editing. Mainly making sure the sky isn't over exposed. It's from Camera straight to UA-cam. No cuts, no fancy business, no talking, just walking.

Thank you Dave for all the effort and time you put into these. Another great one, that really pushes the treadmill walk as well. Love it.

Never even heard of New Mills until I came across your video Dave. Visited today. What a gem of a place. Thank you!
so many wonderful things to see on this beautiful sunny and verdant morning walk. thank you dave for bringing us along to see all the loveliness and charm of the british countryside.
It was a pleasure to bring this one to you! It was nostalgic to film this one having grown up in this town. 😊
you lucky thing! what a wonderful place to grow up in! (i just realized what that sly little emoticon face is for. you’re funny.)
Haha, it is my go to emoticon, I only use it as I like the rosy red cheeks, I don't easily blush.. 😊
Cheers Dave! I definitely need to venture out of London one of these days. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! I would certainly recommend the Peak District!😊
Wow Dave, this town turned out to be a real mixed bag of licorice allsorts. You could spend a good week, just wandering around, exploring the plethora of different experiences. 2 hours walking barely picks the eyes out of this one.
The sheer amount of effort to construct all the stone infrastructure is astounding. All this in just one town.
The little clearing by the ruins of Torr Mill, down on the river look like a great place to have a quiet picnic. Just chill out with the ruins, the river and all the stonework.
Probably my favourite of all places! Spent all my childhood living in New Mills. It just has such a unique landscape and history. With the town up above and the 2 converging rivers down below in the gorge with the weirs and ruined mills, and the numerous giant stone bridges criss-crossing all around, with train tracks also just perfectly integrated with everything..
Superb fantastic ⭐🌟💫
Thanks 🤗
That bridge walk across from the mill - stunning.
Ah yes, the Millennium Walkway. I remember walking across it for the first time when I was 12! I would just run back and forth across the whole thing! It was quite the big deal when it opened!
Dave, you grew up in such a pretty area! Thank you for showing us around.
Wow! Such a nice walk! And so looong too!! Nice!
I do love a good long walk! 😊
What beautiful sights! My dream. Thanks for your clips.
Glad you like them Thị Hà Hồ!
Beautiful walk. Love these English villages and such great views. Loved looking down at the river and then making our way down there. -H
Thanks for visiting😊
Beautiful 💚
Wow, so beautiful countryside. Thank for sharing, new friend here
Thanks and welcome😊
Thanks for the video. I lived in New Mills from 1977-2005. A very comprehensive film, full of memories. Thanks again.
Glad you enjoyed it Danny!
That's interesting. I've been to New Mills many times but I've never actually seen the place. In the early eighties we used to have a train service that terminated at New Mills and we'd ask everybody to get off, then we'd draw out of the station, cross over and work back to Sheffield. Some people would ignore the announcement to change and then try to blame us for not taking them on to Manchester. From your video the place isn't anything like I imagined it to be, you must have been shattered after that walk.
It was quite the walk, After filming this, I managed to film another 2 videos that morning! 28,000 steps that day. I got home and spent the rest of the day in the hot tub! A worthy day!
Dave ,děkuji za tvé procházky, pro mě je to krásný Relax🌿😉👍🏰🏚
Jsem ráda, že si procházky užíváte a odpočíváte!
Gosh how I enjoy Dave's Walks. I hope to someday be able to do this often if I am every successful to move to England. What a joy it is to watch thses.
Glad you enjoy the walks Diana! 😊👍
Goood
Great views
Thanks😊
What an amazing looking town . I really love these thoughtful and QUIET walks . Incessant yakking and or someone else's idea of good music is not my idea of a good time .
Agreed! I also very much do not like incessant yakking!
Complicated topography! Fascinating place! You must be a lot fitter than me!
Always loved the topography New Mills, the Town up sitting above the ruins, rivers and trees below.
My home town, proud to be a "Miller" as we are known round here.
Lots of lovely walking can be done around here hope you enjoyed 👍
Very much a Miller myself Andy! It was great coming home to New Mills to film! I hope to capture many of the walks at some point! 😊
Please visit Yorkshire, so many more pretty villages there, with countryside all around
Its on my long to do list is Yorkshire! One day, im sure I'll get the opportunity and I shall seize it! 😊

👍👍❤❤🌲❤❤✌✌
hi dave its me again////iv,e solved it,,,,youve got a built in radar////
Not exactly a village walk , I visited new mills some 50 years ago and it was so much nicer and quainter in them days. Would rather look at some older parts of new mills, that's if there are any left of course. These looks like a lot of new builds which are unimpressive.
Agreed. Not so villagey anymore..
hello dave//you really seem to like grave yards,, me at 75 do my best to avoid them,,[ if you get my .drift////]
I find them to always be peaceful places.
Never even heard of New Mills until I came across your video Dave. Visited today. What a gem of a place. Thank you!
