Yep. Our favourite nancy boys' videos are certainly on a different level to the usual "GEE WHIZZ MOM! LOOK AT THAT!!!" style inflicted on the audience by our American Brethren. That, and the limited blocking off of the beautiful scenery by excess narcissistic "Selfies", really make viewing this series most enjoyable and a great way to relive past holidays. Or plan ahead if you have never had the good fortune to have had the opportunity to explore the Old Dart before. 😉😊 Just watching movie scenes (like say the little girls running through the bluebells along the Beck in "Fairy Tale - A True Story") takes me back to a walk along a Yorkshire stream with trout and a similar understorey many years ago.
So true indeed. The presenter’s voice is the best to listen to all day and night. His voice is perfect for sleep mediations. All the lovely places he has shared with us are so pleasant and peaceful, especially the old country villages of England.
My wife and I spent many happy weeks cycling through the Dales on our trips to the UK in the "70s and "80s. Your video brings back some wonderful memories.
Yes we didn’t mind it to much, I think overall during our week there we got off lightly! Is nice to see the different moods of the sky and how it affects the scenery.
thank you so much from a grateful viewer and lover of Great Britain….it’s people, history, and countryside, not to mention tea.🇬🇧♥️from Pearland, Texas🙏🏼♥️
What a pleasure it is to watch your videos I could watch them all day.your channel is by far one of my favourites you’re a true professional thank you thank you thank you
Fantastic filming & presentation. The stories behind the various properties & historic perspective is a great addition. Thank you for all the efforts & professionalism in this 👏👏👏👍
Thank you so much for bringing another fabulous video of that amazing county. Affirms the view of the locals that Yorkshire is God’s own country! Looking forward to the Brontë video.
This was lovely. Thank you so much. Grassington is on everyone's list, and the lovely walk to Linton falls looks easy and a pleasant addition to a visit there. This American would love to visit Yorkshire. I was sad th see the Green Dragon was closed due to operating costs.
This is stunning videography and so we'll presented. Lucky you to see the history and thank you for sharing with us. These are the places I go in my dreams! Thanks again and until next time, cheers!
What a beautiful place! Im guessing those are all cobbled streets/footpaths? The stone walls across all the paddocks are just amazing. Thanks for your excellent descriptions and filming feels like we are walking right along with you. 🙂👍 Early Sunday morning here so im sitting in bed with coffee and a cat enjoying every minute of your walkabout. cheers Cheryl
Absolutely loved this trip to the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Such informative commentary and amazing scenery. Thanks for sharing your beautiful England with us, I so look forward to your videos, the next best thing to actually being there in person.😊👍
Wow Yorkshire is so beautiful and clean! Nice camera work on this video found it very interesting as I watch the series All creatures great and small here in the states on PBS. Thanks for sharing. ❤ ❤ 👍 👍
Aaaw that was fantastic . What beautiful scenery. Lots of great picnic spots. Jane Eyre is still one of my fave reads. This series is awesome thanks guys
@@ORDEROFTHEKNIGHTSTEMPLAR13 Have you ever tried Tilsiter cheese? It is a German cheese like a Stinky Bishop cheese but hard like a cheddar. Well worth a try if you ever come across it. Usually found in German deli shops in the UK.
Goddammit now I want to go back to England. Currently in Wales cuz it's cheaper for uni, but definitely miss my home that is the English countryside 💚🏴
Lovely viewing, great reminiscing of my day in Grassington and another day at Hardraw. Thank you soo much for sharing your outings with us. Much appreciated. In Hawes and certain days you can attend sheep dog training... you must check dates and times first. We did it and its well worth the experience. Thanks again... until the next video
I absolutely loved this video, ❤️ 💖 ♥️!!!!!!! I remember reading the " All Creatures Great and Small" books by James Herriot aka Alf Wight. I inherited them from my grandmother on my mother's side, and I still have them on one of my bookshelves. Now I truly understand why Alf Wight loved Yorkshire so much. Thank you again! I'm really looking forward to seeing the next video. ☺️

Hi Donna, had no idea that was a problem but it makes perfect sense. Where it’s possible going forward (after Brontë video )I will move those to the top. 😊 thanks for mentioning it.
Thank you so much Will and Simon for an explore of this beautiful area. So much history to enjoy, so much to offer in the present. The viaduct was impressive. When you told of the lives lost to build it, it’s rather sobering. We often take for granted the things around us. Beautiful Airbnb btw. Looking forward to next week’s video. Stay well.❤️🇨🇦
It may also be worth mentioning that Askrigg in North Yorkshire, was the location for the original 1970's series of All Creatures Great & Small..... Askrigg still retains much of it's charm, with few newer buildings. The Crown Inn pub in Askrigg serves truly excellent food....
Hello, congratulations on your videos, they are wonderful, keep them up, I am passionate about Great Britain, I love to see the landscapes and towns that you show. Bye!
This has just come up and what a lovley surprise. It was wonderfull to see Grassington.myself my Sister and her Hubby have spent some lovley holidays in Grassington in self catering it is such a delightfull place .we went before all creatures great and small were filmed there.i would love to go again but sadly i lost my Sister last year and her hubby is getting on so unless there is a trip there im unable to go back but i can still remember the happy times there. We went to Skipton on the service bus and the views were stunning i just kept saying "isent it beautifull "so many times that a lady got off the bus and thanked me for saying how much i loved her area.if anyone goes to Thirsk i can recomend going to the Herriot museum it realy is fantastic.thank you for this ive just subscribed and look forward to other films.

Lovely video , so relaxing to watch. What amazing scenery. I would love to visit sometime. I know all about sharing the road with farm machinery as I live where they grow sugar cane. Just loved your video so I had to subscribe.
I so enjoyed seeing the locations from this current series of All Creatures. Thank you for ferreting them out, including the pub that was closed. I love seeing all of the stone walls and buildings. The little shops are charming...so different from what we have here. I loved your Jane Austen series, and am excited to see your Bronte Country video next. Sorry you missed your cheese. :)
Yes was disappointed to miss the cheese but I guess as the weather was not so good people were looking for things to do indoors. We drove around for almost half an hour to try and find somewhere to park but no luck 😩
Oh what beautiful places in the Yorkshire Dales. Some of my family came from the Nidderdale area. I am here in Nebraska, though I would love to visit there, I don't see it happening. Your video is taking me there, and I thank you.
Well done - nicely shot & edited with good voiceover and contextual information. My ancestors left Yorkshire seven generations ago but it certainly is part of my DNA - and I have spent great times in this area and over to the Lakes when over to work in television. Many thanks.
I'd love to have a snack and a pint at an old fashioned pub. And I love cheese. I've never had Wensleydale cheese, but I once did enjoy a real English cheddar I bought at a "Trader Joe's" grocery store years ago. I wonder if the surrounding wild country was the locale of a favorite childhood book, "The Secret Garden".
Absolutely gorgeous! 💗 I've watched 3x's and will watch again tonight (with no interruptions - hopefully!) Thank you both so much - we get to travel with you - without the big ticket prices 😀 cannot wait for the next one..... Hugs from New Hampshire 🇺🇸
