1 - Please show stopping distance in meters for each car. No program shows this
2 - Show from behind to see who breaks first or on time based on break lights.
They could also step up and use/show Vbox data. An inexpensive but far more accurate solution which could easily be supplemented with the entertaining reaction-time- and competition-biased comparison.
What else do you need? just draw the line and see the result from, why waste money for a device that you can just observe.

Of course the lightweight model 3 would win, so I feel like it's unfair to shit on the audi. Audi software locked the acceleration to make it capable of doing continuous launches, whilst the tesla can do 2 or 3 before needing to cool down. Individual preferences, I both love the model 3 and the etron.

All 3 models. All performance models. The new Raven update has made the Model S and X quicker than before and this has gone under the radar of Journo's who are still living in the P100D days
would be cool, but the difference between 3P vs raven ludicrous is 0.9 seconds for 1/4 mile, you can see it on dragtimes website.
But its hard to know what 0,9 seconds over 1/4 mile looks like of course.
I did some 1/8 mile racing in 3P and after 7,4 seconds I got 150,5 km/h. So its quite ok.
That was with not full battery and +12C outside, dry conditions. So if it was warmer or I had higher SoC, I would of course go faster.
We all know who would win tho probably. Model s, x, then 3

Taycan is a high end drivers car though, they weren't after quick sprints, or mass sales, sustained performance, and prestige i feel like it's what they were going for, tesla and porsche aren't in the same segment at all.
@@dnkayto you are absolutely right... Taycan is for Porsche lovers exclusively which is why it is similar in experience for them... But if a car is worth close to 200000 dollar, then it should beat model X or model 3 at the least...
@@zainasani2206 Maybe. Testing the Taycan against the Model X is a little bit like testing it against a dump truck or a mini van. It's a very different car. BTW, there are PLENTY of cars that cost a fortune but aren't as fast as a Tesla M3P. People will pay a lot for exclusivity, or style, or opulent interiors; all kinds of things. Within reason, performance isn't everything.

Александър Тренчев Spoken as someone who doesn't own one. I've had my Model 3 for 9 months now and have put on 37,000 miles since then. I've had zero problems with build quality and haven't had to do anything to the car.
The one time it needed service (charge port was acting up at superchargers), I simply drove to the service center where they pulled the logs, diagnosed the issue, replaced the charge port since it was throwing some errors, and had me on my way in less than 45 minutes. I didn't have an appointment for any of this either. So the one experience I had with service has been excellent.
I had many concerns regarding reliability and service/customer support before ordering, but now that I've owned the car for a while I can say that without a doubt there is nothing to worry about. The Model 3 is simply fantastic.
and they lose money on every car they sell, have never made a profit in the 15 years they have been in production, I dunno about Jag and Audi but I doubt they are selling their cars and making a loss on each one they sell.
I love EVs, but the Tesla is just SO far ahead from everyone else in the market. These contests are unfair 😂

Keen Colios well you are not wrong, those are very comfortable car seats in the Chrysler. Does not change my point that compared to the cars in this comparison the Tesla is most certainly the most Comfortable, I have only been in the Jag and the Model 3 but just the specs and video reviews agree, it is something you need to experience. My father sold his Lincoln MKZ for model 3, way better cargo capacity tbh.

Tesla does not use “German” seats and literally their seats are larger, more comdortable, more adaptable than any German cars I have been in. Not only that if you search on google you will find that Tesla’s are destroying Germany’s market like crazy because people are sick of overpriced basic cars that may have great German engineering in them but fall apart, breakdown, too small, unergonomic designs. I laughed when my uncle said his Mercedes GLC was comfortable, I prefer a Rav4 interior to it for 60k less.

It's amazing how a newcomer company like Tesla is disrupting major legacy car manufacturers. The Model S came out only 7 years ago while these other guys have been around for decades.

Being fast 0-60 and the quarter is no "trick". It's a metric that all cars have been measured against for decades. But now since Tesla kicks ass in it, you want to claim it's a "trick". You're salty because it kicks the shit out of most of your gas mobiles.
Not to worry though, this is just round 1 of electric cars. Gas cars has been around for over 100 years. The Model S has been out for only 7 and here we are today.
Hate to see how you act 7 years from now when there won't be a gas car on earth that will be able to compete with these electric monsters. But hey, you can go hug mama for comfort.

You'll absolutely love it! What I love about it, it gets even better AFTER you buy it. Tesla keeps pushing over the air updates to your car that improves it. They added sentry mode, dog mode, games, better braking...to name a few after purchasing the car last year.

The problem with the Audi E-tron and Jaguar I-Pace is their top speeds are 125mph compared to the Model 3's 168mph
The problem is they weigh 700 to 1000 pounds more.
There is more problems with etron and ipace. For example the fact that they are electron guzzlers. And what is up with those grills?

Of course the lightweight model 3 would win, so I feel like it's unfair to shit on the audi and other brands. Audi software locked the acceleration to make it capable of doing continuous launches, whilst the tesla can do 2 or 3 before needing to cool down. Individual preferences, I both love the model 3 and the etron.

@@tbnzet yeah that's a new update that made the drivetrain more efficient. The x and s are still relying on old architecture and cannot do more than 3-4 launches. The S even needs about 15 mins to warm up before you're able to use the ludicrous mode. Don't take me wrong, I'm not against tesla, i literally own one.

The model S is only 0.2 sec faster anyway so the driver's reaction speed might influence the test a lot. Also, Porsche would surely beat the model 3 at the track. Teslas are notorious for having shit handling anyway, so Porsche would have a big advantage when it comes to that. Other than that, I love my Tesla.

You cant compare heavy SUVs to the lighter model 3 performance which also got more power, it makes no sense.
However, no car beats Teslas in terms of speed, so you're right with that, but speed isnt what defines a car.
If you're just a really big fan of Porsche and the interior of the Taycan Turbo S, then you might go for this car instead of a Model S P100D, even though the model S P100D looks better on paper.
