Thanks! I just want to be honest - if i try a recipe and it sucks, I want people to know it's not a good balance of effort/reward. Although these are a little eggy when eaten solo, it quickly dissipates when eaten with something such as cream cheese
I have the exact same hand mixer still. Given when I moved out from home like 29 year ago. I had tried to replace it before, but the new ones weren't the same. .
Nice job on the cloud bread. I like to freeze my bowl and whisk before making the eggs whites. Is that a good idea? My Tutu taught me that trick. And my Tutu has seen you struggle with parchment paper. She said to crumple the paper into a ball and it should fit perfectly on the baking sheet 🤙🏼. “Tutu” is Hawaiian slang for Grandma 😊
Haha now I know! Ive learned the parchment trick thanks to everyone on here. As far as making the bowl cold, thats a good question. Im not sure how the temperature would affect the ability of the proteins and such 🤔 I like to put the cloud bread in the fridge and pan heat it for about 30-60 seconds. Theyre always gone before I can freeze any 😂
W🤩W … one post and I’ve learned THREE new things! Parchment trick, Cold bowl trick (trying today) and a new term of endearment for Grandmother ‘Tutu’ 🥰🥰🥰
I made cloud bread two weeks ago and I cook some bacon and put it on top of the cloud bread and then drizzle sugar free maple syrup... It's so yummy. My recipe uses a whole block of cream cheese and when you add the sugar free maple syrup it tastes like cheese cake. So yummy! 🙂
Oh my heavens Dennis your hand mixer is as old as my mix master! I just replaced my hand mixer at Christmas otherwise we’d be neck in neck. Your mix master is sooooo pretty 😍! I’m jealous!
You guys put a lot of work in your videos I can see that. Only thing that is missing is you guys going viral through one video. I would try posting these on 9Gag or reddit or other sites like that. The community will like it and make your channel grow. Keep it up 👍😅
I post the recipes (with a link to the video) to /r/ketorecipes. I only ever want to provide value so I never post them as a 'look what I did!' lol. Thanks for watching 😃
@@BlackTieKitchen gotcha :) but if the goal behind posting it, is to share value to more people then I think it's okay . Cause finding your channel when searching for keto meals really goes under in the vast majority of videos uploaded on UA-cam. Have a nice one ✌️
True. But knowing reddit, it could turn into a downvote mob for something odd and then has the opposite effect 😂 Thanks for your support! I really appreciate it
Nowadays channels featuring recipes, have become so pretentious. I like to see how genuine your videos are. You try to make the best out of your eating choices, without devoting your life to food: which is something the market likes to encourage. Honest people are hard to find, genuine people on the internet are even harder to spot. Thanks for not selling us recipes like hype-worthy dishes, but like a nice something we can enjoy. Also how can you not cheer up with such humorous videos?
Thanks. That means a lot. I could never push something I wouldnt use - much less something that isnt practical. There'e a balance of time and value and I try to find that. Also - we're human. I ruin things all the time - it's part of cooking. It's also part of the fun and I think people should know that and embrace the failures - especially since we can usually try again rather easily 😄

Your channel is so underrated. I am happy to find your channel👍👍
Thanks!
"it's a little eggy"
this made me laugh. i appreciate including the reaction though! keep going

love your sense of humour while bringing us some keto goodness From New Zealand
Thanks! Always nice to hear from the complete opposite side of the world!
I just realized that the Cooking Network lacks a sense of humor. Never knew it needed this before.
Haha I try 😂 They take themselves too seriously and it's all gameshows now :/
Been looking forward to this all week! boopboopBoopBoopBOOP!
🔥😃
I LOVE this Guy!!!!!! ❤️ How does he not have 1 million subscribers???

Nope! Those things are beaaaaaasts
Still have mine from when I got married in 1982. Almost 40 years old. They don't make them like they used to. It still works fine.
They can go through the ringer and make it out unscathed!

why not just cut the paper to fit

Oh man, good 'ol cheese cake!
@@BlackTieKitchen yep and bacon = Heaven ❤
What s fun video, love it.
Thanks!
So is the aluminum foil a definite no? Does it react with the cream of tarter or it's just an egg thing?
It just sticks. Youd have to spray it down with some oil if you want to use it
Thank you for answering my question. BTW, love your videos!
Thanks for watching!
Can't wait to make these for a keto BLT smothered in my homemade ranch dressing. Because carbs can wait.
🤤🤤🤤

What if I can't lift my stand mixer to put it on the counter?
Make them on the floor 😂
@@BlackTieKitchen sounds delicious lol
Instead of cloud bread, it's land bread lol
@@BlackTieKitchen sounds better than floor bread 😂
😂😂😂
Do you have to add the cream of tarter?
You need to add some form of acid to stabilize the egg white proteins. You can use lemon juice or white vinegar if you dont have either!
Black Tie Kitchen perfect! I’ll try it out with lemon juice!
Let me know how it turns out! It will likely have a little lemon-y flavor to it, but im curious how it works
Chef John reference points! :)
😄
To the outside , to the outside lmao 😂😂😂❤️❤️❤️

So i have to whisk for how long?
I ask because I've been whisking and whisking away and the whites are still liquidy...
Man make a video of you making smash burgers with these! Glad I subscribed!
It's on my list 😉
Yippee ki yay I can have my hamburgers on a bun again. While eating a dressed burger without a bun has been fine, I can't wait to be able to bun up my burger. Thank you.
How about mixing the cream cheese and yokes first then the whites so it doesn't sit n get runny n have to mix again
Could work!
Can you make these with cottage cheese instead of cream cheese y think?
Potentially. Just make sure to whip it into a cream beforehand if you try it!
Parchment paper all the way. :D

Why can't I give a tumbs up, it's not working, please check it out, thanks for sharing your recipe!
These are the old Atkins Revolution Rolls which are as old as your hand mixer.
Yup. The new iteration of cloud bread is now PSMF bread. Same same lol
I hate cloud bread. Going to make your French toast as I’m moving and the have microwave.
Yeah, cloud bread is ok - you really have to season it to cover the eggy taste for the standard one. Im curious what you think about the french toast!
@@BlackTieKitchen it looks good and I found a low carb syrup that tastes good, so I can’t wait!
@@BlackTieKitchen also ordered allylise, fish gelatin and lupin flour. Amazon is like “ahh, she’s watching Black Tie Kitchen”, lol.
