I remember this at the time. Apparently, someone had dropped out of going on top of the pops. and the BBC asked Queen if they would fill in for them. It turned out to be their big break. Not only that, there was another group at the same time. called Golden earring. Their song was named the radar love. Both groups were very similar in their style. and music. And they helped each other by complementing each other to get into the charts.
