I just did removed my Golf and TDI badges. Pro tip: wait for warmer weather. I did it in 45f/7c. I ended up at the car wash blasting the rest of the glue off.
You all probably dont care but does anybody know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot the account password. I appreciate any assistance you can give me!
This is just to much things for 1 simple task, i dont get why u need bunch of cleaning supplys ,for a fucking debage, just remove the badge, clean it with fibre, put some polisher and ur done. WOLA! like holy fuck.
@@Elizabeth-ue7bl This is easy.... Make sure the area is nice and clean, polished but not waxed. I then look at other badges on the internet to determine location and spacing... Masking tape can be a good tool to guide you and make sure it's straight I hope this helps!

Keep up the great work. You make it look so easy!
Fishing line, carpro adhesive remover. Rub it in and it comes off. No need to overkill
Nice video as always! Love the auto finesse products!
I really like your videos :)
Nice to see a new one.

+Stefanita Tudorache thank you!
Now those are fantastic tricks!
Hope they help!
i want to do this to my golf now. cheers
Let me know how you get on!
@@JoeHuntley it worked out great
Hi is the rear vw badge stick on as would like to wrap it
Acetone works well too.
Or if you want speed.
Use a screw driver
Yes! Very quick
Philips or flat blade?🧐
Great videos man
Frazer Murray Thanks Frazer!
WD40 to soften the adhesive and a plastic razor blade to scrape off the resulting mess. Never fails!
Reckon thats better than the rubbing alcohol? I was going to buy some, but ive already got wd in the house? 🤔
@@Sam-tw2srwhat did you use in the end and how did it turn out?
bro i have wv golf 2010 tdi is it same ?
I think you are taking about a Mk5 golf. This uses the badge as a boot opener so no. Unfortunately not.
Hi is there not a way to use something cheaper rather than all the products you used
The cheapest way to do this would be a heat gun and tar and glue remover....
But the cheapest way doesn't always mean the best way....
@@JoeHuntley ur just delusional sorry.
I prefer to use sticky stuff remover to remove the glue, works way better
+Da Doge who makes this Sticky Stuff remove, I will give it a try!
Joe
It’s made by a company called ‘de-solv-it’ Halfords stock it for about £4.99 it’s a thick gel that clings well to a vertical surface!
I'll delete my TDI emblem when I get a tune.
😂

Someone stole my badge 😢

@@JoeHuntley is this just for the vw silver part or the whole badge it’s self? They’ve take the whole thing can’t even open my boot
@@Elizabeth-ue7bl maybe you have VW which uses the hinged badge as a boot opener.... In which case I would get in touch with a local VW specialist!
bruv, use a heat gun....... nah only jokin nice vid.
Haha thanks!
