Looks good. Would it have been easier to spray the old ones? :)

Hey man, random side question - did your van come with the bumper protector or did you add that? Is it rubber?

Hey mate bought it on eBay, fitted it myself decent bit of kit. It’s like a giant sponge rubber type material hard to explain! It’s been great though rover.ebay.com/rover/1/710-53481-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5575605765&toolid=10001&campid=5338719738&customid=&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fitm%2F272855453928

Hair dryer works well to loosen old badges. Also, WD40 on a cloth is good for removing sticky residue...or you can buy a rubber wheel which fits on a drill which easily rubs the residue off. Lastly.....never use a yellow sponge if you think anything of your paintwork :(

Hi Darren, cheers for the video. I want to remove my lettering completely and not replace it. Looks like it left some marking when you took it off though.... would it be easy enough to get it completely clean?

Robin Hill hi Rob, I done mine like I did as I live in a flat with no power next to my van! I’ve seen people use hairdryers and also tooth floss to get all the glue off etc. I cleaned all the glue off with a normal car wash liquid, I think if I polished it it would of not been noticeable! Cheers

You can get a rubber wheel which fits on a drill specifically for removing all the residue easily.

Use a hair dryer to soften up the glue first , comes off much easier .

Yes a good tip, that’s okay if you have power near your van 😉

Surprised you have to fit the letters individually 😯

I know it may be different for some badges I think..

Surely the letters are attached to the cardboard template in the right place, so you can just stick them all in one go? Or am I being a bit naive in that assumption?

Hi David unfortunately not, they come with the template already on but they are sellotaped on the back to hold them in place, trouble is you need to remove the sellotape then each letter is individually stuck on with a sticky backing, and unless you you stick the front of the letters to the template first then they would just fall out. Plus there’s quite a bit of wiggle room and you would have to get it right first which could get messy!!
