- The King is here! Our guy @kingdac aka. Dac aka. The human Kangaroo sets an official Guinness WR jump with 50"!!!
World Record Jump is at 9:00mins
There is a lot of controversy surrounding this as there have been a few claims of jumps that are higher. However, being that this was professionally verified by us here at Project Pure Athlete and is submitted for an official WR, this IS the highest OFFICIAL jump of all time. Period.
There are a handful of guys in the running for this title and I'm challenging the all to come together for a world-record jump off. We will host! Hit us up!
In the meantime, enjoy this awesome video recorded at this year's The Dunk Camp in Utah.
Be sure to follow both myself @jumpguyty and Coach Chase @jumpguychase on IG and of course on here!!!

I would love to see a world record event where Zay and Dac go head to head. That would be hype af
Agreed!
This is amazing, I couldn’t possibly imagine the feeling of flying that high and falling! Congrats dude! 👏👏
The crazy thing is, watching how he approaches the vertec doesn't look very natural, like you can tell he doesn't test often. If he masters approaching a vertec he could definitely touch higher. The vertec is such a unique skill, i find it's easy to feel like your approach is cramped with having the pole on the side
Yep, we know there is room for improvement for sure! Athletically he has so many amazing attributes, so once all factors are dialed…watch out!
In a real game alley oop situation, it's safe to say he's clearing those levels with ease.
agreed.
Hey coach)) I am jumping of 1 foot and still haven’t cracked 2-foot approach, for better understanding, could you please make a video or share existing one where you mark athlete’s centre of mass and how is it transferring during full approach of the jump?
great please take it more videos about vertical jump and explosive and plyometric training
Please do an analysis of the Anthony Height 5,6 banker technique🙏
I wish that i could see you in person so you could correct my form but i struggle with plant foot (heel strike) because my feet are big i wear a size 13 and i have been practicing for months but i cant get it. Please Help
Hey coach, how can I get vertical jump training from you?
Man got long arms
hello!!i have a question that im hoping someone can help me with, my stnading vertical is 26 inches but my approaching two foot reach is only maybe an inch higher. i'm just wondering if there are any tips for fixing that? because that feels weird.
The single most important thing is having your block step (the very last step) as fast and as close (in time, not distance) to the second last step as possible. That's going to ensure your horizontal momentum gets turned into vertical. Also make sure your torso isn't too bent and that it's perpendicular to the ground. I forget that all the time when I'm trying to do a serious jump. Also time your arm swing well, your arms should be pointing down to your feet at the moment of your block step. So you might have to swing a little bit earlier than you think.
And then, of course, have a penultimate step that's as fast as your body can physically handle. You might be doing one that's too small combined with a slow block step
Practice the approach and jumping for a few weeks. Start lower and raise the rim up a little bit each day if u can
Idk if you play basketball, but that worked for me
Nice video.
If you want to do again a reaction on football, i suggest you Ronaldo tested to the limit, i think that it matches with your style of videos... In this video there is Cristiano ronaldo that do various tests, in terms of football but also physical skills. It's a bit long so you can also do 2 parts, because the video himself is divided in like 4 parts(a part for every "skill", if i remember well(sorry for my english btw).
Saya dari Indonesia saya suka tutorial
It would be interesting to see your reaction to skateboarding jumps. Please react to "World's highest ollie 2018".
didn’t isaiah record 50.5 at this event?
His jump was not verified. It was done by Isaiah and John Evans and not as part of the official World Record event. It was an amazing jump, but unfortunately wouldn't qualify toward an official world record attempt.
Why don't they slow mo cam guys jumping in front of a detailed ruler that shows inches, and centimeters and just replay the jumps so the athlete can purely focus on explosiveness from the legs rather have any aspect of it focusing on a touch
How tf a supposedly 5’10 dude have an 8’1 reach. I’m 5’10 with a 6’ wingspan and I reach 7’7 in shoes. His arm would needa be 6 inches longer making his wingspan what 7’? Something doesn’t add up
He has long arms and big hands. We measured it more than once.
What's his wingspan and hands size?
you're 5'11 with a 6' wingspan and you only reach 7'7?
I'm 5'11.5 with a 5'11.5 wingspan and I reach 7'10, without shoes
If he would have pissed and taken a dump before he started jumping he would have got it on the first try.
Who jumps higher Isaiah or dac love them both
have to get them head to head to verify!
He would be insane with a longer penultimate
Mantap
I have a question man! His reach has been tested with the normal VerTec and his jump with the « verified » VerTec (so 1 inche and a half higher).
So I’m wondering, if you measured his reach with the « verified » VerTec, the reach would have been 1 inche and a half lower. Then, when you do the maths, his vertical should be higher than 50 nah?
