Bhuvan Satya Yerramsetty thank you
5 feet 11 inches and 7/8ths of an inch😂😂😂 I bet he’s pissed he’s not 6 foot
I'd be
Miles Boykin had a 43.5 in vertical and an 11'8" broad jump both stats being top three among ALL positions. Also was in the top 10 for his 40 time among receivers. NFL sleeping on Boykin's athletic ability.
Jared Esteron not really it’s ok I’m 12 and have an 8’1broad jump
Light skin A-korn 11’8 is okay? Byron Jones broke the record 12’3 & His is okay? 🤣🤣
FusionZ That’s crazy to say it’s only ‘ok’. That’s a record.
@@lightskina-korn4066 you silly
Too bad that he never had a real QB who could throw a ball 🤷♂️
These are standing verts. That’s crazy that means their running verts are like 4-5 inches higher. My standing vert is like 30 and running is 35/36 but they have standing verts of like 42 which is 6 inches higher than my running and their running is probably a whole foot higher. Sorry I’m just appreciating the athleticism
My running vert is is almost ten inches higher then my standing so I’m guessing these pros can do the same n then more
@@kjarnold8951 Depends I guess you don't train your standing vert if you did it properly improve quickly to come close to your running vert.
@@2DarkHorizon never trained standing vert bro. I’m really a one foot jumper tho but I can take off on two
You can realistically get an extra 5 inches from. A vertical measurement. Just looking at the video, no way these guys are jumping 30inches high. Those guys getting 40 inches look more like 35 inches.
@@joedagg5478 true, but that’s the most standardized measurement at this point
You guys forgot about Joshua Miles from Morgan state. His vertical was 36 inches at 6'5 314
That’s freakin’ crazy, man!
Fine watching.
Juan Thornhill is a freak at jumping. Whew.
Yep. 44 inches of the ground. Imagine what kind of crap you could do with a vertical of almost 4 ft
These guys are crazy!!!
Haden Shoup you haven’t even watched the video before you posted this
@@atl5557 was watching while I posted 😎🚬
Haden Shoup only seen less than a minute of it
@@atl5557 i mean ok...I've already seen these highlights anyways sooo....really doesn't matter now does it 😂😂😂
Nba players litteraly cant compete with these guys. They are outstanding
Yeah plus football guys are wayyy more in shape and have harder workouts then them so I wouldn’t be surprised if they have higher verts then them
@@TwinXO yeah and they are also highest jumpers in the world. I mean football players. Like Josh Imatorbhebhe . He has 47.1 standing vertical. Thats the highest ever recorded standing vertical.
Yh except they would only be able to play like 2 quarters of a basketball game
@@cjpearce1407 no. You probably haven't see them play. But they play 4 quarters
@@damjanmitrovic6513 yeah and how long does each play last as opposed to basketball
How you gon call this top vertical jumps of the combine and put a 29' jump
*"*
@@benshapiro3237 29 feet? wow!!
Ken Webster can’t get any love. 43inch vert. Highest amongst corners and 133inch broad 3rd highest. Can’t be bias for big names
Where’s Miles Boykins very it was a 43.5
DPJ a freak for real
Do they raise based on every person or no? My coach raised it like 10 inches for me but everyone else was no where near as high
Welcome to the Flock Gang!!😎😎2020 Season for a big jump for Miles Boykins!!
Rashan gary had a 39 inch vert at 270+lbs
I just did a broad jump at the gym today for the first time and hit 8.5ft. I thought that was impressive until I came here.
Supers training
Thank you
Greetings Greet my family☺
Jumpman Juan.
I’m 14 and I got around a 29 inch
crazy what these guys do
Post a vid of u doing a 29
@@hayha_yt3072 why does he have to
29 pretty good considering average is 22
That’s pretty darn good for 14! Is that flat-footed or with a one-step gather?
Where is Emanual Halls broad jump
What was Metcalf's vert?
40.5
@@TheMrProvocative thank you

What happens if you have NFL combine numbers but haven’t played college ball ?
Miles Boykin???
It seems all of them are stealing inches
Yeah doesn’t really seem like they’re jumping that high. That 36 inch vert looked more like a 30-32 inch vert
Point your finger on their hips and play the video while they are jumping
@@megamindvs2514 I did it and it confirms what I was thinking, hahaha
Doesnt matter they still have a mat under the legs so it measures accurately their vert
how is it measured?
-Get reach height
-jump to get height
-max height minus reach height
How are you ?
Freeze the video at 2:12 and see where the player's waistband is relative to the background, then freeze it at 2:14 at his highest point and see where his feet are relative to the background. It just doesn't look like 30 1/2" ground clearance to me. I keep hearing about guys with 48" verticals in various sports. I look at it like this: If someone is exactly 6'0" in his shoes, and he's bald or has super-short hair, and he jumps from a standing start and the top of his head reaches a regulation 10-foot basketball rim, THAT'S a true 48" vertical! Anything else is suspect.
That’s not how you measure it, dude. You measure standing reach. Then you see how high they can jump, either flat-footed, or with a step & gather. It’s not something you do with the “eye test.” 🙄
@@grahamstrouse1165 he’s talking about not being able to cheat it by using height instead of reach. I’d trust the head to rim test over these.
@@CJDavis188 this is the way it is tested in basketball too, pro dunkers also test it like this. They measure your max standing touch and the top of the vertec is 12 ft. You touch as high as you can and they subtract it from your standing reach. That is like, simple math.
@@samuel_shemire read my comment retard.
@@CJDavis188 misunderstood you. Sorry about that. I ain't no retard tho.

I bet I could have gotten a really good broad jump with some of those shiny gold Nikes.
I like how I broad jump farther than a few of these people
🧢🧢🧢
@@chikinwingz3041 my broad jump is 9’6” bruh
@@Tiernan422 that’s pretty damn good! My best 40, vert & standing broad jump Mark from my 20s wouldn’t have been too shabby by combine standards. But I’m a lot shorter than most of these guys.
I had a 44inch vertical standing jump and I’m 15 5’10
No you didn’t
Theres a kid in my school who is 14 and jumps 38 inch vertical
Damn. That’s insane.
He is NFL potential
That’s kinda hard to believe…
One dude cheated an took a step in
Noticed that, too. 😁 In the NBA combine they take two measurements-one for the flat-footed vert & a second one with a one-step gather.
Why nba players don't do that test
?
They do, just with an approach instead of no step.
They do but don't do public combines like the NFL.
@@JasM3dia they actually do both variants
@@tenfourproductionsllc The NBA has a combine, too. It’s not publicized as much but it’s still a thing.
No hate but some of these big guys barely moves from the ground and they still jump 30+ this thing doesn't seem very accurate
It is. They are genetic freaks
I bet I get a solid 22 inches off the ground
the vertical jump numbers are BS
some guys barely get off the floor and have a 35" vertical???I call total BS!!!
It's because you have seen a 44 inch vert first. So everything else seems low
no
the 35" vertical is bogus..
35" is a good vertical,89 cm ,it's a real jump
the guy barely gets off the floor.
@@blaisehanon he tall you see. The jump that's why doesn't seem that high.
Mans last name is Redwine
if i had a 40 inch vert i could dunk.
im 5'3
My vertical is probably 35" at 16 yrs old 5'10 is the good?
@@TonyMontana-hb6uj I don't know last Time I went it was 144ib
that sucks
Then that's actually very bad
@@TonyMontana-hb6uj wow really I can dunk on 10ft hoop ☹️
@@litesout0_o639 Yeah me too and I am 14 and weigh 155
This the average on Call of duty.
Devs need to look at this video
My vertical right now is 35.8 inches at 15 years old
You’re not a 15yr old that has a 35.8in vertical with a 6ft2in 220lbs body tho.
Josh Imatorbhebhe
He would’ve roasted these guys at the vertical.
I was in the 6th grade doing the standing long jump and making over an 9 feet jump
How tall were you?
I was in 5th grade doing 10 feet
About 5'10" in 6th grade. Now I'm 6'5"
My vertical jump is close to 30 in and I'm 5'2" tall.
what does your height even have to do with anything?
@@sundigest1121
Do you even have to ask? Proportionality of course.
@@AceofDlamonds height has barely any effect on the vertical jump so what are you talking about?
It's how high you get off the ground regardless of your height/weight
@@ralphorlatei6760
i know that. just wanted to show some perspective.
Jesus Christ loves you so much!!!!!
I love him to god bless
@Justin Bentz bruh just realize you wouldn’t even be hear of it wasn’t for god bruh it’s people like you that need to find god
And I thought I was athletic they make me look pathetic lol
A few of these guys jumped higher then Zion Williamson
Zion has a 44 inch vert
NFL players a lot of times have better verticals than NBA. They are looking for the explosive power. It's a genetics test
@@jms0313 You’re partly right. It’s not just genetics, though. You still have to train. Football players need to be able to generate more power from a dead stop more than basketball players.
most of them will. That was Zion's max vert with a run-up. These guys are testing their verts without a run-up. For most people, their max vert is around 5 - 8 inches higher than their standing vert. Imagine adding that for these guys. A number of them will probably get over 50" as their max vert.
This is why THEY are in the NFL. It's not about hard work as much as it's about genetics. You were born with your vertical. It can't be improved upon very much.
Genetics play a huge part but you don’t jump that high unless you also put in the work.
Completely wrong
That's pretty pessimistic. You can improve your vertical significantly by training.
@@RishabhSharma10225 you can improve it some but the NFL combine vertical test is designed to find guys who are genetic freaks in a class of their own…. I’m sorry it is what it is. These guys have advantages you don’t have
This is incredibly stupid. Anybody can add at least a foot to their natural vertical. Some more
Byron Jones record will not last for much longer. Mark my words.
1 day, 1 day.
First
Why do people think basketball players have higher verticals the average on the NBA in 30 inch NFL is 40 inch
Because in basketball you have a solid vertical goal - the rim, which is pretty high. When people jump against the rim, it looks like they go really high, and it happens all the time naturally in games. Football players don't have a chance to demonstrate their jumping ability against some obvious goal in a game sutations, and they are usually zoomed out during broadcasts, unlike basketball players, so their elevation is unobvious.
