    I agree completely. I've been in the surface RC hobby since the late 1970's and currently own 70 - 80 RC's. If I were forced to sell the collection but could keep only one, it would be the SBR2. The most fun I've ever had with an RC.

    Had mine out the last couple of days and I am so surprised at how Smoothy this truck (for it's size) runs. I'm not a basher, I simply enjoy the scale experience and this truck delivers.

    Love the snow run 👍❄️ Soooo much cleanup because of the cage 🤣

      it was such a pain to clean this time. Only thing I don't like about this truck. Wish it was a hinge.

      @@JasonPerrinRCVlogs Yep! That's another reason I sold the V1. The DBXLE is much easier to clean and work on 👍

    What an amazing bash! I just love how you captured this on video. Man that was alot of snow in the SBR 2.0😆 You got me constantly looking at these. Maybe one day🤔

      They are such a great truck. I went back and fourth on this a few others and I am so glad I with with it. I can't find any major fault with it. Just a great all around truck. I actually forget at times that I am driving a rear solid axle truck.

    So fun! Btw it’s much easier to remove the cage altogether than removing the body. Much less screws to unscrew.

    • @JasonPerrinRCVlogs
      @JasonPerrinRCVlogs  2 роки тому

      You know its funny you say that. I often tell myself I need to look at how to get the cage off so I don't have to take the body off every time. I am going to get around to it some day.

      @@JasonPerrinRCVlogs Yeah it's much easier and gives you much better access to the internals. i never removed the panels, always the cage

    I got my LSBR 2.0 2 weeks ago and I went out and ran it in the snow and salt and my truck got rust on most of the screws which sucked but it still runs smooth and shocks are fine

    It can't be easy in the snow but at least you don't need to worry about overheating the electrics! Today I had to stop to cool the DBXL down twice in every pack!

    I always use an old hair dryer on my rc's after a good snow bash. Works wonders! Great bash.

      I just ran mine in the snow and my only recommendation is greasing the screws first or better yet replacing them with stainless steel, which is what I ended up doing.

    You can never have too much power in snow, mud, or sand, but on concrete 8S is more than enough.

    Nice, wondering thou if you could use it as a trail truck, driving on trails as you walk? Or does it have cogging issues driving slow? Nice fun time man!
    FYI Grab a winter shoe bin, from Canadian tire. This way, you got a big pan to put the truck on while waiting sitting for the snow to melt, my wife hates me when I use the old towels 😁

    • @JasonPerrinRCVlogs
      @JasonPerrinRCVlogs  2 роки тому

      I use an old plastic shoe mat. It works good.
      With the current electrics it would not be good as a trail truck.

    Great truck. The most interesting startet at minute 12 when you started to clean it from snow. Do you have any recommendation how to do it and what to use afterwards, e.g. some Do's and Dont's?

    Had mine for over a year now , awesome truck !! Can't believe you didn't break the front bumper / skid support in that cold hitting the snow banks , broke mine 2nd run out !!! I see you don't have a rear cage support mod yet ? Def to do list ! The first vid I watched of yours was your Senton 6s , chasing the geese at the baseball field !!! No more Senton 6s on your channel ?

    • @JasonPerrinRCVlogs
      @JasonPerrinRCVlogs  2 роки тому

      No that truck is long gone. But, I sure wish I had kept it.
      As for the rear cage mod. I had talked to someone who was going to send me some to test out on the channel. But he stopped emailing me. :(

    Do you ever take apart the bearings and clean them and let them dry after driving it in the snow because I heard if you don’t do that they will lock up also great video always liked how you tested your rc’s keep up the good work👍

      This. I have had a UDR and I much prefer this.

    • @kingwillie206
      @kingwillie206 2 роки тому

      I have both and the UDR is a bit more scale, but can’t touch the SBR In terms of drivability. Not really directly comparable due to the size difference and open rear diff on the SBR.
