With all the accusations of Frankie lip-syncing to his old songs on his tours today, I had to look up an interview to see if there are any current or near-current interviews with him to gauge his speaking voice strength. His speaking voice is strong enough to sing his songs as well as in his youth, but he has some age-related slurring - but nothing critical. I'm still not convinced one way or another on the lip syncing but leaning more toward, I think he possibly does lip sync. None the less, the fact he's made it to 90 years of age and still doing tours, and standing the whole length of his show - is amazing! Lip-syncing or not - AND - he is a legend, so there's that.
Does he lipsync his concerts? Like most 90 year olds he seems to have trouble articulating words. He's still a legend.

@@billydoyle9984It's a digitally enhanced pre-recorded performance track from his older voice. It's not the original recording. He's used that for years. The band plays live to click track so that they match the vocal timing.

You can tell his voice has changed a lot just talking. I found a concert video where the track doesn’t start and he sounded terrible until the guy at the keyboards reached for the laptop then suddenly he sounded 40 years younger.
Watch a video is a lot different than watching him in person, yes I got the privilege of seeing him a month ago.
