I wish I could be more like Lucas. He's like my old southern Grandma who can just talk to anyone and make them feel good. A skill verging on super powers.
I guess Im asking randomly but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account?
I stupidly forgot my login password. I love any assistance you can give me.
@Timothy Kamden Instablaster =)
@Robert Kamari i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Robert Kamari It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out!
@Timothy Kamden no problem =)
Lucas is a remarkable host. He seems to be able to create such great dialogue and clearly studies the history before visiting these places. He offers more in a five minute video than most people can offer in an episode. I hope you go far Lucas. You're intelligent and interesting.
Lucas is one of the best hosts out there. Thanks to him, I'll be giving this place a visit this weekend. Can't wait to see more!
+Ravi Patel Tell everyone there we said hello! Thanks for watching!
+Ravi Patel yeah mom will take us
LOL but you know mom's a swami, what's she gonna eat?
+Ravi Patel just tell them to use the no onion no garlic as a rub lol
That works or I can just steal the camry once they go to bed and we can go.
This has become one of my favorite series on the internet, not just because of the food and the people, but mostly because of the host.
This dude must make friends everywhere he goes ... pretty chill guy
I think the coolest part of your show is that it's not just about the food. Sometimes you go on tangents about the history of it, the culture behind it, or neat stuff like this where you're basically hanging with living legends. Two thumbs up from me as always Lucas!
I am here for Quinn! That gal is so friendly and warm, she has such a soothing voice. I hope y'all tipped her well!!!!
Quinn is the best!
Eater mm no mention of tipping, probably didn't tip😒
somebody raised him right
Lucas as awesome as always! I love how the waitress knows what the order is and gives tips. Great character!
This is a real host. He is passionate without being pretentious. Like that meat lover guy.
Lucas! Thank you for this. I literally live 4 minutes away and this has been place been around before I was even thought of. I'm 28 and I've lived in Woodlawn all my life and still do and seeing this almost makes me want to cry for joy. We're looked over a lot but we have some good people and good food in Woodlawn. I'm scared of the future for Woodlawn but we're still holding on! Thank you for enjoying the food and spotlighting Woodlawn.
Thanks for your comment. I hope everything's going okay there on the South Side -- I know times have been bad. Keep holding on!
I love this series. You need your own Netflix or Hulu show. Hell, I'd buy cable again if you got a real show. I really like how you showcase the customers and the neighborhoods of all the cheap eats you guys go to.
+Bobbi Jo Woods Thanks for watching! We just wrapped shooting out next season!
Sweet! Can you guys get Lucas & crew to come out to St. Paul anytime in this century? We got LOTS of great eats here :)
+Bobbi Jo Woods We only just wrapped our fourth season. Give us some time!
Don't make promises you can't keep, now!
How are you verified with 200 subscribers
I wish every food host was like Lucas! He's rly one of the best out there
Wonderful episode. This establishment oozes warmth & timelessness. This series makes me want to visit the US and enjoy new food and great company.
+A Kahn Everyone we met in Chicago was warm and welcoming. From the people in the restaurants to the people on the street. Thanks for watching!
Lucas does a great job. He should be interviewing on TV somewhere. Very conversational, immediately likable and smart. Really. An excellent job on these shows.
Lucas is a gem in this food show thing. Only food show where I know I'm getting real reactions, and real valuable content. I'm not wasting my time watching you, I'm learning and appreciating more cultures. Lucas unites us.
Thank you for visiting the South side of Chicago. Most of the time when it gets brought up the entire thing is ignorantly stereotyped as a criminal monolith. Many people will simply tell you to never go there at all and I think that exacerbates the problems that are present. I have a list of places to go all around the South side but this place wasn't on it yet. Thank you Lucas and Eater. If you are still in town make sure to check out the beautiful 100 year old mansions on King and Drexel and elsewhere.
Lucas is a very talented host. Got me hooked since the los angeles episode, when you were ordering in Spanish. I was amazed O.o. Keep up the great work!
I love all the episodes that has Lucas but this one here is in the top 3 of all time. Everything you can point out that you love about Lucas is represented in this episode.
His manners, his intellect and in depth knowledge of the place he's visiting, charisma, charm, graciousness and generosity. All that and other details I forgot to mention.
Everybody always says what a great host he is, which is certainly true but, let's also praise him on being a wonderful guest to all these places he visits.
I gotta join the, "I love Lucas" fan club. He knows his food, treats people with respect, and you just feel good after watching his episodes. Good... and hungry! God bless ya Lucas. Keep up the good work!
Added bonus that Lucas is damn easy on the eyes. Mmm
+Lucas Peterson hahahaha
+Baby J i'm a guy and i'll have to agree with you
freighter014 plot twist. so am i. hurr hurr
Oh my gosh, Lucas is my dream husband. Good looking, loves food, intelligent, good sense of humor. What is there not to love?
after so many years, I believe, its best dining on a dime episode @lucas lots of love.
I love how Lucas orders a bunch of food and low and behold: he shares it with the locals. This is why I love this host
This is my favorite food series to watch; knowledgeable and likable host, great food choices, and doesnt take half an hour to watch a episode.
I respect Lucas so much for being able to sit down and get to know people like that. I would be waaaay too nervous to remember people's names after they just told it to me XD
Lucas is the GOAT of these type of shows
That lady seems like such a joy. God bless her soul
Love this guy, he's the best host. I haven't seen a negative review of him.
Love how you always try to interact with the regulars to get their input on the food, establishment, and history!
I'm convinced that Lucas can fit in with just about anyone
Jonathan Stache He speaks like every language too
I'll have to agree with other posters, Lucas is a good host & seems to be naturally respectful person.
One of the most likeable dudes to ever grace the earth.
Lucas you are so cool and down-to-earth. On top of being super cute, you are so easy to talk to your personality is genuine!💜💜💜
c'est un plaisir de regarder les vidéos avec Lucas Peterson!! il est vraiment sociable et respectueux des autres!!
I'm basically going to rephrase what I said from Episode 1... really feeling like I'm getting a distinctly Chicago character from watching this video as opposed to just plain "American" character. Would never mistake this for my neck of the woods (Brooklyn). Really flavorful short snippet. Lucas, excellent personality exhibited here, as always
I see what you're doing in this new season, Eater. You're making each episode a little longer, but you're actually telling not only eating, but stories. I see. Love it, Eater. Love it, Lucas.
+Fransisco Samara We're growing and listening to the commenters. Thanks for watching!
Eater and that's why we love you. I hope you guys get paid more :))
Lucas is doing a fantastic job! One suggestion: Given the shows title, "Dining on a Dime", I think it would be really helpful if you guys included the prices of some of the items you were ordering. Or, alternatively, maybe a little graphic adding up each item and showing us how much was spent in total at the end of the meal.
I like how he makes his meals communal. I like watching this guy
Tommys face in the thumbnail brought me here. Lol
We need more Lucas in the world. Awesome guy!
Aww lol "Tommy being Tommy." Cute!
Man, this video is just awesome. It shows what really makes restaurants good: people. Sharing delicious dishes with them and hearing their stories.
"Tommy being Tommy" Haha that was cute :)
We need more Tommy! I clicked just for him.
idk why Lucas and eater channel isn't more popular, great house and great food
+Jessica Meyer Thanks for watching!

You guys should go to Miami next! Dining on a Dime is the best series onEater.
4:48 Tommy is living the thug life.
I've been watching a lot of Eater episodes with Lucas in them......and I must've probably fallen in love by the 10th one I've watched.
Lucas is so down to earth I cannot even believe it! I loved this episode and all the conversations around that cozy little bar
Lucas should have his own show.
I just started watching this series, and this is now my go-to over Munchies because it's clean, beautifully shot, and the host is really likeable.
Thanks for watching!
The host has such a great personality. Would like to see more of him. Awesome video!
Them pork chops smothered....man oh man
I want to be that old guys age where you literally don't give a crap lol.
+Link The Love Just give it time. Thanks for watching!
Lucas you rock! Love the diversity of the show! Love your people skills. Awesome show. I hope the Food Network and/or The Cooking Channel give you a show.
There are history and story behind each episode....I'm loving it! 👍

All this food-and history!
"Im watching my weight" - dude's a comedian too, so loveable hahaha
my favourite part of your shows shows is when you share your spread with the locals.

Those old men are so cute, I wanna hug them!!
Everyone think they're spicy but they're not....I love it
Really good example of why I like Lucas. Tommy was just being Tommy and that was OK.
Never had a deep fried pork chop. Seems delicious.
David Le it's delicious but extremely bad for you lol eat it on rare occasions
Subscribe to this channel because of Lucas.
Making my plane reservation tonight....just to try the bisquits.
I'm putting my money on the two new friends Lucas made. Both were awesome in their own way. And if I had a restaurant in Chicago I'd be looking to hire Quinn. She was a sweetheart.
aww Tommy
Chicago's best..
1:16 "let me get uhhhhhh....GRILLED SIMON!"
best thing about lucas is that he isn't one bit condescending or patronising or pretentious like so many foodie hosts are these days. jus got watching luke nguyen across vietnam- god he s a condescending prat, and of course u have the pricks like ramsay , etc . this man along with action bronson are the least affected most human hosts out there.
your an Australian?
This guy is smooth.
Tommy is awesome and wise! When you know not to waste anytime cuz your number could be called soon you do what you like only for you
That is just flat out good eatins" from a 59 yr old Irishman family living in rural Kentucky
I'm watching four guys eat 😁
He was like, why you eating my food.
Lovely Lucas.
Wow do those pork chops look amazing, I'd love to sit with those friendly old fellas and dig in, wings and all.
god i wish youtube was like this when i actually was living in chicago. back then youtube was nothing like today and i would not have known about places like this in chicago.
Tommy's back look like it hurt with those pats at the end Lucas! Haha jp
Tom and Clarence are so cute. I love them
