Thanks so much! I made 4 different batches of these in the last 2 days and they turned out awesome! It cost me so much to make these with my other recipe and this result is just as good. I thank you over and over! ~ Michele
I just made mine and they have turned out beautifully. I can't wait for them to dry so I can test them in them out 😀. While I was washing out my bowls I had tons of bubbles. Thank you for sharing.
I made these yesterday and it was very easy to make. It was my first time making them. I did add poylysorbate 80 for the castor oil and the lake colors I used as I wasn't sure if it would stain the tub. Thank you for this easy recipe!
@@Pppoopoocheck8 i know this is a really old comment but i found this on google, its also the rule i follow when i was making bath bombs: The rule of thumb is 1 part Polysorbate 80 to 2 parts carrier oil (eg Sweet Almond oil, Coconut Oil). So if you use the recipe that we provide in our bath bomb kits, use 1 teaspoon of Polysorbate 80 to 2 teaspoons of Coconut Oil. Just remember to use the 1:2 ratio for any recipe you use.
Thanks great recipe! The first time I made it they were perfect. The second time they are getting a little crumbly and hard to pop out of the ice cream scoop. Any suggestions??
I tried your recipe last night, and everything looked good, but this morning, the scoops expanded and look more like homemade cookies. Can you please share how I can fix that? I'm sure I weighed in my ingredients correctly. Thanks! ❤
I have tried this recipe twice and it does not harden. The truffles stay soft in the middle. Is this supposed to happen? If not can you please advise. I do love the simplicity of this recipe.
Hi Kathy! I just happened to see your question here for her and just yesterday I was watching a different video where they said “The outside will form a harder ‘crust’ but the center will remain somewhat soft.” They were talking about their bubble bars that were cut quite thick, but I am assuming that same thing could be happening here with yours and this recipe. I do have to say, I have never made these yet but I have narrowed down to three recipes I want to try and see which one I like best. Hopefully I can remember to come back here and let ya know if I have any luck :) Have an amazing day! 💜 Christie
@@angeladyer9602 Sadly, I’ve not tried them yet! I had a sick family member that spent months in a hospital, so a lot of projects got put on the back burner. However, I am LOVING that you reminded me of this, so I am moving it up my priority list and will put my response to you right with it!!! 🎗️🥰

Thank you so much! Beautiful! Do you have to use castor oil or can I use any oil such as Shea, coconut, olive or avocado oil? Does this recipe produce a nice full bath of bubbles?
Thanks🙂 I haven't tried this recipe with other oils so I can't say for sure if you could use something different with the same results. This recipe does make the best bubble bath, TONS of long lasting bubbles!!
I love the look of these but every recipe I have seen says that you need Polysorbate 80 to help emulsify the oils and water and to help prevent rings from mica in the tub. Why don’t you use Polysorbate 80?
I love the look of this recipe. However as I’m new to this I’ve watched many videos to find a simple way to make scoops and all of them contain citric acid. Why is there none in your recipe and could that b3 added? Thanks
I tried your recipe and it came out way too wet. I let it dry and the bubbles just fade when adding the bar to the tub.I think there's too much Coco Betaine in the recipe.

That's awesome to hear!!!
I made these tonight. It was so easy with your recipe, and they came out perfect!! Thank you for sharing.
That's awesome!!🙂
will give this a try the last recipe i used was sooo dry
Thank you so much for sharing your recipes! That is so kind of you! I definitely want to try making some this Christmas. 😊
Substituted tapioca flour with coconut and they came out perfectly!

How much of polysorbate 80 did you add ?
@@Pppoopoocheck8 sorry, I can’t remember.

Hi
Thank u for the recipe. Can I substitute tapioca starch with kaolin clay perhaps?
Tnx
Great recipe. Can this made without slsa? Thanks
No polysorbate 80 to prevent mica stain in tub?
Why didn't you show us at the end how they work in the tub? :) I want to see the bubbles! lol
These look so fun to make! I have almost everything! Thank you!
It worked absolutely excellent!
Thank you for sharing ❣
Awesome!!! 😊
Thank you! Those turned out beautifully! We will definitely be trying these💗
Yay! They are so much fun!! 😊
Thank you for sharing the recipe, can’t wait to try it.
Hi for the fragrance it only looks like a drop you put in if that's the case you won't be able to smell it
What should I be looking in a fragrance oil?
Beautiful.
Hello, good afternoon
What can I replace they SLSA with?
Can these be piped if alcohol is added to thin the mix?
Thanks great recipe! The first time I made it they were perfect. The second time they are getting a little crumbly and hard to pop out of the ice cream scoop. Any suggestions??
Thank you for sharing. May I ask why did you not add Polysorbate 80?
Since Polysorbate 80 is an emulsifier it's not needed in this recipe because the SLSA and the Coco Betaine also work as emulsifiers🙂
@@TheOldCountryPorch got it👍
Thanks a lot.
Can you substitute Coco detaine with polybate80?
Can you use a bath bomb mold instead of scoop?

I’m confused you say instead of sls you use betaine but you add it at the end?
She used slsa
I love the look of these but every recipe I have seen says that you need Polysorbate 80 to help emulsify the oils and water and to help prevent rings from mica in the tub. Why don’t you use Polysorbate 80?
The cocamidopropyl betaine in this recipe is a strong emulsifier so you don't need polysorbate 80😊
I love the look of this recipe. However as I’m new to this I’ve watched many videos to find a simple way to make scoops and all of them contain citric acid. Why is there none in your recipe and could that b3 added? Thanks
Thank you. I watched both of your bubble scoop videos. In the older one, you used glycerin. In this one, you didn't. Was that on purpose?
Glycerine is a humectant so is honey plus salt it attracks water.
Why not add the SLSA in first
Can I make this with out coco B? I have everything but that!
Sorry, this recipe won't work without the coco B😥 I'm impressed that you have all of the other ingredients though!

Thanks again! I tried. For me they became slightly flat..like a roughed up cookie when dry..what should I do so they remain round and not flatten..
It could be the humidity, you can add a little more baking soda to help them keep their shape!
Thanks so much
@@kaiahome I had the same issue with mine spreading/going flat. Were you able to determine/resolve this issue? Thanks in advance.
Why do you use soda? What does that ingredient do?
Slsa
It makes bubbles🙂
Baking soda makes the small amount of soap in the recipe to create more bubbles. Cream of tartar also creates bubbles as well.
