Kenneth Griffith comes across like he's speaking directly to you, And he's that wizened friend you actually want to listen to. I'm very fond of the man, this channel and all of his brilliant work in educating those who always yearning for more information about history.
I earned first knowledge A about Sir Robert Clive by my lecture of a naval ĥistory novel serie an Roger Kelso. Captain of the Bombay Navy Frigate PARAGON throughout his career from Lieutenant to Commodore.
This is an excellent and entertaining overview of Clive's life, and visiting the places he passed through gives great life and vigour to the storytelling.
Outstanding documentary. Many thanks for the upload,KGA. Top tier stuff. KG was a great orator and brings a depth that is incalculable.Very much enjoyed watching this :)
Not an eulogy for sure, beautifully orated sir... Clive was a true son of his soil, great general by skills and a visionary for the prospect of the British expansion in India. However, it can be said what he made out of Mir Jafar for Siraj-ud-Daulah; was made by his enemies out of the British parliamentarians for himself. The gentlemen's agreement was reiterated.
I've started a few other of these videos and a theme is definitely appearing. Most of the videos are pretty strong statements of anti-imperialism whether that be in India, Africa or Ireland. Before I even watch it I've started to wonder whether he's going to give more credit to the Mogul invaders then he does to the British though they are both just Invaders of a land that doesn't belong to them. Going off of what I've seen so far from the other videos I'm going to guess that he does. I'm also an aging liberal so I don't hold it much against him.😊
Some of these line deliveries are just as strange. They seem unnecessary and off kilter. He's kind of hamming it up for the sake of hamming it up I guess.

Any dirty tricks we’re with the connivance and full support of the Indian rulers.
