Those cheaper duals orange units seem to have a manufacturing flaw with a wire poking through where power lead attaches to board or something and shorts out. Seems pretty obvious from descriptions and easy to fix
@@Off.Track4x4 Sometimes products have failures...but 1 problem doesn't equal a product flaw or indicate a design issue. 10k failures on the 2nd use indicate a problem
The twins with the air tank are ment to be pretty good, but stand alone the airflow isn't as good as the TJM twin. Interesting though ARB will let you put Thiers under the bonnet and still cover the warranty.
Hey mate, nope no issue as the TJM Air Compressor has a 100% duty cycle. so heat is not an issue for it. I think its cut off is 150 degrees or something crazy like that.
@@Off.Track4x4 hi man I have a px2 ranger and wanting to do the same as you, installed under the seat with an outlet each side for convinence. Any photos or tips you could send through? Many thanks
@@markconnell6268 I can tell you it was 100% worth doing! no mess in the car and no need for a extra long cable that just gets tangled. shoot me a message on Instagram and I can talk you through it :) @off.track.explorers
We actually have one now! Life expectancy is huge! Had a customer come it that had one for 10 years. Man they are slow though! Will be mounting another one of these in the new year to the cruiser.

Do you have an install video?
No unfortunately, bit past my skill set. But I can tell you they drilled a hole and run everything under the car
Can this compressor be rebuilt like the ARB?
G'day Mate, At $399.00 I would probably just replace it. But you can definitely get spare parts for it from TJM
Nice. What was in the well before you put your air compressor and did you install the air compressor yourself?
Hello Gary, just an empty storage space. Na didn't do it myself, I had the guys at Adventure Offroad at Springwood set it all up for me. Great job
Dear
Try the ARB TWIN ITS %100 duty cycle

Understood that, brother
Any issues with the air compressor overheating when the seat is down?

@@evertonwilian2011 let me know if you want any photos of how the hose is all done. I can not tell you how happy I am with the twin outlets

what are your thoughts on the TJM portable compressor?
