I bought the single one week and the following week I bought the Twin, Once I had the single I just had to know what the Twin could do, "Love at First Sight" . I use the single for everyday chores and the Twin for bigger things. Is the Twin worth the Money ?? when you see how fast it is and what it can do, The answer is Yes. If this Guy had run the Engine while doing this test they would of been even quicker. One of the good things about these Two Compressors is that they shut off when you release the Trigger just like a Workshop Compressor does.Thumbs Up Great Video, Thanks for posting.
Don’t you tease me with a thumbnail of your jeep on a beach and then hit me with a garage shot of a JL. PS I’m so excited! Next Friday I’m FINALLY gonna be able to order my diesel gladiator
HAHA! I couldn't shoot video without a permit where I was for the picture, so the studio had to make do, but I had to put the compressor through some real world testing of course!
Both them would have been faster with the engine running, especially the twin since it draws over 60amps, plus it was tested after the single had drawn the battery down. Airing up all 4 with the engine off might you stranded with a dead battery. Also, the lower the voltage gets the hotter the compressor's motor will get and the higher the amperage draw will become. I have a twin air in my Jeep and it takes an eternity to air a 40" tire, so long that I'm guessing it's defective. It wouldn't be the first twin air I've seen take a dump but sound fine. For way less money, around $115, napa sells a compressor rated at over 10CFM and in independent tests it indeed out performs the ARB. It has no warrantee and no parts support, but it's comparatively cheap enough to consider it disposable.
at $1,000.00USD it should come with a person to do the work for you. the unit sounds good. but i would want it hard mounted. not in a theft carry case. i do not even remember the name of the one living under my passenger seat. it is a good brand name, top of the line 25 years back. still going strong. even with a 5 gallon tank under the floor. best of all total cost back then was under $500.00USD.
why does the (CKMTP12) 12V Twin Motor High Performance Portable Air Compressor have a tank and the (CKMP12) 12V High Performance Portable Air Compressor does not ? To me that is backwards.
@@jerrywayne1968 Because having the Twin motors it can keep up with the Air demand so you can run small air tools as well, where as the single does not have the CFM to fill the Tank and run air tools, Hope that helps.
Does anyone know how long it will take to fill an 80 PSI Load Range E tire with an ARB Air compressor? Like from 18 psi to 80 psi? (Sand to street pressure).
I can’t say that would be too often. That 80psi rating is for maximum loads. If you’re not at the maximum load of the tire, you don’t need it at 80psi.
Hi! Very detail Nice review and comparisonFor this ARB twin compressor portable, after every usage do we need to release the air in the tank to store this safely? Thanks.and more power to your channel.
Hey Rob, nice to see you guys can make videos to showcase products. However, I would prefer you have someone available to answer the phone or respond to emails. I have been waiting on an item for 4 months and can't seem to get ahold of you people. I will take my business elsewhere.
This thing is useless I got a Chinese compressors for 105 dollar in bahrain 🇧🇭 it inflat 0 psi tyre to 40 psi in 2 mins for my desert tyres 😂😂 and it's working with me from 2 years also

Great video, will buy the twin!
Best tire pump ever
ARB Heavy Duty #1 🇺🇸
Definitely on the list to get. 😁
Hi great video i have a rv with large tires which I keep at 110 psi will that work to that pressure> Tire size 295/r80/22.5
How long does it take to "pressurize there system" on the dual?
Only takes about a minute to fill up the 1 lb tank to about 135 - 150psi on the twin compressor
@@rob_quadratec It takes between 35-37 Seconds to fill the Tank from Zero PSI to the moment it shuts off.
Nice video! How do you use the twin compressor in your garage? Does it have an AC adapter so I can plug it into a receptacle?
Remove your vehicles battery, place it on the ground, then proceed to hook up the ARB portable compressor.
@@TJ-po9ol I would not recommend placing the battery on the ground

Ground lead on first
Ground lead off last
How does it do in cold weather? And will it run power tools?
Nice presentation mate
Great info! Perfect timing!
Maybe I missed the video or update but what have you decided on for putting with the gladiator?
Here's the full playlist for everything I've been adding to my gladiator - ua-cam.com/video/8YOD7oX-4WM/v-deo.html
regularly need to blow off dust. How effective is this unit ?
Nice!

How often do you have to refill the airtank on the twin? Is it difficult since it is hard mounted
Er, you don’t. The compressor fills the tank, that’s kinda the point 😂
Awesome rig.

Ron Mac thank you for your great recommendation. It is sure important to avoid rust....
Great info!!
I want to see it air up to 80psi
👍👍
That Time would be much less with vehicle running
Bigger is better
