Love how Eddie could be a truck driver, a tradesman or Grunge legend all at once.
Why? Because he's wearing a hat? lol
eddie is better than kurt cobain
Eddie Vedder?
Huh? Rich beta wearing a hat and plaid is still a rich beta.
Beta? Lol what a clown
They still sound fantastic, one of the all-time great rock bands.
They hadn't even had time for breakfast 😂 👏
@@dewiwilliams4821😂😂😂😂
There no Alice in chains
@@StevenironsThey’re
@@Stevenironsyes, they better
30 years later and still the only thing I've understood Eddie singing was that Jeremy spoke in class today.....and I love 'em!!
😂😂😂😂you’re not alone
Lol
😂😂😂i spat out my drink too funny 👍
Damn bro get your hearing checked 😂
😊😊
when he said "huurrrr yuuuhhh canyuh cidaaaaaa" i felt that....
We all did, Michael.
"Potato wave."
Seriously though, what happened to the beach? I swear I can make out "On a beach of weathered sand" in several different recordings. Now, it's all about the "Wayside".
😂
Lmao!!😂😂😂
And i know and i know and i dont wanna know and i call out her name-errr raah
whoever’s mixing this stuff needs more recognition. Great job! Let’s not forget Matt Cameron is an awesome, consistent drummer.
I would argue that Eddie sounds better when there's more groove on the drums.
100% agree.
Matt Is an outstanding drummer for sure.
Everything in Howard's studio sounds great for some reason...The drums should be overpowering but they aren't .
100% This is a great sounding mix.
Eddie’s distance control from the mic to mix is voice on the fly as he usurps his different voices is a true masterclass.
huh?
I really noticed that too. He is an amazing singer..
Works the mic well!!!
Also when he knows he’s going out of pitch… 😝
That's the biggest sentence I've ever seen.
Sounding just fucking perfect. Damn near emotional.
Every. time.
@bh2556 I always get a little teary eyed towards the end this song is very emotional and hits home
I get emotional sitting on the can each morning after my morning coffee
Nice to hear a great band so many decades later be on top of their game. Eddie hasn’t lost anything. Amazing.
There is nothing there to lose. Band sounds good though
Thinking exactly the same. Eddie sounds phenomenal. The band are just superb.
I sometimes imagine a world where Ten includes Yellow Leadbetter, Footsteps, State of love & trust and Breath. Those initial writing sessions must’ve been something else.
State and Breath writing More later. Ingresarían un álbum VS
OMG.... Footsteps , plus SOL&T !!!! Good Lord,.... what a time to be making music!
Don’t forget Wash.
@@leinonibishop9480 dont forget dirty frank!
@@km-hi9wj wasn't dirty frank written during VS timeframe? we're talking about TEN era songs here
Stone's acoustic guitar groove with the drums is just perfect 👌
I can’t hear it.
So tight
Great call out!
@@whiskersb5296 can hear it more in the chorus and bridge
@@whiskersb5296How can you not hear it???
this is the clearest I ever almost understood all the words to this song...the mix is so well done I can ever hear the acoustic guitar at times and the drums sounds, wow.
@mountainhobbit1971 “almost understood the words” Eddie still inscrutable 😊
He changed the hell out of em
@@ObamaFromKenya exactly ;-)
@@autk I hear he does that.
Stern's music studio is top notch. Just watched Heart. Crisp clear notes
God they still sound so good. Love this band 🔥
I think they actually sound BETTER
Almost makes me cry, so beautiful
@@krisfrederick5001It's called experience my friend 😌
Seeing them in Sydney November 23rd 2024, cannot wait! Haven't seen them play here since November 2009!!!❤
@@mrsjenz06 Same here, Ill be there on the 23rd as well
This is when we all listened the whole album, 100 times, and discovered gems
One of the greatest Bands of all time. What makes them even greater is just how much respect and love they have for each other after all these years.
Eddie sounds fantastic. He’s the last of his era we have left and it’s so good to see and hear him healthy and going strong.
He could sing the phone book and it would be amazing! One of the great rock bands of all time
I think he was.... and it sounded great!
Except all the names would be Aaarreesghhhooooohhggggggg bbooooooggggjjjgggggfsaaaaaaa 😂
Still my all-time favorite band
Imagine with Andrew wood
Well said indeed ❤
You're dating yourself. I remember those.
amazing sound engineer
The mumbling is even better than the recored version! Love it!
I was living in Seattle in my early twenties when PJ and the whole grunge thing was going on, being the ultimate rebel I shunned them all, then one rainy Halloween night I left a Halloween conga drumming party peaking on acid. I walked home and put on the headphones and this song came on the radio and my acid ears were stunned by how amazing the vibes made my brain feel…
@jackbedient bro you still dropping 30 years later 🤷🏻♂️
"Penultimate rebel"? Next to last rebel? What does that even mean?
@@williambremner9022I love that you pulled "penultimate rebel" out of that story ahahahaha
@@williambremner9022 He's trying to say it was his way of rebelling, but not very good at it.

Wow, we all have grown up. Ten came out when I was 14 and now I am 47. I remember seeing them on Headbanger's Ball in 1991 when Alive was released. That album speaks to my soul and reminds me of how innocent youth really is.
It was a magical time. I was 24 living in Seattle 93. The city was electric.
I'm 55 still jamming 1990z tunes
Love this band since 1992 ❤
and love Drazen
God the sound is incredible in Howard's studio. Then again it's Pearl Jam so it's always incredible.
PJ'S warehouse.
PJ's studio.
Howie is still in 2019 scared of
The covid even tho there hasn’t been a dangerous strain in 2 years.
This is how everything used to be recorded before 89 thousand track digital recording. You dont record the instruments individually you "record the room". Go down the rabbit hole of research about that, your ears will thank you.

To me we’re all still 20 something and it’s 1992😂
I was 30 then, but, same feeling!

We sure are!

Eddie’s vocals are still outstanding and emotional. Awesome job to Howard’s team on the sound as always.
Hands down my favorite Pearl Jam song ever
One of the most epic bands ever… and they still sound amazing!!!!
Cadê os brasileiros ouvindo esse HINO?! ❤❤❤❤❤
are you f*cking kidding me?? i got chills and tears rolling down my cheeks. i love this song so much. loved PJ since the first record. but this has always been one of my favorite songs. gorgeous and sublime.
how can they sound THIS GOOD after 34 years? damn.
thank Christ that Eddie is still with us. all the other vocal giants from that time are gone RIP ❤
Those drums sound amazing. Such depth and clarity
Matt Cameron is a god
One of my all time favourite songs. This still bangs.
holy crap his voice is still freaking phenomenal
I don't know why but seing Josh at the back always brings me so much joy.
me too :)
I Think the oposite...makes me sad because he os such a good musician and deserve a place in the Sun, not in the shadows or background
@ nobody forces him to be in 90s legacy bands instead of doing his own thing, he's obviously capable & solo music is very good, but if he wants to sit behind Pearl Jam that's his choice
"It's not a TV studio…Josh. Turn these lights out. It's a f. rock concert." Not the same Josh but I remembered the quote 😅
Daaaammnnnn! That perfection at riff🤯
THERE'S BOOM AND JOSH!! STONE'S GUITAR TECH THAT HE'S HAD FOR YEARS!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE PEARL JAM!! THIS IS TOTALLY AWESOME!! THANK YOU 😊🩷🤘✌️🔥
Incredible guitar tone!
Thier music and chemistry hasn't aged a bit.
Wow. What a treat.
I know, everbody has his or her own taste in Music… but how can you be alive and not love this?! Thanks 🫶
The hell...!!! Beautiful performance. Incredible sound, incredible voice. Clean and intact
I love their camaraderie. I've loved them since 93. When I listened to Ten for the first time it was like a religious experience. No other album ever has done that for me accept Disney on Ice.
@vedder10 😂😂
Such a soul stopper riff mad love pearl jam ,old freinds on the radio I never met
Dang that sound. So well produced. what a tight band. just lovely.
This song. After Ten, added a little mystique to the Legend that was quickly becoming Pearl Jam. I am so thankful that I was graced by the presence of the bands of this era while growing up.

Eternal Love for Stone and Mike!
They’ve still got it, no doubt about it
Eddie's voice is so unique 🖤
I swear Eddie sounds amazing, I heard him speak at first and wondered how his singing voice was, and wow, he's a legend.
PJ is a national treasure.
Yellow ledbetter ...my fav song
Got tears in my eyes watching this. Can't wait to see them this August in Missoula. It'll be my 4th time seeing them live. The three times I saw them live between 2012 and 2018, they've closed with "Indifference".
Indifference is one of my favorite closers, but I really need to see Yellow Ledbetter.
Still to this day, one if not the best rock act out there! Both on the new record as well as here, Eddies vocal seems revitalised. Wish I was nearby their upcoming tour..
Omg that was excellent
Damn he sounds soooooo good.. they all do.. masters of their craft … Pearl Jam forever ❤
TEN my #1 album of all time! Start to finish. The memories are insane and can make me emotional just thinking about it.
Bedlam in Goliath for me
That was fantastic
Keepin flannels alive and well.
Can't stop WON'T stop
Can't believe how good they sound! Saw them in Costa Rica back in 2011
Thank you Jeff Amet for all the skateparks in Montana!
A great lad he is.
This shit touches you deep down in your soul
Confession: I teared up listening to this.
Cracked me up when they all came over to push pedals on the Michael's board. He took it in stride and you could see him smiling. Love it!
Best band ever!!!! they sound incredible, love PJ forever.
Legends.
Amazing band forever
Still rocking the flannel 30 years later. What an amazing performance.
Great band. One of my favorites Howard. Thanks!
Amazing how Howard connects with them and pumps them up! Helps make their performance unique.
Wenaaa! Por fin un chileno 😂
He actually requested they play Glorified G to close, Ed said no, instead we got this❤
Magic pure magic masterpiece
Qualidade na voz q não se perde c o tempo!!! Banda q atravessa o tempo e as gerações!!

The musical performances on Howard Stern are some of the best ever.
Mike's back on Strat, great! 🤘🏾
Just made my lunch hour enjoyable!🤘🏾
Mike M slays it. The sounds coming from his deep talents are EPIC!
Living legend
Greatest band of all time.
Inexplicably brilliant! I sob, smile, sing and weep all in the space of this song. That guitar Mike, you pierce my soul ❤
This was the 1st Pearl Jam song that I listened, back there, in 2000. I was amazed by Ed's voice and felt in love with the band since then. Until now, I am still waiting them performing in Indonesia.
I love that even after 3 decades together (and even LONGER for Stone and Jeff), they're still able to have as much fun as some teenagers in their garage, yet be professional AF! ❤❤❤ The way they all go and attack Mike while he's trying to be serious (for once!) makes my heart sing!!! ❤❤❤❤ PEARL JAM FOREVER AND EVER!!!!! 🤟🤟
Always a classic.
Seeing them twice this year , Vancouver and Missoula
Pure Gold..❤
When they all come over and hit pedals. And Stone’s using the wah. That’s some great stuff.
Sounds great!!
I saw them when they were touring to promote their first album at a smallish venue in Stuttgart, Germany. What a night! Rock 🤘 🎸
That guitar riff is so beautiful
Wow they sound amazing and the vocals still fresh
Absolutely phenomenal. Wow.
Damn… Flawless!!!
Eddie’voice simply stunning one
This is a MONSTER band
Amazing song. One of my favorites from PJ
