Excellent Job Clay I usually Measure the Temp from the Center Vent At 1000-1500 RPM after Idling For 15 Mins . Right On Brother Thumbs Up Great Video as Always
+Chris Chiampo we usually measure for a little longer but i had trucks lined out the door. I knew if it cooled it down over 20 degrees on the driver vent at standard idle in 2 mins that it was working so .... it had to go. Plus it was our truck vs a customer truck. We got to keep those wheels turning on our own stuff !
Great video thanks my friend. I'm a little surprised that the machine didn't have to be on the system while it was running to check the pressure I must just be old school. Mack is a pretty good place to get parts when you can and the o ring grease I like it see to many people put regular grease on them don't like that eats them up. Keep up the great work my friend see you in the next video thanks again
+Scott Pearson those ac machines makes it easy. Pretty much set it and go do something else while it works. Saves time by not baby sitting it. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
Have an RTI A/C machine at my dad's and it has been a trouble free machine since day one.Used to have a Robinair that was a pile of junk since it was brand new,SPX whom owned Robinair would not do a thing about it.Gave the run around basically. My dad's 2001 Freightliner FL60,the a/c does not work and needs a condenser.Has not replaced it yet and will get to that some day
+wafrederick those condensers are salty ! I looked at the robinair machine before buying the snap On and honestly i just liked the snap on one better. Thanks for watching and thanks for taking the time to comment.
Juan Hinojosa it is and it makes life easy. Hook it up and set it and walk away and do something else. No more babysitting ! Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment.
So I have a 389 Peterbilt and it barely pushes out cool air. The blower system works fine it’s just the temperature. On the expansion valve it is wet and sometimes frozen which makes me think it might be plugged and not getting any more Freon into the system. I am not sure if the mechanic after changing the compressor had run a vacuum on the system or not. What else could it be and is it normal not to pull a vacuum on this. Thanks Teresa Charlotte Tennessee looking for some help here
Man I need to get an application for employment. You hire part time work lol I would have to get use to those crapcars I mean paccars lol😂😂 Great video keep em coming
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS haha it is an expensive tool but sure makes it easier. While it’s doing its thing you can do something else. Don’t have to baby sit it !
What if it's blowing cold up front but hot as hell in the bunk? Is there more than one expansion valve on a 2011 peterbilt 386 if so where are they because Peterbilt told me there is only one.
Txv's fun stuff, wish my shop had ac machine. MAC parts on paccar??? Isnt that illegal in several states???(wait, apparently so is brakeclean in ca, ma, ny, etc lolol)

Got to love modern day technology.
I'm jealous. I hope to get an a.c. machine soon. I was looking at the master cool command 3000.
+Antonio Boosta they sure make it easier. Hook it up. Set it and walk away and do something else. Nice not to babysit it.
Very cool. Informative as always. You do a great job!
+Shiloh Koon thank you !

Robinair is now owned by Bosch,Bosch bought out SPX a few years and it has been worse.Bosch does not stand behind anything at all
That ac machine is badass

Check your cabin and hvac filters
Where is the AC thermostat on that Paccar hiding at ??? Is it somewhere hidden behind that air intake around the blower fan ???
Man I need to get an application for employment. You hire part time work lol
I would have to get use to those crapcars I mean paccars lol😂😂
Great video keep em coming
+Phil D12 shoot yeah come on! Can’t ever have too many good mechanics when you have Paccars! Haha they aren’t too bad to work on.
thats "more better". that is a nice a/c machine. it dont get much easier than that.
J.C. SMITH PROJECTS haha it is an expensive tool but sure makes it easier. While it’s doing its thing you can do something else. Don’t have to baby sit it !

I have similar issue for my 2918 peterbilt579
@@shivanvlogs292at least on mine there's one under the bunk on the hvac unit
Great video...how come you know the expansion valve was not broken?
It was cooling fine just had a leak where line goes in. You could charge the system and in two days it would be out. We found it using ac dye
Did you guys just have a truck at mhc kenworth in Chattanooga TN I swear I saw that truck logo there the other day.
corwindotsonful we had one a while back the ac condenser was bad on the truck and he was there and had a 34 hour restart to do so it was fixed there.
Great Video like always.
Big Daddypat thank you sir ! Thanks for watching and also taking the time to comment.
Neat video man.
Can you still do this if you don’t have that fancy AC thing ?
If you don’t have Freon in the system and have a vacuum pump
Txv's fun stuff, wish my shop had ac machine. MAC parts on paccar??? Isnt that illegal in several states???(wait, apparently so is brakeclean in ca, ma, ny, etc lolol)
Haha yes it is ! That’s sad too isn’t it ?
Koon trucking on the moon.
+B Salvadras haha
Hey y’all Not sure if you are still putting videos on UA-cam, but if you are can you send me a thumbs up.
Can't hear you
Good Video, Just couldn't hear anything
Damn that machine cost 13000 on the snap on truck
+Gary Clemons no ! I think it is like $6400 on the truck
