The genius that is Kevin Rowland. One small thing (in the myriad of things he has recorded), but 40 years later and nobody has come close to replicating that chunky rhythm guitar sound on "Geno".
It's a cracking tune,, been listening to dexys since I was 7, 8 Yr old awesome band,, can remember going to Scarborough on holiday at 8 Yr old and somebody played dexys all the way there on the bus obviously young soul rebels, I'm now 49 and still love dexys 💕💕

Something about the quirkiness of this up-tempo remake just makes you feel good!!! Well done 👏👏👏!
One of my all time favorite singers and groups. Dexy's never made it big in US other than 1-2 songs, but he is innovative and the music is great. I still listen to it all the time and still get goosebumps when I listen to My National Pride.
