We change hydraulic oil at 6k hours even though our tractor work fully rough and tough

What is the hydraulic oil grade of John Deere 5042?
Surely its the same hi gard
Mine's all screwed up, added h. fluid, glass bubble didn't change, steered good for a month, then mysteriously showed 3/4 full, now showing empty again, and barely turning! I have no idea where the fluid is going!
