Why does everyone think Armstead and Kinlaw were major losses? Armstead hadn't really done anything in years, much to do with injury, and Kinlaw never established himself as anything but a fill in for rotational rest.
I agree. Most of the time Armstead was injured or a non factor. No big loss and Kinlaw never panned out.
The 9ers are losers cause they are now forced to pay more cause like every year they wait till the last minute.
With that said overall I'd say they'll winners based on the free agents and draft class. I think SF found a solid 3 starters this draft with some good depth not far behind.
There's already quite a few rookies looking good in camp along with some later round pics.
I'm totally excited about the future of this team. I'm really hoping this will be our best draft class since 86.
@@metaldefender49 How are the 49ers losers when it seems every team is now paying more? Aiyuk is under contract for 1 more year and then the 9ers can tag him for two years. 49ers have the upper hand here. I love BA and want to keep him, but demanding $ he knows the 49ers aren't willing to pay and then crying about how "they don't want me" is borderline childish.
@@lisaac9477 if you reread my full comment, you'll understand what I mean. if they would've signed that earlier, let's say eight months ago he would've only been worth 26 million easy now because the organization waited and took their time like they do every year he's asking for more because the price of the position went up that itself makes you somewhat of a loser if they would've would've been cheaper .
I think other teams did better in off season by getting better. The problem its much harder to get better when you are on the top.
How can yall say some one lost the off-season . First thing I didn’t want to see A. Armsteed cut but we revamp the D-line . We addressed the secondary in the draft and added some WR’s . The one thing that pisses me off is they don’t prioritize the Oline like they should but they did address some positions. The only reason why people are talking is because of the BA situation which will get worked out . We are great !!!!
Not making the offensive line a priority, can keep the 49ers from winning a Super Bowl. I'm 49er fan that frustrates me, because we need to protect Brock Purdy because we don't have a quarterback behind him that can win games.
Next year we really need to put more resources towards the o line.
I personally think our defense will but much better. Gross and Floyd seem to have better motors. I’m glad to see armstead and kinlaw gone. Also our cb room should be a lot better as well. We should be golden. Pearsol , well we gotta wait to see.
Won because they signed Leonard Floyd to work with bosa and when I watched him last year he did pretty good 👍 but the 49ers are looking good with pearsall and other weapons.
In my view, it is all speculation at this point until training camp.
In all 🤔, I would give us a B-. With that though it could jump up to a B+ or an A. I like the moves we made with our defense. That's including the coaching staff for our defense. I believe our defense will compete in the top three this year. If our defense goes off like I expect. Bosa should break some records this year. The pressure should be taken of him more this year Is freeing him up to cause even more havok. We have more than one dog. Plus this will be year two with Javon Hargrave. Floyd is gonna be so effective, he was a great pick up.
I still say B- because that's how I'm going to start the season thinking. I'm not gonna get all super hyped like yall ( I ) did last year lol. To me with what we did this off season. By week 10. I expect grade A effort. No drama among players. Everyone should be focused on the main goal ( Superbowl Win ), staying healthy, execution, having as much fun as possible. This could be the last year together with this group. We have to win it all now.

49ers made big improvements. These are just hearing the aiyuk stuff and judging itnoff of that
Remember your offensive only move only if you have a good offensive line to open wholles and be able to protect your quarter back. Because of that I wouldn't be surprised if they don't reach the play offs.
Winner on defense. Offense same or better depends on Ricky and the other draft picks.
We definitely improved from last year because of the depth we’re going to have this year but if Colton doesn’t take a huge leap forward I agree with being offseason loser because we didn’t address RT and that’s pathetic that was biggest reason we lost SB other than they allowed the chiefs to hold every 3rd down play and another reason I’d say we’re loser is because we haven’t signed BA we could’ve had that done a week after the SB for about 25mil now we’re causing all this drama and going pay him 29-30mil I love lynch but they blew this one bad and it was easy to see it coming so I’m not sure there going to give him deal I’ll be pissed if not I’m sure they’ll be upset I’m mad
The 49ers did not LOSE the offseason. Just because we did not make a SPLASH means diddly squat. We have one of the best Rosters in all of the NFL. We did not need a splash. Part of our issue is how to pay everybody in 2025! Hard to splash with so many talented Players needing new contracts. Have to plan for that gee whiz. Kinlaw did not pan out at all...reminds me of the Solomon Thomas whiff! Armstead LY was average at best. We got a nice piece in Floyd to go opposite Bosa.....wow what a whiff Chase Young was, but I get why they tried. I don't know what happened to that Dude...he totally lost it...and for such a younger Guy. The biggest choke I thought Niners made was not getting a trade done before Draft for BA or Deebo. I know we cannot pay both with so many mouths to feed in 2025 (Purdy, Greenlaw, Fred, Ward, Hufanga, to name a few). Pearsall....Man seems like everybody but CJ Stroud thinks/thought that was a huge stretch to be a #1. I hope CJ is right...and he is special! Our weakness in my opinion last year and remains.....We are avg at best in the Secondary....I admit was dreaming of picking up Surtain...he is such a stud. Still avg going forward....Top QB's seem to fair very well against us LY and is concerning.
You don't win games in the off-season you build your team, hopefully the 49ers continue to do that Brick by Brick.

9ers got way better on defense ,especially cb,and defensive line, kinlaw sucked and armstead was always hurt. We got more offensive weapons and depth on the o line

A minute forty two in and I have to comment. The Athletic’s record is no better than any one else. I believe I’ll be close when I say this but it’s a paltry 32% of first, second and third round picks that end up being worth their draft position. What the heck can the Athletic really know?????
Who cares ? It's the off season. Teams that win the offseason. Don't win when matters most . It's like Rodgers. League MVP. He's champion of the regular season. So what. He chokes come play off time.
