I'm curious, what are you actually doing for a living now and what do you plan to do on the road to make extra money? I'm also wondering what is your plan with the van in the end of yours journey? Sell the van or you will take it back from South America with a container ship?

Do you guys know Dan Grec? He did the same journey in a Jeep TJ and it took him 2 or 3 years I believe. See his book 'the road choose me volume 1'

Yes please definitely include a part about the vehicle in your series. How come you're not using the Prado for the trip?
We basically wanted an offroad home on wheels, that works in all weather conditions. RTT are great, but a real pain in cold weather
What do you think it will cost would love to know how you are going to finance the trip
