I have one ,exactly the same but it's a silver/gold , 2004, mint condition I got it with 60,000 miles it's now got 100,000 miles never missed a beat, I would never get rid of it, ever, it's are daily driver and holiday truck, we are from Bristol UK, we travel around Bavaria ,Switzerland, France, and I am very impressed with your expedition, very brave, but definitely the best truck in my opinion in the world, it's a bit like the saying ,not too big and not to small , fuel economy is about 32 miles to the UK gallon , my congregations to you and your partner 😀 👍

I love visiting the car museum in Fairbanks. There's so much amazing history about early 1900s transportation in Alaska. I also like the electric car from the early 1900s. It's crazy that we had that technology back then but haven't made it completely mainstream yet.

What about the Volkswagen LT40 4x4 syncro? Better, similar or worse? And the similar Iveco 40e 10w but small truk?

Nothing can compete with the romance of Dawson City and Old Town Lunenburg in Nova Scotia. Canada is a very romantic place.

The more frequent population quote is around 2000 people. Certainly in Summer it is more than 1400. Also Dawson continues to support gold miners being a service area for them. Considering that many mining towns are empty Dawson is doing alright. Whitehorse is a lovely small city as well. 🙂

I binged watched all your videos last year while we did the northern half of the Panamerican up to Tuktoyaktuk …we took a break to save up and preparing to handle the southern half in Columbia starting in January… thanks for the inspiration. Hi. I admire your travels. Let me ask three questions to you: 1) when you had the LC 120, was the car lifted? Or is everything standard? 2) at some point you removed the running boards. Why? To increase the clearance of the car? Is it better or worse without the running boards. 3) your experience is that it is possible to travel without a car lifted or is it better to make an lift? I have an LC 120 with air and you can’t just do an lift like that. Thank you for your answers and time.

Basically, the Italian Government asked Fiat/Iveco to build a van for the military. This is what they came up with. The 2020+ models are insane. You should look for the Overland series. It was a televised overland/expedition documentary of a convoy of orange Iveco trucks and vans traveling all over the world. The name overlanding comes from that expedition
