- Building a startup can be extremely difficult and a very time-consuming process. However, I built a SaaS product in just 54 days as a high school student. Watch this video to learn how!
My Startup (not a scam, the URL just isn't a custom domain):
jotter-98391.web.app

I love the Fact you have such short but informative Videos! Keep it up man!
You really look like you will make it in life!
keep going!
Thank you so much man! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
i think the products really good too, i also coded a startup over the summer and i wish have picked up journaling back then, or even made videos about the process
thanks for watching and thanks for using the product! You can still make videos about your startup, I'm sure you have valuable info that people would love to hear!
nice job getting out there, happy to see it!
Thanks 👍 More videos to come!
@@VeenitXSheth just out of curiosity, you mentioned you were in high school, are you in your last year? asking cause I'm graduating high school this year too haha
@@ainbrisk545nope, ive gotten asked this a few times and its shocking to everyone when I say I'm only a freshman. early congrats on graduation! Hang in for just a few more months lol

@@VeenitXSheth Impressive work for Jotter, especially that you built it in such a short time with little experiences! 👍
What are your next steps?
great advise👍
Glad it was helpful!
you should totally add subway surfers clips below your video
No. Just no. This isn’t a shitty UA-cam short with a Reddit screenshot above it
Hey I am also a developer , I really liked your project but I have some feedback for you , I think you should allow markdown syntax in your textboxes (bcoz it's a quite a norm in soceitey it will be visually appealing and tech friendly)
also are you looking for devs?
Thanks for watching and glad you liked the project! I might add in markdown support but I’m focusing on a much larger project right now so Jotter isn’t my biggest priority. Also, I’m not looking for developers at the moment.
@@VeenitXSheth if jotter is not your main focus and if it's not making you any revenue at this time just make it opensource
@@ashish7604yea I probably will in a bit
It looks great, nice work! One question, how do you plan on monetize the app?
Not really sure if I will since I’m gonna be launching something much bigger soon, but if I had to right now, I would make a newsletter and run ads on it or something maybe a blog. Essentially something indirect from the core app for good UX
Hey, can you tell me what is your core skills and what extra skills you had to acquire in the journey of making this saas?
Definitely! I’ll actually make a video about this soon but in summary, Firebase, video production and UI design
Couldn't connect with you through the link, it says the page is under construction
I love the logo. Did you design it yourself?
Yup all the actual visual design and UI design was done by myself but for the logo, I did ask for some concept ideas from ChatGPT lol
very basic website make it better
Yeah true I’m working on something else but I’ll make a GitHub repo and you can fork if you want later
Love that british guy’s cameo 0:45, but on a real note why is he recommended everywhere no matter what you’re watching 😭?!?
lmfao yea Ali Abdaal is in my recommendations a lot. idk, I guess props to him since he knows something about youtube I don't, man is appearing left right and center lol
Ali Abdaal is a scam artist. Like most youtubers with a course to sell.
@@johno4377 I wouldn't say a complete scam artist as some of his advice isn't complete trash, but yes, the goal is to sell you a course which makes him seem very ingenuine
Hmmm cool stuff. But you can't call it a startup by creating a simple journal web app. I have checked it out UI is great. It should have been available in smartphone app atleast.
Yea tbh I clickbaited little bit 😅 but I am working on building out a much larger project with marketing efforts and a mobile app in the future that I’ll be make vids on!
that impressive
Thank you hope you enjoyed!
Love you from India.. brother
Thanks!
i really appreciate your videos they re really motivating can you release next video on roadmap like how and which language did you code and how did you upscaled your idea cause im struggling rn tooo if you cant upload a video on it can you please get in contact with me im very eager to learn with you please...
Thank you so much for watching! I won’t make any more videos about Jotter specifically but I have another massive project in the works that can be much more valuable so when that is finished, I’ll be sure to make videos about it!
@@VeenitXSheth thankyouuu sooo much soo can i get in contact with you I'll love to learn from you i just need some guidance as I'm planning something tooo.........
Wow. Really inspiring.
How do you make money from your software, though?
at the moment, i don't. This was supposed to be my startup but after launch, I realized that it wasn't going to happen. Plus, this was the first real production-ready application I've built so I wasn't comfortable making money from it. I have another project in the works that is actually super close to launching and that is what I'm going to monetize in the future. But Jotter will continue to stay up as it doesn't cost me anything to run.
Just curious, what will the main revenue streams for your startup?
So I’ve decided that instead of monetizing Jotter directly, I’ll prob instead work towards another project I’m supper close to launching that has more effort put into it. As far as Jotter, not really sure so idk if u can really consider it a startup lol
@@VeenitXSheth got it @VeenitXSheth
I am excited to see your future endeavours
@@arulrino7958 Thank you! I'm excited to make more content about tech and startups!
