Hey Marc! Could you create a video going through your typical tech stack and infrastructure please! Really interested as to how high your overhead for infrastructure costs!
As a developer, who is looking towards building my own Saas I highly enjoyed this video Marc, Thank you, please keep sharing more from your journey! I will be sharing as well!
Phase 1 for me is to research promising app ideas. Study their structure. Phase 2: Test Ideas (including free app for idea evaluation). Phase 3: Build mvps.
I think he got one to blow up, generated content and followers and then the next project is easier to advertise since he already has a channel. Not exactly recreateable if you don't want to make youtube videos. Still massive value from this video.
I mean… in this video he literally said Product Hunt Twitter HackerNews and Reddit While we’re building, we can create these accounts if not already on there then when the product is ready to get eyes on it or initial users, put it up there.
Man, you really have a talent to create interesting content and original products! I found you by chance last weekend, and read your Twitter account like a maniac, lol. I can really see the influence from other indie makers like levelsio :) respect for all of that. It's one of those rare cases where even if I hate to say it I'm going to say it: you inspired me ;)
I built a project for my weekend getaway to a convention (Anime Boston) that helps me schedule events. The idea to expand it and make it available to others as a service only came AFTERWARDS. Now Im on track for launch with beta user reaching out to me!
I’m software developer and i study english too. I’m thinking in to try create a saas consuming content in english and using other programming languages, in this way I improve 2 skills at the same time
Hey Marc. Great job!👏 How do you handle the costs of hosting the script if people only pay one time for the PoopUp? I’m assuming you have it running on a server somewhere and have to keep it hosted
@@marc-lou But if some website with large amount of traffic uses your script, how will you handle ? Also I don't understand how is this even scalable. E.g. your script is exposed and anyone can just copy the script and use it without even going on dashboard. (Assuming if someone is having knowledge of basic js they can do it easily).
@@zapfska7390Been following Mark before he got serious on UA-cam and I can tell you that's not it haha. He's had like 600 subs for years. He does have a prominent following on Twitter tho.

Hi @marc-lou I hope you are well. I notice most of your startups mainly feature landing pages are you creating two web apps per startup i.e one for the landing and the second for the actual functionality of the startup?
Hey Marc! thanks for your videos! Your vids helped me to finally take some steps towards my dreams. Especially your opinion about coding. I have been overwhelmed by the fact that to be the best coder, i need to learn typescript. Now i just go with the flow on what i know and dont worry about it. Thanks again. Cant wait for more vids!
Can you make a complete course on how to use Copilot and create a complete project with it, even if it is small, but we need to understand how the workflow works. Your friend from Egypt 🙌❤
Hey, how do you send that popup component as response in nextjs api response. I'm dealing with this prblm and I can't find any clue. And again my question is how do you send that pop up to another website as response
Been following you for a month now. Im inspired to start my own saas but i have no idea how to code. ...id love to build a saas like your indie page but for forex traders. However i have no idea where to start. So i guess the question is how do i start?😅
Marc you are so inspirational. And you’re growing so fast! I definitely want to give indie hacking a try some time in my life. I bet you’ll reach 300k subscribers by the end of the year! Cheers brother 🎉
Hey Marc, would you be willing to mentor and help me get to a point where I would love to be, I am at that point where I wanna give up but the only thing that has kept me going is that I have been surviving with my coding and designs skills, and I enjoy building stuffs.
and now everyone tries that, at the end of the day 100% fails and no real profit from that, life is life, but good content to grow up fast on YT by just doing good titles
If you have built a product that isn’t making profit, either your product sucks or your marketing sucks. The problem with the indie hacking/start up community now isn’t videos like this, it’s people thinking a specific tech stack or random idea with no market research is going to make them rich.
All my friends who started the journey with me 2 years ago are all making $10K/month If you know a better way, maybe share your knowledge instead of hitting on people who show up?
I don't think saying "Copilot builds me code I don't even understand" is a good idea given you're a developer that delivers paid products, and tbf I like the content but because of what was said here I don't think I will ever go for any of your paid projects. It's just some feedback from me.
I am curious as an dev what’s your approach on your marketing? How do you acquired customers? Do you creates ads? Would be interesting to have a video on that
You would be surprised for what people actually are willing to pay. One of my biggest problems in the past: "Who would pay for this"? Oh boy, was I wrong. People buy all kinds of things, even things where I would never ever spend money on it. That's the coolest part of him actually: Just ship it fast, don't test, just ship it and if nothing works out, then he did "only" waste 3 days of his life. People validate their product for weeks just to find out no one wants it. He builts it in couple of days.

I think main problem is not about how to get startup ideas is about how to get the first traffic on your website… fb ads ? TikTok ads ? Forum ?
UA-cam videos 😊
I was asking the same question. He has tons of followers on Twitter/YT which is a great advantage

Can you build a product from scratch without using your audience
I want to buy shipfast but I have barely any experience with programming the actual function of the website. Any advice on what you used to learn?
I'll write about it soon!
You'll need the basics of ReactJS & TailwindCSS to use ShipFast - so I suggest you learn first using Udemy/UA-cam

where if refund policy document on poopup? Your terms and conditions mention about "refund policy" but I am unable to find it anywhere.
You are a really good example brother, really interesting the github copilot, really useful
Sir, is it required to build a SAAS we must be a Full-stack developer? 🤔
What about knowing ML along with it please make a video?
What do you use for screen recording? It's really nice! (or nicely edited!)
Pretty sure it’s Screen Studio
Can you please tell me how you prevent piracy on shipfast? What if someone takes a template and resells it?
Marc how do you create your videos with the smooth cursor and zooming in/out?
I'm using Screen Studio

Fascinating! ✨ How do you handle data protection and GDPR-related legal stuff regarding your customers signing up to use your SaaS?
Can you make a vid on pricing? I'm curious why you chose to do LTD rather than sub.
How do you make your products "visible" to possible clients?
What do you think about code stack+AI vs no-code stack?

He’s using Screen Studio. It’s Mac only and costs 80 USD but it’s AMAZING.
what do I study do be able to do it? ReactJS and Javascript?
And TailwindCSS
I noticed your sites look amazing, how do you design them?
What app do you use for recording your videos like this?

Please make a video about how to get visitors for these projects. Like randomly posting on Reddit or Twitter wont generate 1k visits right?

Does anyone know what tool he is using to make these UI videos?
Does it include the marketing? Or was it organic google searches?
I'm sure by now he uses his followers and announces products on twitter etc.

you also do UX/UI for your projects yourself?
Yes
