Love your pretty colors! Mine is in beachy colors, pinks shades, Minty Green, yellow. Mine is too skinny, but you're absolutely correct about the moss stitch. Fast and easy.

I am going to be making a version of a temperature blanket for my husband this year. Since we met, he has always complained that it rains on his birthday…every year. 😒
So I decided to go back and document the weather on his birthday for each year of his life (52 yrs). Turns out it only rained 11 times, lol. For each year I plan to document the high temp, low temp, sunny (yellow) vs cloudy (charcoal gray), & if it rained (blue).
The temp color variation won’t be too different because they will all be an august day and therefore the general temp ranges will be very similar. However, it’s those random blue stripes that will be the main focus. I’m curious to see what it looks like as it comes together.

Your blanket is going to be beautiful! I love the variegated colors. I was thinking of possibly doing a scarf, using temps from one day each week. It might still be too long. I did a temp blanket last using one day each week of the high and low temps. It’s quite long, but very pretty. I did get behind in the summer by two months. It was too hot to work on the blanket. Thank you for the comforting bible verse. 🙂

It looks absolutely gorgeous!!! I’m not trying to buy anymore yarn…but I may have to go to Hobby Lobby…blaming you🤣🤣🤣. Fear not for I am with thee…GOD took the sting out of death. Still makes it hard when you loose someone that you are very close to…both my parents are in heaven and I find comfort and rejoice in knowing that I will see them again one day…like the sings says when we all get to heaven what a day of rejoicing that will be!!! That’s why it is so important to be kind to one another and enjoy our time here on earth while we can. Be safe and have a blessed evening ❤

I'm really liking your color choices. I'm not working on a temp blanket but I am working on a couple of stashbusters. One is using my scraps for a blanket using the granny ripple stitich that so many crocheters used for their temp blankets last year. It's a really pretty stitch. My other stashbuster is making squares, using the pattern by Wisecraft called Granny with a Circle Center. There are so many finished projects that are beautiful with that stitch. I'm making a ton and can make a variety of things - pillows, tops, runners, blankets, etc. Now you've encouraged me to use up my variegated scraps in another project as well, thanks. Maybe I'll start a blanket using the Moss stitch. God bless.

I think it's working up beautifully. I was thinking of making a "temperature cardigan" with a very light weight yarn. I'm trying to figure out if i can make it work. I love the fact that you didn't make the decision to follow traditional solid colored blankets. Knowing what would keep you invested is huge with a project of this size.

Your blanket is coming out beautifully! I’m making one too but the cluster stitch and every other day using the temperature high in my area which is the Berkshires of Massachusetts. I thank Him daily for becoming flesh and taking our sins. I, too, hope for Heaven ❤️

I used to sing in a small church band and we did a song “Winner Either Way.” Can’t give credit to who wrote it, because I don’t know, but loved singing it!
It talked about how we are winners whether we stay here with our loved ones, or go to be with Jesus. ❤❤❤

Your colors are beautiful. I just started a temperature blsnket as well.and I'm also doing the moss stitch. I was so excited when I came across your channel. I'm in southern California and we don't have a big range of temperatures so I still chose 10 colors but 4 degree increments. I'm using hobby lobby soft and sleek in more neutral colors. It's looking great so far. I Love that you do a Bible verse - thank you ❤️

Beautiful colors. I am also using the yarn from Hobby Lobby in pastel colors. I am doing a linen stich square for each month.(1 round = 1 day.) It's so pretty so far. I was going to crochet once a week on it, but I couldn't wait that long, so I have been doing every other day.

Different but so beautiful! I too am using I love this yarn, but I'm using the sport weight. For January I am doing the ocean wave stitch. Each month will be a different stitch with a row of white between the months. I am also recording both the low and the high for the day here in Arkansas.

Doing a temp blanket, but not using the degrees. Doing the weather by the month, (how cold, warm, hot, or cool for each month. I'm using the ripple stitch. Love your scriptures. Thank You for sharing.

Awesome to see a Kentucky temperature blanket! I'm also from Kentucky. This is my first temperature blanket and I'm using the moss stitch. Both are first for me as well. I'm using the same brand of yarn, but different colors. Mine look tropical to me. Love the brighter colors. I look forward to seeing how your blanket progresses.

I bought all the same colors so I could follow you but I changed the color based on my temp. and I have more cold days so I have more blues I got a couple more prints colors as I'm using 12 colors..❤ can't wait to see how it turns out.
I'm in the process of moving from Texas to Indiana and have OVER 100 totes of yarn...I have been sending yarn to a friend I have her on UA-cam...I'm being told the yarn is going on the truck last and if it doesn't fit I might have to leave behind 😪 I'm thinking...I may have to decide what's more important 🤷🏻♀️. My yarn or furniture 🧐 I have been shipping boxes to my friend...I'm hoping I'm not overwhelming her...🙏🙏

Hello! Your blanket is beautiful. I love how colorful it is. My weekly pregnancy blanket is coming along nicely. I had to go back to 11/18/22 and catch up. I’m really liking the moss stitch. My Premier yarn order has shipped, so hopefully I can start my 2023 blanket next week. High and low temps each week, so not hard to catch up. Have a great week. 💕🧶

I love color too. The blanket is looking great. I started making a blanket with the moss stitch and I love the pattern but my colors are so boring I can’t get into it. I love scrappy too so I’m thinking of starting over with my vibrant scrap yarn.

You must either be having quite a warm spell if you need a 10 deg. and below as a category for daily highs. Brrr...
Our temps here are usually in the 20's and 30's in the winter and 80's and 90's in summer but we also get the occasional super cold or burning hot days! Lol I hope to not have to use the 10 degree and below colorway often!
