My Experience With a Temperature Blanket

As a beginner crocheter I wanted to share my year long project!
For this blanket I used Caron One Pound yarn from Joann. It’s an acrylic worsted weight. I used a 4 mm hook. Colors used: bright white (I think off white would look beautiful) for temperatures ranging from 0-35 degrees, Fig 36-45 degrees, Canal 46-55 degrees, Succulent 56-65 degrees, Sunflower 66-75 degrees, Faded Brick 76-85 degrees, Claret 86-105 degrees. I used the high temperature for Spring and Summer and low temperature for Fall and Winter.

I too have been crocheting a temperature blanket this year. It has been very satisfying seeing it come together. I used a calendar from the dollar tree and just write down the temp. I did lows the first and last three months of the year. And highs for August-September. I did do a line between the months. I did the moss stitch. Right now I’m two weeks behind but I’m off this week for the thanksgiving holiday and will catch up. I’m so excited to see how it turns out! 😊
