yea i have NOT had the same results. i tried this 3 batches now and the mess was a nightmare. do NOT let kids or um...25 year old airheads like me do this unsupervised. i covered s 4x4 foot area in my bathroom with white dust and was picking crumby putty balls off my hands and arms for hours. mine always ended up swirly no matter how i work it, and its like no matter how much cornstarch i shovel over it, 3 squeezes and its back to glue, gloves get gommed up instantly. maybe i got the wrong gloves but they just bond with the putty like fricken straight silicone. all i wanted was a way of making moldable silicone rubber putty that sets into stiff rubber, now my favorite t-shirt looks like it was hugged by a cocaine monster and the thing i made isnt properly setting up. big flakey mess, why always gotta be mean to me, stupid crafty stuffs? i need a hug, a professional, and a big pitcher of daiquiris.

Make sure its silicon one and do it outside first time its messy after awhile you get really food at making it

Use alot more cornstrach
Mix the silicone an food coloring together, dump the blob into corn starch just coat don't mix
